Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otter Card

Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otter Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otter Stamp Set, a freebie during Sale-A-Bration with a qualified order.

My inspiration for the day’s challenge is complements of NBUS (Never-Before-Used-Schtuff).  I have not used the Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otter Stamp Set before except for the birthday greeting. Everything else is new to me. I sure hope this does not disqualify me from participating in this challenge.

My card starts with a Basic White card stock base.  A panel of Real Red card stock becomes the mat for the background panel which is two different patterns of the Sweet Talk DSP.

Two images from the Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otters Stamp Set is stamped in Soft Suede ink on Basic White card stock, colored using Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers, fussy cut and one is popped on using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, the other Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Hearts are fussy cut from Sweet Talk DSP and popped around the Otters.  The greetings are stamped in Real Red ink, one greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otters Stamp Set, the other from the Kisses & Hugs Paper Pumpkin.

A sentiment from retired Stampin’ Up! Lots of Heart Stamp Set is stamped in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, matted on a panel of Real Red card stock, it is adhered to the card base after the Real Red heart and otter are popped in the corner.  I made the otter as he is hugging the heart by stamping a second otter and fussy cutting the arms and adding to the image.

The flap of a medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Sweet Talk DSP applied to it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Hugs Card

Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Hugs Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Stamp Set.  This stamp set is a free item during Sale-A-Bration with a qualified purchase.

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge gives the inspiration for the design of my card.

I started my creation by starting with a Basic White card stock base, embossing a panel of the same white card stock using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, cutting a piece of card stock for the art piece, and embossing it at the bottom using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder before stamping the art image.

The bird image from the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Stamp Set is stamped in Smoky Slate ink above the embossed portion of the card.  I used Watercolor Pencils in Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Pumpkin Pie to color the image along with a Blender Pen.

A heart is cropped using a die from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder and Hugs is stamped in Memento Black ink.  Hugs is one of the stamps from Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, I masked the other two words so only the Hugs would stamp.

Mats of Pacific Blue card stock are cut for the art piece and the greeting.  A strip of the Friendly Hello DSP is cut for the band across the card.  Now all layers are assembled using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Brushed Brass Butterflies are popped onto the art piece.

The inside panel gets the same bird stamped on it as the one on the front of the card. It is colored using the same colors of Watercolor Pencils.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of  Friendly Hello DSP applied to the flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Talk Card

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Talk Card

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up1 Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper.

The design challenge at Sunday Stamps is my inspiration for today’s card.

I started with a card base of Highland Heather card stock adding a panel of the same embossed using the Timber Embossing Folder.  The embossed panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Two panels of Sweet Talk DSP are cropped using the next to largest Stitched Rectangle Dies.  The two panels are adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A strip of the Sweet Talk DSP is adhered across the panels so that little hearts show and I didn’t have to fussy cut them as I did all the larger hearts that are popped over the strip using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A greeting is stamped in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Highland Heather card stock and cropped using the smallest Stitched Rectangle Dies.  It is popped on the card front.  Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels are scattered around the card front.

The sentiment panel is left blank for a written message.  Hearts from the Sweet Talk DSP are popped in the corner.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of  Sweet Talk DSP applied to the flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days In The Moment with Sweet Talk and New Horizons card

Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days In The Moment with Sweet Talk and New Horizons card

The card I am sharing today is created using several stamp sets and dies.  You know the saying, ” You can’t tell a book by it cover, well that’s the case here.  You will be surprised when you open the card and see the inside.  The front and inside are definitely something most people would not put together to create.

My inspiration for this card comes from the Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge — Embossing, Purple or Pink, Shaped Card or Fun Fold.

The card base is Blushing Bride with mats of Real Red.  Do you agree, you would not put these two DSPs together?

A panel of the New Horizon DSP is cut, matted and adhered to the panel for the card front.  The smaller card has a panel of Real Red card stock embossed using the Timeworn Type 3-D Embossing Folder and adhered to the small card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A tree from the Majestic Mountain Dies is cropped and the top clipped off and adhered to the card front.

The remaining two panels of the card get Sweet Talk DSP matted on Real Red card stock adhered to their panels.  The small card gets Real Red card stock adhered to all three panels after being embossed.  The first panel has a heart cropped from the New Horizon DSP and a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days Stamp Set stamped on the heart in Memento Black ink.  Birds are free-handed as I had loaned my set with the birds but remembered later that Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Stamp Set had birds on one of the stamp, so it was used for the birds on the front panel.

The second heart is embossed and cropped from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder using Basic White card stock. It has a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Stamp Set stamped in Memento Black ink and popped on a Basic Black arrow that I cut as I have no die for an arrow. The arrow is popped over the heart using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The third heart is cropped using a heart from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder and the words I cut from old cards and adhered with Liquid Glue.  Sequins from the Kisses & Hugs Paper Pumpkin are scattered around the card.

When the two cards are adhered together to create the fun fold make sure you have the smaller card fitted on the large card so the card will fit into a regular envelope.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the New Horizon DSP applied to the flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Catching Butterflies Think of You Card

Stampin’ Up! Catching Butterflies Think of You Card

The card I am sharing today is a cute little card that is created using the Stampin’ Up! Catching Butterflies Stamp Set.  This is a free item during Sale-A-Bration with a qualified purchase.  I saw a card like this somewhere in my internet travels but can’t find the card again, so do not know the person to thank.  If you have seen it, let me know so I can give the person credit for CASing.

The challenge at Festive Friday is the perfect challenge for today’s card. Red, pink, ribbon, hearts, watercolor, and stitching; I didn’t realize I used so many of them.

I started with a card base of Basic White card stock.

A panel of Real Red card stock is cut as the mat for the Sweet Talk DSP panel.  They are adhered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A band of Real Red is cut and embossed using a folder from the Dotty Hearts Embossing Folders. A scrap of lacy polka dot ribbon is adhered across the band and the band is adhered to the background panel.

The girl image from the Stampin’ Up! Catching Butterflies Stamp Set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  The image can then be cropped using a die from the Layering Circle Dies on page 163 of the Annual Catalog. The image is colored using Watercolor Pencils in Flirty Flamingo, Early Espresso, and Basic Grey. The Basic Grey can barely be seen on the butterfly net.

The greeting is stamped in Real Red ink on a small piece of Basic White card stock and cropped using a die from the Ornate Frame Dies.  Both die cuts are now popped over the Real Red band using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Red and pink hearts are fussy cut from a scrap of the Sweet Talk DSP and popped around the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from the Catching Butterflies Stamp Set is stamped in Real Red ink on a cropped heart from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder, this folder includes dies also.  The heart is then adhered to the inside panel.  The love you sentiment is from the January Paper Pumpkin Kisses & Hugs.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Sweet Talk DSP applied to the flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are at the end of this post.
