Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned Sending Hugs

Stampin’ Up! Hand Penned Sending Hugs

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Handed Penned Stamp Set, the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Stamp Set for the inside sentiment, the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set for the greeting and the Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings Dies for the butterflies.

I am playing along with Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge.  Anything Goes is the theme.

I started with a Highland Heather card stock card base.  A panel of Basic White card stock is stamped in Versa Mark ink and Gold Embossing powder is sprinkled over the ink.  It is then heat embossed to set the Gold Embossing Powder.

The flowers and leaves are watercolored using Polished Pink and Evening Evergreen inks with a Water Painter.  After coloring, an oval is cropped from the art piece then place back into the negative space using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Two butterflies are cropped using dies from the Brilliant Wings Dies.  They are popped on the card front using Glue Dots.  Three jewels from the 2021-2022 Incolor Jewels are popped around the card front.  The greeting is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink using stamps from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set.  I fussy cut around each word and popped on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from the Pansy Patch Stamp Set is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on the Basic White panel.  Flowers from the Hand Penned Stamp Set are stamped using Tuxedo Memento Black in and then colored.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the plaid DSP from the Hand Penned DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! All For Baby

Stampin’ Up! All For Baby

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! All For Baby Stamp Set along with the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder, Bloom Where You Are Planted SP, and In The Wild DSP.

The CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge is my inspiration for the design.  I rotated the design and created it as landscape instead of portrait.

The card base is Crumb Cake card stock.  A panel of Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP is embossed using the Timber 3-D Embossing Folder. Two lengths of Linen Thread are used to make the clothesline for the baby clothes.  It is adhered on each end using a Mini Glue Dot.  The panel is then adhered to the Crumb Cake base.  The greeting is stamped in Soft Succulent ink on a scrap of Crumb Cake card stock then cropped using one of the Tasteful Label Die.

Two of the onesies are cropped from two different panels of In The Wild DSP.  The third onesie is stamped in Soft Succulent ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock.  The bear is stamped in Crumb Cake ink on a scrap of  Basic White card stock.  After the cropping and stamping, the onesies and bear are popped on the card front so they will appear as if they are hanging on a clothesline..Four clothespins are cropped from Crumb Cake and popped above each item so it will appear as if they are being held with a clothespin.

The inside sentiment panel is a panel of the Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP.  A sentiment from the All For Baby Stamp Set is stamped in Soft Succulent ink onto the panel.  The panel is then popped on the card base.   Wonderful Gems are popped on the card front in various spots.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the plaid DSP from the In The Wild DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Stamp Set and the Meadow Dies.

The inspiration for today’s card comes from the Sunday Stamps Challenge.  My colors are Blackberry Bliss, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Succulent, and Shaded Spruce.  I guess I used them all.

Emboss two panels of Basic White card stock, one using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Before embossing the other, crop flowers from the panel using dies from the Meadow Dies.  Adhere the Tasteful Textile panel to the Basic White card base.  Cut a portion of the Timber Embossed panel giving it the shape it has in the photo. .  Pop this panel over the Tasteful Textile panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Create ink splatter over the panel using Blackberry Bliss ink.

On a panel of Basic White card stock stamp the large bouquet of flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Quite Meadow Stamp Set using Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  Color the flowers using a Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Marker.  Fussy cut the flowers for later use.  Bows are made from Blackberry Bliss Stripe Ribbon and Linen Thread and popped on the bottom of the flowers using a glue dot.

The flowers that were cropped from the Basic White panel before the panel was embossed using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, color using Pumpkin Pie, Blackberry Bliss, Shaded Spruce, Soft Succulent and the Color Lifter Stampin’ Blends Marker.  After coloring pop the flowers back into the negative space.  Pop Mat Black Dots in the center of the Pumpkin Pie and Blackberry Bliss flowers.  Stamp the greeting in Blackberry Bliss ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and crop using a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  Pop in the upper corner using a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration’s Host Set In Your Words is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I really like the sentiments in this stamp set, I am sure I will be using it often.  You can have it free by placing any party or personal order over $300.   Flowers are stamped and colored using a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends Marker.  Ink splatters are put around the flowers.

Strips of Regal and Brights 2021-2023 6″ x 6″ DSP are added to the envelope flap in the colors of the flowers on the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings

Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Wings Dies along with the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! In Your Words Stamp Set. The card is a CAS(E)  of one Mary Deatherage sent me.  I even used her greeting as it so appropriate for this card and I do not have the stamp set it is in.  I need to create five more sympathy cards.  In the past 2-1/2  we have lost six family members and friends.  This card is for our friend who lost his wife and daughter in a plane crash in Alaska last Thursday.  It was an effort getting it made and I hope it will be easier getting the other done.

My inspiration comes from two challenges today, one is the Fusion Card Challenge.  I chose the butterfly on the kitty’s nose.

The other is the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge.  It has butterflies and the colors I used to create the background.

The first thing on the menu was to color a panel of Basic White card stock using Blending Brushes and the following inks: Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Misty Moonlight, Polished Pink,  and Old Olive inks.

I took a panel of Basic White card stock and using the Stampin’ Up! Brilliant Dies cropped three butterflies from the Basic White panel.  Once cropped I popped the negative portion of the panel over the panel of Basic White card stock that I had colored using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The cropped butterflies were then popped back into the negative spaces using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals that I cut in half to fit the solid spots on the butterflies.

The greeting from Mary’s card is popped in the left corner. 2021-2023 In Color Jewels are popped around the card front.  After all this, the butterfly panel is adhered to a Basic White card stock base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Sentiments from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set and the In Your Words Stamp Set are stamped in Old Olive ink on the Basic White panels.  A butterfly is cropped, then popped back to the negative space.

Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Hello There

Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Hello There

Good Thursday morning stampers and non-stampers.  If you aren’t a stamper and happen upon my blog, I hope you enjoy and find the inspiration to create your own card.  Card-making is a calming and inspiring time.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Shaded Summer Stamp Set and the Sale-A-Bration Summer Shadow Dies (available August 3). I like the dies so much, hopefully, they will carry over to the next catalog, but probably not.

My design inspiration for today is from the TGIF challenge.  The color scheme is a CASE of Amy Koenders’ card.  You can see her card here.

I started with a Highland Heather card base, adding a panel of Hand Penned DSP over the card base.  Another panel of the DSP is cut in a triangle, a mat of Basic White is adhered to the panel then adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue over the lower portion of the card front.

Using a flower die from the Summer Shadows Dies three flowers are cropped from Highland Heather card stock.  Using the outline die for the flowers crop three of the outlines.  Crop the main part of the leaves from Mint Macaron card stock.  The out portion of the leaves is cropped using So Succulent card stock.  The flowers parts and the leaf parts are adhered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

After the flowers and leaves are adhered together, they are dry fit on the card front to see how to arrange them.  Once that is done,  a picture is taken so I can remember the arrangement.  The leaves are adhered using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue as are two of the flowers.  The flower in the middle is popped up using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Pastel Pearls are popped in the center of each flower. A label is cropped from a scrap of Basic White card stock using an Ornate Frame Dies.  A greeting from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  The label is popped on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets one of the flower outlines adhered to the corner of the panel.  The panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the same DSP used on the card front applied to the envelope flap.
