Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn — Stack-Slice-Shuffle

Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn — Stack-Slice-Shuffle

This beautiful Fall card I am sharing today was created using Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set and Dies Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper is also used. I like creating Stack-Slice-Shuffle cards. You get to use up all that DSP that you will end up hoarding.

Cut three pieces of Early Espresso cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″.  These are the mats for the Stack – Cut- Shuffle pieces.  Stack the three pieces of Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper.  Look at the photo above to see how the stack is cut.  Come over from the right side about 1-1/4″. Place the piece in the track of the paper trimmer at the 1-1/4″. Swivel the piece so that there is about 3/4″ at the bottom of the piece in the track. Cut down from the 1-1/4″ to the bottom having 3/4″ at the bottom.  See photo.  Look at the photo and see how the other two pieces will be cut.

Lay the pieces out so they are still in a stack as you cut. Place a piece of each design on the Early Espresso cardstock mats.  You can see the three cards this technique can create, looking at the photo above.  Adhere the pieces to the Early Espresso cardstock mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere the Early Espresso pieces to the card bases using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The greetings are from my stash, I do not remember the stamp set, as I usually stamp a bunch of greetings to have on hand.

Stamp the pumpkin and acorn images from Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink.  Color the images using Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Darling Duckling, Pumpkin Pie, and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends.  Die-cut the images using dies from the Amber Autumn Dies.  Pop the pumpkin and leaves from the acorn image on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Stamp Set in Cajun Craze ink on a Basic Beige cardstock panel.  Stamp the pumpkin image using a stamp from the September Fall For Toile Paper Pumpkin.  Adhere the piece to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Adhere a piece of Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Very Vanilla envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Stars At Night

Stampin’ Up! Stars At Night

Thankgiving and Black Friday are now in the books.  Now it’s time for Cyber Monday!  I’ve already seen some great buys for tomorrow or today.

This is a real easy card.   It is a fun fold.  I do not know what it is called.  Someone gave me the card bases, so I will call it a gate fold with a top flap.  I used Stampin’ Up! Stars At Night stamp set and Dies along with O Holy Night Designer Series Paper.

I am entering the As You See It Challenge as their theme for this Challenge is Christmas.

The card bases is Night of Navy card stock with O Holy Night Designer Series Paper added to the card front after being matted on Basic white card stock.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Stars At Night is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a piece of Basic White card stock.  I do not know the name of the die used to die cut the top portion of the card that creates the card flap as it was already cut when the bases were given to me. To get the white piece,  I traced the flap on Basic White card stock and fussy cut, so it may not be as perfect as it would be if a die had been used.  I added Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels on the stars but they do not show up very well.  I added one Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the greeting that is colored with a Night of Navy Stamping Blends Marker.

A sentiment from the same stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel.  A piece of O Holy Night Designer Series Paper is added to the side of the sentiment.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of O Holy Night Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

The person who gave me the card bases said this was Lisa Curcio’s design but  I could find it on her blog or YouTube to give the link for it.

Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Floral

Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Floral

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Floral stamp set.  I also used a polka dot embossing folder, long tired.

My inspiration for today’s card comes from the color in the mood board and the flowers in this week’s Just Us Girls Challenge challengeJust Us Girls Challenge.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base with a piece of Basic White card stock embossed partially using a polka dot embossing folder.  The embossed panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Using stamps from Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp set, I stamped three flowers in Polished Pink,  Highland Heather, and Gorgeous Grape ink and cropped using a die from the Two-Tone Flora Dies.  I stamped in the leaves in Shaded Spruce ink on a piece of Mint Macaron card stock and again using dies from Two-Tone Flora Dies I cropped them.

I embossed a strip of Gorgeous Grape card stock using the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder.  I then adhered the strip over the Basic White embossed panel at the halfway point between the plain and the embossed.  Over this Gorgeous Grape strip, I popped the flowers and leaves.  Several Iridescent Sequins are popped around the card front.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set is stamped in Versa Mark on a Gorgeous Grape strip, sprinkled with Basic White Embossing Powder, and heat set using a heat tool.

I stamped a flower & leaves from Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Floral stamp set in Polish Pink and Shaded Spruce ink on a Basic White card stock panel.  I adhered this panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White envelope gets a flower from Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp set stamped in Polished Pink ink to the envelope flap.

I finally had to bite the bullet as former Governor Zell Miller used to say here in Georgia.  My computer crossed over that cyber bridge and is no more so I had to buy a new one. It will not turn on and the Geek Squad could not repair it.   To me that is traumatic, I had the other one for so long and was used to using it. I’ve spent the past week trying to get it all set up and never realized how many apps you have that you depend on.  Writing this blog, I had to stop and download several apps that I use in writing my blog. I  believe we take too much for granted when using a computer.  I am hoping this one will be sufficient for the task.

Free As A Bird

Free As A Bird

I just love this Designer Series Paper and stamp set.  It will be available to customers June 4.  It is the magnificent Free As A Bird stamp set and Bird Ballad DSP.  Don’t you just love, love, love it?

The sketch for my card is from the   Case This Sketch Challenge

And…  Watercooler Wednesday’s Kath’s “All About Occasions” Challenge.

The birds on this turned out so good.  Don’t you think they look like they are chatting and the one looks like he is crowding in so he can say something?  The card base is Calypso Coral and the mat for the panel of feathers that became the focal panel is Basic Black.

A one-inch strip of Basic Black card stock is also adhered across the bottom of the feather panel.  This is used as a base for all the birds fussy cut from a panel of Bird Ballad DSP.  The birds were arranged in the order you see and then popped on with Glue Dots.  I found it easier to arrange first and then glue so I would not have to be trying to pull a Glue Dot loose.

Two lengths of Linen Thread are wrapped around the feather panel and tied in a bow.  The greeting from the Free As A Bird stamp set is stamped in Calypso Coral in on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and then punched out using the Tailored Tag Punch (retiring June 3).  The greeting is popped over the Linen Thread using Stampin Dimensionals.  Three Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins are popped in several spots on the card front.

The sentiment is stamped in Calypso Coral ink on a panel of Whisper White that has a Basic Black mat.  A bird from the fussy cut batch I cut out is adhered in the right corner using Glue Dots.

An envelope flap is covered with the feather panel from the Bird Ballad DSP so you will have a matching envelope for your card.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you liked my card and that you can find encouragement and inspiration for your own creations.  Have a blessed day!

A Little Lace 2

A Little Lace 2

This is so easy to create.  I CASEd this A Little Lace card from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, page 42.  After making this card I decided that it really isn’t me, but it was easy to create and is a cute card just a bit plain for me and would be great for a beginning stamper.

The sketch design is from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

This is practically a one layer card.  There is only the card base and the one lacy panel from the Stitched Lace Dies.  The greeting from A Little Lace stamp set is stamped in Versa Mark and then heat embossed using White Stampin’ Embossing Powder.

The three red hearts are from the A Little Lace stamp set and is stamped in Real Red ink on scraps of Real Red card stock and then fussy cut.  I cut three hearts for each set to give them a bit of dimension.  A length of Linen Thread has been laced through the holes in the lace panel and then the red hearts are popped over each spot.  The thread is then wrapped around the panel twice and tied in a bow.  Three Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped in three different spots on the panel.

A heart is stamped in Real Red ink on the envelope flap and on the card front.

The inside sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set is stamped in Tranquil Tide Ink on a panel of Whisper White.  Three Real Red hearts have been stamped on the panel also.  The panel is then adhered to the card base using Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you give this stamp set a try.  I really like the lace die, you will probably see it on other cards.  Have a blessed day!
