Stampin’ Up! Branching Out Fun Fold Easel

Stampin’ Up! Branching Out Fun Fold Easel

The card I am sharing today is a CASe of one Mary Deatherage created a few days ago.  I love fun folds and this is an easy double easel card.  You can see Mary’s video by clicking on her name.   She gives great instruction for creating.

Card Cuts

  • Secret Sea cardstock
    • card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″  score at 5-1/2″
  • Cherry Cobbler cardstock
    • double easel piece — 4″ x 10-1/4″ score at 5-1/4″ and 7-3/4″
    • mat for art piece easel front — use next to largest Branching Out Dies to create mat
  • Crumb Cake cardstock
    • art piece easel front — use 3rd largest Branching Out Dies to create mat
    • inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Elegant Pines Snowflakes Designer Series Paper
    • background panel — 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
    • smaller panels at bottom of double easel — 2-3/8″ x 3-7/8″  Cut 2
  • Pecan Pie cardstock — cut one bough
  • Shaded Spruce cardstock — cut one bough
  • Gold Foil — die cut 6 pinecones

I used Secret Sea, Cherry Cobbler, and Crumb Cake cardstock along with Elegant Pine Snowflake Designer Series PaperStampin’ Up! Branching Out Stamp Set and Dies were used.

Cut a piece of Secret Sea cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″. Score at  5-1/2″.  This is the card base.  Cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock 4″ x 10-1/4″.  Score at 5-1/4″ and 7-3/4″.  This creates the double easel.

Cut all the remaining pieces of cardstock and designer series paper according to the card cuts given above. Adhere the Elegant Pine Snowflake Designer Series Paper to the Cherry Cobbler cardstock double easel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Die cut the pine boughs and pine cones. Die cut the Cherry Cobbler mat and the Crumb Cake art piece using the 2nd and 3rd dies from Branching Out Dies.  Emboss the Crumb Cake cardstock piece using Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere the embossed piece to the Cherry Cobbler piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere the pine boughs and pines cones to the Crumb Cake piece.

From the Black & White & Gold Baker’s Twine, tie a black bow.  Adhere the bow to the top of the pine boughs using a Glue Dot.  Stamp a greeting using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Bloomin’ Phrases Stamp Set.  Fussy cut and pop on the art piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Crumb Cake stamp the branch in Pecan Pie ink,  stamp the pine boughs in Shaded Spruce ink and stamp the pine cones in Pecan Pie ink.  Stamp sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Branching Out Stamp Set in Pecan Pie ink. Adhere to the Secret Sea card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stamp pine boughs on the envelope front and on the envelope flap using stamps from Stampin’ Up! Branching Out Stamp Set.

I am happy you stopped by today.  I hope you take the time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards, and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my creations with you each day. I hope and wish you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Have a blessed day!

  • Ready to Join our team?  Click HERE  for more information. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is to pre-order before a new catalog launches, and the Online Exclusives we get to order before they are released to customers.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card-making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card-making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.

Being a part of the Stampin’ Up! Community is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.  Are you new to papercrafting and cardmaking and don’t know where to start, but would like to join to save?  As I said earlier in this post, I’m here to assist you in any way I can.  Ask me!

Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding

Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding

This is the card I made for our grandson’s wedding a few weeks ago.  I just haven’t gotten around to posting it.  This Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding Stamp Set and Dies are compliments of Amy Koenders.

As you can see, this is a fun fold.

Card Cuts:

  • Basic White cardstock
    • card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
    • embossed panels (2) 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
    • car — 4-1/4′ x 5-1/2″
  • Pretty In Pink cardstock
    • scrap for hearts
  • Silver Foil
    • bumper, back window frame, tail lights, & trunk latch
  1. Using Smoky Slate ink, stamp the car image on a piece of Basic White cardstock.
  2. Stamp the greeting on a piece of Basic White cardstock, then die cut using a die from Classic Wedding Dies.
  3. Color the tires using Basic Gray Stampin’ Blends.
  4. Using Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends, color the car.
  5. Die-cut all the pieces shown on the card using dies from Classic Wedding Dies.
  6. Emboss the two Basic White panels using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
  7. Adhere with Multipurpose Glue the two embossed panels, one on the card front, the other on the inside of the card.
  8. Pop the card on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  9. Adhere all the little pieces you see on the card front to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  10. Using a black felt pen, draw the tire tracks behind the wheels.

Since it has been over a month since I made this card, I do not remember the Stamp Set for the greeting.  The one that is at the bottom for the stop for the card when it is made into an easel is from Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding Stamp Set.  Hearts are adhered down each side of the card.

The flap of a Basic White envelope gets embossed using Glass and Garden 3D Embossing Folder.

Stampin’ Up! Night Divine

Stampin’ Up! Night Divine

I am sharing another card today made using O Holy Night Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Night Divine stamp set and Night Divine Dies.  Like I said in my last post, I love this Designer Series Paper.

I am entering Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge.

The card base is Night of Navy card stock with a panel of Basic White added to create a mat for the O Holy Night Designer Series Paper that becomes the background for the card.  The Holy Family scene is die cut from Crumb Cake card stock using a die from Night Divine Dies.  The sheep is die cut from a scrap of Basic White card stock.

Wink of Stella is brushed on the family, but doesn’t show very well in the picture.

A  star is die cut from Basic White card stock using a die from Stars at Night Dies.  It is popped on the card front and a star from Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets is applied to the middle of the star.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Night Divine stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy on a piece of Basic White card stock, fussy cut and popped on the cared using Stampin; Dimensionals. Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Night Divine stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. A strip of Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper is adhered to the bottom of the panel.  A star from Adhesive Backed Stars Trinkets is popped by the sentiment.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of O Holy Night Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using  Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
