Dragonfly Dreams
Here it is a cold weekend and I thought Spring had sprung, but guess there must be more days of cold. Have a great weekend anyway! I really used a lot of stamp sets on the creation of this card. Hello Cupcake, Beautiful Bouquet, Itty Bitty Greetings stamp sets and the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies.

These are my challenges for the week:

Different jewels were adhered to each dragonfly to give them a bit of Bling! The Happy Birthday is stamped in Soft Suede on a small scrap and then cropped to a small size to fit the space it is adhered. The card front is finished.

Basic Black Card Stock — 4″ x 5-1/4″ mat for card front and 1″ strips on card front– 4″ x 5-1/4″ mat for inside sentiment panel

A panel of Very Vanilla sponged with the Pool Party ink is cut and adhered at an angle over the Pear Pizzazz panel. Flower stems in Pear Pizzazz and flowers in Rich Razzleberry have been cut using the Well Said stamp set. These are adhered to the Very Vanilla panel using Liquid Glue in various spots. The flowers have a pearl from the Basic Pearl Jewels adhered to their center.
The word “Heartfelt” is stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink in the upper left corner. The word “sympathy has been cut using the sympathy die in the Well Written Framelits Dies. I cut four so the word would have dimension. I also used an Adhesive Backed Sheet when cutting so that adhering them together would be easier.

A jar was cut from Vellum card stock using the Everyday Jar Framelits. A length of Linen Thread was wrapped three times around the neck of the jar and tied in a bow.
A doily from the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies was cut from a panel of Whisper White card stock. It was adhered to the Pool Party card base using Liquid Glue.
I stamped the stems twice for each stem to make sure they were long enough for the jar and still be able to adhere the flower heads to them using Stampin’ Dimensionals cut in two pieces. The stems were adhered using Glue Dots and the flower heads were adhered using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three pears from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls package are scattered to various spots on the card front.

My card starts with a Poppy Parade card stock base. The card front is embossed using the Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF). This is a rather easy card. I cut the flowers from a panel of the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (DSP).
The strip down the left side is also cut from the reverse side of the flower panel. A tiny border of Call Me Clover card stock is added between the strip of maze DSP and the flowers. A vertical greeting is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink in the center of the maze strip.
A flower is cut from the DSP and popped on the flower at the bottom of the panel of flowers. Several Basic Adhesive-Back Sequins are scattered over the Poppy Parade card base.
The inside sentiment panel is stamped in Grapefruit Grove and Call Me Clover ink with a flower from the Painted Seasons stamp set. A sequin is added to the center of the flower. The sentiment comes from the stamp set Humming Along and is stamped in Call Me Clover. The panel is trimmed on the right and left sides with a small strip of the maze DSP which is the reverse side of the flowers used on the front.
