Lasting Lily

I am using the Lasting Lily stamp bundle. This is a Sale-A-Bration item or I should say items because the stamp set is free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration and the Framelits Dies are free with a $100 purchase.

I am playing along with three challenges The Flower Challenge #29 – Use Your latest Stamps and Dies.

And…

The Watercooler Challenges – WWC208 – Charlotte’s “All About Occasions” Challenge.

And…

The Freshly Made Sketches 375

Start with a Whisper White card base.
Add a panel of Gorgeous Grape card stock embossed using the Subtle Textured Impression Embossing Folder (TIEF)
Run a panel of Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot using one of the dies from the Dear Doily stamp bundle.
Add the doily to the Gorgeous Grape panel.
Stamp your lilies from the Lasting Lily stamp set in Highland Heather ink and Garden Green ink for the leaves and stem.
Fussy cut the lilies out and pop over the doily using Stampin Dimensionals. There are dies that you can use to cut the lilies but I forgot and stamped the stem and leaves before I remembered they are cut out separately.
Add a Polka Dot Tulle Bow adhered with a Glue Dot.
Add three Pearl Basic Jewels scattered over the card front.
Stamp the greeting in Gorgeous Grape ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and cut out.
Pop the greeting on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The inside sentiment is from the Humming Along stamp set and stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.
Two lilies from the Lasting Lily stamp set are stamped in Gorgeous Grape and Garden Green ink.
Gorgeous Grape card stock is used as the mat for the sentiment panel.

Well Said with All My Love and Butterfly Gala

My card today focuses on the stamp sets, Butterfly Gala and Part of My Story. I have also used All My Love Designer Specialty Paper (DSP).

The inspiration and design for my card come from the TGIF Challenge, thank you TGIF for showcasing all the beautiful Designer Specialty Paper. I am also playing along at Sunday Stamps. The colors for Sundays Stamps are gorgeous and I was happy to find the challenge appeared in my inbox before I got this posted so that I could include it.

The card base is Lovely Lipstick.

Two 1-7/8″ x 3-1/8″ panels from the All My Love DSP
are cut using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies They are adhered to the red DSP panel using Liquid Glue

Happy cold Saturday! Hope you have had a fantastic day in spite of the cold. I spent my day at a ballet performance for my granddaughter. She had one of the lead parts and I almost missed it. Simply forgot it until my son called, “Mom you do remember today is Hannah’s performance.” I would have been a bad Gran if that had happened. I was off making cards, so had to rush to get there.

Really, really simple easy card for today. Directions will be really short as it is so simple. There is the card base and mat which are Coastal Cabana and the main mat which is a panel from the Brights 6’ x 6” Designer Series Paper. The smaller mat for the doily is from the How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper. The mats are embossed using the Subtle TIEF. The doily is cut using a die from the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies. The doily is cut and the inside white space is stamped with the greeting and then placed back in the center of the doily it was taken from. All the layers are adhered using Liquid Glue. A bow is made using Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine. Three Glitter Enamel Dots in various sizes are adhered to the Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo striped panel, two are placed on the doily. That’s the front finished.

The inside panel is stamped with a doily in Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo that has been stamped off first and then stamped on the panel. The sentiment is then stamped over the doily in Memento Black ink.
