Yesterday was a beautiful sunshiny and hot day–81 degrees here and it is only February. Does that mean we have a very hot sultry summer that will make us housebound for the coolness of the air conditioner?

My card is created using the Ribbon of Courage stamp set (annual catalog) and the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 2019 Occasions catalog. The Poppy Parade flowers on the art piece are from the Wonderful Romance stamp set ( 2019 Occasions catalog.

My inspiration and design comes from the As You See It Challenge #193.

Tuesday Morning Sketches

My card base is Night of Navy card stock with a Balmy Blue card stock mat. The three focal panels are from the Needlepoint Nook DSP.

The art piece with the greeting from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set is stamped in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut out using the Layering Circle Framelits Dies.

The art piece is adhered using Liquid Glue to a Balmy Blue mat that has also been cut using the Layering Circle Framelits Dies.

The mat is then popped in the center of the focal panel using Stampin Dimensionals. A few lengths of Whisper White Twine is wrapped around this panel and tied in a bow. A few sequins from the Gingham Gala sequins are scattered around the card front and added to the center of the two Poppy Parade flowers.

That’s it for the card front now on to the inside sentiment.

The sentiment from the 2019 Sale-A Bration catalog Home to Roost stamp set (FREE with $50 purchase) is stamped in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock that is matted on a panel of Balmy Blue card stock.

My card today is created using the Forever Lovely stamp set, the Well Said stamp bundle and All My Love DSP.

The card base is Whisper White card stock with a focal panel cut from the All My Love DSP. The hearts are cut using one of the heart dies from the Be Mine Framelits Dies. The word love is cut using a die from the Well Said stamp bundle. Several sequins are scattered over the card front.

The inside sentiment from the Forever Lovely stamp set is stamped in Lovely Lipstick on a panel of Whisper White card stock. The Lovely Lipstick hearts are from the Forever Lovely stamp set also.

You’re Invited!!!

It’s our first ever (but probably not our last!!) Inkin’ Krew Facebook Live Event!!

Introducing the…

As the flyer states – we’re going to hold a Two-Day Facebook Live event to introduce y’all to the benefits of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!

Throughout the weekend, we’ll have 4 facebook live presentations scheduled (one from Mary Deatherage , one from Amy Koenders, one from Sue Prather and one from Jaimie Babarczy) where they will talk about the Starter Kit offer, the benefits of being a Demonstrator, the specifics about how to join and why now is a SUPER time to join our team! In between will be some games – a few fun videos about being a part of the Stampin’ Up! family and plenty of time to ask questions!

All My Love with Part of My Story

Guess everyone watched the Super Bowl! Did your team win?

My card today uses the Part of My Story and Forever Lovely stamp sets along with the All My Love Designer Series Paper (DSP)

The House that Stamps Built is where my design comes from today. I decided to play their challenge.

Crumb cake card stock is the card base with a Balmy Blue card stock mat that is embossed with the Subtle TIEF.
The three long panels are cut from the All My Love Designer Series Paper (DSP)
The mat for the three long panels is Crumb Cake.
The All My Love panels are adhered to the Crumb Cake mats using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
The panels are then adhered to the Balmy Blue mat using Liquid Glue.
The Balmy Blue mat is popped on the Crumb Cake base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The focal circle is cut from Crumb Cake card stock using a Layering Circle Framelits Dies
The greeting from the Forever Lovely stamp set is stamped in Lovely Lipstick Ink. The greeting has been masked so that only part of the greeting is stamped on the circle with the remaining word “forever” being stamped in Lovely Lipstick on the Balmy Blue mat. The word “forever” looks like it has been stamped in Fresh Fig ink instead of Lovely Lipstick.
The two intertwined hearts are cut from All My Love DSP using the heart die from the Sunshine Wishes Framelits Dies
The hearts are popped and glued over the Crumb Cake circle.
Several Pearl Basic Jewels that have been colored with a Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Write Marker are scattered over the front of the card. This finishes the card front.
The inside sentiment from the stamp set Part of My Story is stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.
The art is from the stamp set Forever Lovely and is stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink also.

Stampin’ Up! Lasting Lily

Today is the day we get additional products for the Occasions catalog and additional products for Sale-A-Bration. WOW! WooHoo! YaH! Aren’t we all excited?

I have a young friend being married soon and her colors are black and white. Her bridesmaids are carrying three black lilies, so when I saw this stamp set, I knew I just had to make her a card with lilies. But…then along comes a card challenge that is black and …how perfect can it get.

The Freshly Made Sketches is perfect for this challenge.

The card base is Basic Black card stock

The mat is Whisper White card stock that has been embossed using the Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF).

The diagonal strips are cut from Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (DSP). The strips are adhered to the Whisper White mat using Liquid Glue.

The art piece is stamped with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White. This stamp is a Dist-INK-tive stamp. Basic Black card stock is used as a mat for the art piece. (Info about this stamp:

The stamps made with is distinktive process lay down the ink at different opacities giving the finished image more depth. The greeting is from the Best Birds stamp set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a small panel of Whisper White. It is adhered with Liquid Glue across the bottom of the art piece. Several Pearl Basic Jewels are scattered around the front of the Whisper White mat and the art panel. Everything has been added to the Whisper White mat so it can now be popped on the card base using Stampin Dimensionals.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White. A lily is stamped in the lower right corner. This card looks beautiful in person but it doesn’t look to great to me once it has been photographed.
