Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas

My card today is created using the Toile Christmas Stamp Set, soon to be retired, and the Etched in Nature Stamp Set, in the new catalog going live for customers, May 4. The bird was a challenge to stamp, but finally success.
My design inspiration comes from two challenges today. The first is Just Add Ink. The challenge is to Just Choose Two – Feathers- Leaves- Petals.
The other is Inspire. Create Challenge # 088. The challenge is to create a project using this fabulous card from Jo Blackman as your inspiration.

My card starts with a Soft Suede card stock base with a mat of Real Red card stock for the art piece. They are adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of In Good Taste DSP is cut and an image from the Toile Christmas stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and then colored using Real Red, Granny Apple Green, and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The bird is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the bird & branch using Balmy Blue and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Markers. I then fussy cut the bird and popped it over the berry-filled branches using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. A ladybug from Ladybug Trinkets is popped on the card front. The greeting from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set, soon to be retired, is stamped in Soft Suede ink on the corner of the card front.

The Basic White card stock sentiment panel is left blank except for the berry branch from the Toile Christmas Stamp Set. It is colored in the same colors as the ones on the card front.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the In Good Taste DSP added to the flap.
If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

My card today is created by using a soon to be a retired stamp set, Little Twinkle. It was an easy card to make and would be great for a beginning stamper.

Three circles are cut using the Layering Circle Dies, one a bit larger than the next to make a border for the first circle that is cut from a panel of the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP. The Petal Pink circle has the greeting stamped in Night of Navy ink.
A length of Whisper White ribbon is wrapped around the Night of Navy star panel before the circles are popped over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Several silver stars are scattered around the card front and they may not show up too well.

My card is created from the Let it Ride stamp set. I am so happy this stamp set is carrying over.
The card base is Cajun Craze card stock with a mat from the Wood Texture 6″ x 6″ DSP (retiring June 3) here’s hoping that it will return in a later catalog because of so many people like using it. A panel of Crumb Cake is embossed using the Pinewood Plank Embossing. Folder and I am so happy it will be returning in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. It is adhered using Liquid Glue.
A 1-1/2″ strip from the Wood Texture DSP is cut and the art image is stamped on it. The image is from the Let It Ride stamp set. The horses are stamped in Early Espresso ink and the trees in Mossy Meadow ink. This strip is then matted on a dark panel from the Wood Texture DSP and Old Olive Linen Thread is wrapped around the panel. This is popped onto the Pinewood Plank panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a Very Vanilla circle that has been cut using the Layering Stitched Circle Dies. The Very Vanilla Circle has been matted on a small scrap of Wood Texture DSP that the larger circle is cut.
The inside sentiment from the Humming Along stamp set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a Very Vanilla panel of card stock. The trees in the corner are from the Let It Ride stamp set and are stamped in Mossy Meadow ink that has been stamped off once. The panel is adhered to the card base using Liquid Glue.

This is a sheet of vellum with magnolias on it. I fussy cut them all to make the oval, I guess you would call it, although the label with the Thinking of You stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink is from the new Stitched Nested Label Dies (available June 4) and they are not oval.

of one of the new DSP’s from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. This card is made using the beautiful DSP Bird Ballad.

Several Adhesive Backed Sequins were scattered over the art panel. I then made a matching envelope, decorating the flap and adding a bird to the front.
