Here is a sneak peek of the Perennial Essence DSP. I think I am going to love, love, love it. But… every time I use one of the new Designer Series Paper, I end up saying I love it. Guess I just love them all.

My sketch design is based on the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #321. I alter it a bit an put the triangles more in the middle.

My card is created using the Perennial Essence DSP and the Floral Essence stamp set.

Card Front

Card Base — Blackberry Bliss.
Balmy Blue card stock panel for a mat for Perennial Essence DSP. Adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A Perennial Essence DSP panel cut for the focal panel.
Mossy Meadow card stock mat for the Balmy Blue card stock triangles.
A scrap of Balmy Blue card stock for greeting from the Best Catch stamp set.
Greeting stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.
Butterflies cut from Perennial Essence DSP and Blackberry Bliss card stock using dies from the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies.
Blackberry Bliss butterfly is popped over the Perennial Essence butterfly with a Glue Dot.
Three Pearl Basic Jewel added to the card front.

Inside:

Balmy Blue card stock for a mat for the Whisper White sentiment panel.
A sentiment from Floral Essence stamp set is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.
A panel from the Perennial Essence DSP featuring a lovely flower is cut and added to the sentiment panel.
All panels are adhered using Liquid Glue.

The envelope gets some of the Perennial Essence DSP added to the flap.

Sunday Stamps Challenge 202

It is a Whisper White card base with three panels of three different DSP that was from the just gone by Sale-A-Bration. As you can see if you go to each card challenge there are many papers that can be used to create the design and many stamp designs to use to create the black and white challenge. I love black and white and could create more cards but I believe one entry is the limit for the challenge.

The Tailored Tag Punch is used to create the label for the greeting. The Whisper White one is trimmed to allow the Basic Black card stock to show around. Three black and white butterflies are cut from a scrap of the Botanical Butterfly DSP that is a just gone by Sale-A-Bration item. Three sequins from the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins are colored with the Dark Black Stampin’ Blends Pen and scattered around the label.

The inside sentiment from the Humming Along stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White. A butterfly from the Beauty Abound stamp set is stamped several times on the sentiment panel without re-inking the stamp.

Dandelion Wishes Loves Botanical Butterfly

My card today is a sympathy card and the stamp set is Dandelion Wishes. Even after a loved one is gone, the love they leave behind blows around us like the wind blowing the dandelions no matter the length of time.

My inspiration for the card sketch layout is from CAS(E) This Sketch.

This card is really easy to make but it may look otherwise with all the steps listed. Here are the steps for creating this card:

Whisper White card stock – card base- 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
Basic Black card stock – mat for Lemon Lime Green Botanical Butterfly DSP – 4-1/8″ x 5-1/8″
Adhere mat to card base with Liquid Glue.
Lemon Lime Green Botanical Butterfly DSP – 4″ x 5″.
Adhere to Basic Black mat using Liquid Glue.
Basic Black card stock – Cut two panels 1-5/8″ x 4″. Mats for butterfly panels.
Botanical Butterfly DSP – Cut two panels 1-1 2” x 3-7/8″. Adhere to Basic Black mat using Liquid Glue.
Adhere these 2 panels to the Lemon Lime Green card front.
Basic Black panel – mat for greeting – cut 1″ x 3-1/8″.
Whisper White panel – greeting panel – cut 7/8″ x 3″
Using Memento Black Ink stamp on a Whisper White panel with stamp from Better Together stamp set. Also, stamp the dandelions blowing from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set.
Adhere this greeting panel to the Basic Black mat panel using Liquid Glue.
Pop the greeting panel over the two butterfly panels on the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere a green heart to the left lower corner of the card front.
Basic Black card stock – cut a panel 4″ x 5-1/4″ mat for sentiment panel.
Whisper White card stock – cut a panel 3-3/4″ x 5″.
Using Memento Black Ink stamp the sentiment using a stamp from the August 2018 Paper Pumpkin stamp set.
Using Lemon Lime ink stamp the dandelions from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set on the sentiment panel.
Adhere the sentiment panel to the Basic Black card stock panel using Liquid Glue.
Adhere these two panels to the inside of the Whisper White card stock.
