Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Hexagon — Thinking Of You

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp Set, Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set, and Nest Of Winter Designer Series Paper.

Card Cuts

Real Red cardstock
card base — 5-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ score at 2-1/2″
flap — 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ score 1/2″ on one end
inside frame — 2″ x 3″ die cut
Nest Of Winter Designer Series Paper
front panel — 2″ x 5-1/4″
inside panel — 3-3/4″ x 5-1/4″
birds

Fold and burnish the card base at 2-1/2″. Layer the designer series paper over the left side of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Fold and burnish the flap after embossing using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. The fold of the flap adheres to the back of the Nest Of Winter Designer Series Paper piece before you adhere it to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Glue. Fussy cut birds from the Nest of Winter Designer Series Paper adhering over the flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock. Fussy cut the greeting, adhering over Linen Thread using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Pop gems from Tinsel Gems Three Pack around the card front.

Die cut a label from Real Red using a die from Unbounded Love Dies. On a scrap of Basic White cardstock stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp Set using Memento Black ink to stamp. Using a die from Unbounded Love Dies, die cut the sentiment and adhered over the Real Red label. Fussy cut a bird from Nest Of Winter Designer Series Paper, adhering to the left inside panel.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of Nest Of Winter Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky Stamp Set and Dies. This card is a CAS of one Dawn Griffith made. Click on her name and you can see her video. Her instructions are much better than what I can write out.

Card Cuts

Night Of Navy cardstock
- card base — 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ — make a pencil mark at 1-1/4″ & 2″ on both sides
- front layers — 3″ x 3-3/8″
Basic White cardstock
- inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
- square on card front – 4-3/4″ x 4-3/4″ die cut using Stylish Shape Dies
- airplane & clouds — 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ you can use scraps for clouds
- greeting — 2″ x 2″ for die cutting circle
Smoky Slate cardstock
- scrap for die cutting propeller
Real Red cardstock
- scrap for die cutting banner
Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper
- background panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″ cut upper corner off, see photo for how it is cut

Adhere layers of the card as they appear in the above photo. The clouds are stamped in Misty Moonlight, the plane in Smoky Slate, then colored using Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. A banner is die cut from Real Red cardstock using a die from Stylish Shapes. It is adhered behind the Basic White piece that has the airplane.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky Stamp Set is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. An airplane and cloud image are stamped in Misty Moonlight ink also.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees –love & joy

Good Day everyone. I have a new computer so if the layout of my blog doesn’t look right that’s the reason, I thought I would give a bit of a warning about it. Frustrating!

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees Stamp Set for the greeting and sentiment. The main part of the card is little pieces of strips of paper left over from other cards that I cut into smaller pieces.

Card Cuts:

Garden Green cardstock
- card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
Granny Apple Green cardstock
- mat — 4″ x 5-1/4″
Basic White cardstock
- mat for mosaic
- inside piece — 4″ x 5-1/4″

The Basic White cardstock piece has a piece of Adhesive Sheet adhered to the base. This is where the mosaic pieces will be adhered. After you have adhered the pieces, sprinkle Gold Embossing Powder over the surface of the pieces, then heat emboss.

Adhere the mosaic piece over the Granny Green cardstock piece then adhere the Granny Apple piece to the card base. Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees Stamp Set using Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, fussy cut then adhering to a piece of Real Red cardstock and fussy cutting. Add the greeting to the lower corner of the mosaic piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees Stamp Set is stamped on a panel of Basic White cardstock and leftover strips from the mosaic panel are added to the top and bottom corners.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of 2023-2025 Regal 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves — Thinking Of You

This is another alternative for the September 2024 Paper Pumpkin. Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set are used in the creation.

The card base is Wild Wheat cardstock with a panel of the same embossed using Timber 3D Embossing Folder. The embossed piece is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On apiece of Cajun Craze cardstock use a stamp that is sprigs and twigs, Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Stamp Set has good ones. I used one from the September Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set. Adhere the piece to the leafy Fall designer series paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere to the Wild Wheat cardstock card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Emboss a strip of Cajun Craze cardstock with the same embossing folder used to emboss the Wild Wheat piece. On a scrap of Wild Wheat cardstock, stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set. Fussy cut the greeting adhering to the center of the Cajun Craze embossed strip. Place a few strands of Crumb Cake twine behind the greeting with a Glue Dot. Using several elements from the September Paper Pumpkin Kit, place them around the circle opening. Pop several gems from Opal Rounds Assortment around the front of the card.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Stamp Set and a sentiment from September Paper Pumpkin is stamped in Wild Wheat ink on a Very Vanilla cardstock panel. Leaves and snails are stamped at the bottom of the panel. The leaves are stamped in Wild Wheat and Cajun Craze ink while the snails are stamped in Crumb Cake and Calypso Coral ink. Crumb Cake is brushed at the bottom to give the appearance as if the leaves and snails are on the ground.

A Very Vanilla envelope gets a panel of 2023-2025 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop October 2024

Welcome! It that time, the 2nd Tuesday of the month you have been waiting for with excitement, a fun team blog hop from Amy’s Inkin’ Krew. The theme for this month is “Giving Thanks”. You are in for a treat seeing all the talent these ladies present to you. Sit back with your favorite beverage and enjoy. You will see cards that will inspire you to get creative as you jump from blog to blog.

The card I am sharing today is a semi-fun fold I suppose as it has a flap on the front. This is a fun card with the rosette on the front. I used Stampin’ Up! Round We Go Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set, and Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Stamp Set, (this set is a $1,000,000 set as it is the set my upline Amy Koenders designed when she hit the $1,000,000). It will be added to my $1,000,000 collection.

Very Vanilla cardstock
- inside sentiment — 1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″
- embossed flap — 3/4″ x 3″

Start with a card base of Pecan Pie cardstock. Adhere a panel of Pecan Pie from the Neutral 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to the Copper Foil cardstock using adhesive of choice. If you use Multipurpose Liquid Glue be sure not to get on your fingers so it will stick to the foil. It is a pain to remove the glue from the foil. Adhere the rosettes to the card front and to the flap.

Adhere Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the tab of the flap and then adhere the flap to the back of the bronze foil, and finally to the front of the card base. Before adding the flap to the Copper Foil, adhere the mat and embossed piece to the front of it. Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set in Night Of Navy ink on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Adhere to the inside of the flap so it will not be seen until the flap is lifted.

A Very Vanilla envelope gets a panel of Pecan Pie from the Neutral 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
