Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet Notes of Nature — Just A Note!

Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet Notes of Nature — Just A Note!

This card today that I am sharing is a CAS of one on page 43 of the new Jan. – April 2024 Mini Catalog.  I did add a bit more than in the catalog.   I do not think a picture shows the real beauty of this card.  I really was just creating and not looking very well when I was creating this card, I was amazed at how it looked once I saw the finished card.  I used Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set and Notes of Nature Dies along with a die from Lovely & Sweet Dies.

The card in the catalog is not a fun fold but I created this as a landscape easel card.

The card base is Pebble Path card stock with another panel of Pebble Path used as the background panel.  The panel is stamped with dots using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set.  Using the vine stamp to die cut several vines from Pebble Path card stock.  Once they were adhered to the Pebble Path panel, I thought it gave the panel the look of being embossed.  An extra vine is used as the stop for the easel.

Most of the dies from Notes of Nature Dies along with one from Lovely & Sweet Dies is die cut from Basic Black card stock.  The flowers are die cut from a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper.  They do not show up very well in the picture. Two different patterns from Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper is cut. One of them is die cut using a die from Notes of Nature Dies.  A length of Gold Faux Leather Trim is laced through the holes on the die cut piece and a know tied on each end of the trim.  A greeting is stamped in Versa Mark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat embossed.  The piece is die cut using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  All the element have been created so it is time to put the card together.  All the pieces are arranged as you see in the photo above.  Adhesives used were Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A different pattern of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper is used for the inside panel.  A sentiment is stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock in Pebble Path ink. A small flower from Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet stamp set is stamped on the corner of the sentiment piece. The piece is adhered at the top of the designer series paper allowing the easel to open without showing the sentiment.  One of the Pebble Path vines is used to create the stop for the ease.

A piece of Basic White card stock is adhered on the back of the easel for additional notes.  A clump of Basic Black leaves are adhered in the corner.

A Basic White medium envelope get a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow — Thinking of Your

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow — Thinking of Your

I am again using the stack, cut, shuffle technique with Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set and  Meadow Dies.  It made a bright and cheery card.

Flowers are die cut using Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper and Meadow Dies.  I believe the white sprig with berries is from Magical Meadow Dies.  The greeting is stamped on a scrap of Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper using Versa Mark ink and White embossing powder.  It is then die cut using a die from Meadow Dies.  The greeting is popped over the loops of Basic White twine from Basic Twine Essential Pack using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The gems are Calypso Coral ones from a card that was part of a Paper Share sometime ago.  Click on this link and you can see Mary Deatherage’s layout for cutting the stack, cut, shuffle pieces.

After the pieces are cut, use Lost Lagoon card stock as the mat to adhere the pieces.  A tiny border is left between the pieces and the edge.  After all the piece are adhered, then you can adhere the Lost Lagoon piece to the card base using Multipurpose liquid Glue.

A panel of Very Vanilla card stock is matted to a piece of Lost Lagoon card stock. Using a die from Deckled Rectangle Dies cut a frame for the Very Vanilla card stock and adhered over the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  This panel can now be adhered to the Very Vanilla card base.

A Basic White medium envelope get a piece of Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature

The card I am sharing today is a combination of two stamp sets, both will be available January4, 2024.  Can you believe it will be 2024 in a few days.  Are you ready for all that we are probably going to encounter in 2024?  Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set is part of a Suite, with a Suite, you usually get more than one stamp set, plus dies, designer series paper, embellishments and sometimes even an embossing folder.  Stampin’ Up! is great about coordinating the designer series paper, ribbon and embellishment with the colors of the card stock offered.  The Stampin’ Up! Hooray For Surprises stamp set  has great greetings and sentiments.  The  designer series paper is from Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper, free (we all like free) with a qualifying order as it is Sale-A-Bration time starting January 4 until February 29, 2024.

I am joining the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge for this card.

The card base is Pebble Path card stock.  To that a panel of Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper is embossed using Exposed Brick 3 D Embossing Folder then adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card base.  A different pattern of the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper is cut to be adhered behind the art piece with a small border showing.

Using stamps from Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature stamp set, images are stamped in Smoky Slate ink on a Basic White card stock panel.  The piece is then embossed using Exposed Brick 3 D Embossing Folder.  It is adhered to the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper piece then popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Roses from a piece of the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper is colored and fussy cut.  Real Red, Bubble Bath, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends are used to color the roses.  They are popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Notes On Nature stamp set is stamped in Pebble Path ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and die cut using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies. Gray dots from 2023-2025 In Color Dots are popped around the card front.

On a panel of Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Hooray For Surprises stamp set is stamped in Pebble Path ink.  A rose from the same designer series paper is added to the corner of the panel.  The roses are colored in Bubble Bath and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.

SU Demo Fun Fold Blog Hop

SU Demo Fun Fold Blog Hop

Welcome to the monthly SU Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop Group  with Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators!!

We have a great lineup of talented crafters for you today, who enjoy creating fun folds.  If you love fun folds, I am hoping you find inspiration and enjoyment so much that you will be inspired to join us next time.  You are in for a treat with all the talented demonstrators participating. You can find that list  located at the end of the post about my card creation.

As this is not your normal fold card, you will start with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic Black card stock for the card base.  Next you will need a piece of Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper cut 5-1/4″ x 8.  Score this piece at 2″ and 4″, fold and burnish well.  Adhere this piece to the Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut a piece of Basic White card stock 2″ x 3-1/4″,  stamp a greeting on the piece then emboss using the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder. Cut a piece of Basic Black card stock 2-1/8″ x  3-3/8″ for the mat. Adhere the Basic White piece to the Basic Black piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Smoky Slate gems from Faceted Gems Trio Pack are popped around the card.

Another piece of Basic White and Basic Black card stock are cut the same size as the piece on the front.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Hooray For Surprises stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on the Basic White piece.  The two are adhered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered to the inside of the card.  I find the easiest way to make sure the inside card does not show when the card is closed is to position the card over the one on the front to make sure the inside one does not show,  put adhesive of your choice, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then close the card so it will then be in the correct spot on inside of the card.

This is the stamp set the inside sentiment is in.  It will be available to customers January 4, 2024.

A Basic White medium envelope get a piece of Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper adhered tot he envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! All The Best

Stampin’ Up! All The Best

The card I am sharing today is created using some of the elements of the December Paper Pumpkin All The Best.  The above stamp set is the one that come with the kit.

I added a Basic White card stock card base , trimming one of the card base from the kit to create the background for the wreath.  On one of the circle labels, a greeting is stamped in Pebble Path ink.  It is a stamp from the set.  I cut the word luck off of the greeting I used.  I like it the way I stamped  it on  the label.  The label is popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Flowers from the kit are arranged around the greeting circle creating a wreath look.  Balmy Blue jewels from the kit are popped around the card front.

A greeting Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments is stamped in Pebble Path ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Dandelions from the stamp set are stamped on the panel in Crushed Curry and Old Olive ink.  The panel is then  matted on a panel of Balmy Blue card stock and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Had you guessed by now that my card is a fun fold?  Of course, I had to end up making this an easel card.

This is a side view of the card you can see where the card is folded  and how it stand once it is place behind the two dandelions.

A Basic White envelope gets dandelions stamped on the envelope flap using Crush Curry and Old Olive ink.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. If you love card making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.
