Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions

This is not the kind of card you are happy to share, but that time does come around whether we want it to or not. Recently I have three friends who lost a loved one. This simple and very easy card is created using Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions stamp set for the greeting and sentiment. This is an all white card except for a brush of Balmy Blue ink on the butterfly wings and the swish of it behind the butterfly.
My card for today is inspired by the sketch design of Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base. I cut another panel of Basic White and cut to mat the challenge sketch.

I stamped a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions stamp set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the middle piece of the panel I cut in three pieces. A swish of Balmy Blue ink is brushed on the middle section using Balmy Blue ink and a Blending Brush. After stamping the greeting the three pieces is embossed using Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. The top and bottom sections are adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The middle section is popped on the middle of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A butterfly from my stash of butterfly is brushed on the wings with Balmy Blue ink using a Blending Brush. It is popped over the Balmy Blue swish using a Stampin’ Dimensional.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black in on a Basic White panel. Using a butterfly from my stash I used Balmy Blue ink and a Blending Brush to stencil the butterfly in the corner of the sentiment panel.

A Basic White envelope get butterflies stenciled in Balmy Blue ink on the envelope flap.

You will notice that some of my picture of my card has bling on the front others do not. I wanted to see which way looked best. I stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink an apple image from Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest stamp set. I colored using Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the branch and blossoms in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored using Crumb Cake, Bubble Bath, and Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. These are popped on the canvas using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The piece I call my canvas is then adhered to a Tahitian Tide card stock piece and popped on the Highland Heather card stock base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I started by cutting my card base from Orchid Oasis card stock. Next, I embossed a piece of Basic White card stock using Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder.
The bird is popped on the branch after all the stamping. It is then adhered to the Orchid Oasis mat and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds stamp set is stamped in Real Red ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. It is then die cut using die from Stylish Shapes Dies. I had to do a little modification with the die but it worked. Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewel are popped around the card front.
