Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees –love & joy

Good Day everyone. I have a new computer so if the layout of my blog doesn’t look right that’s the reason, I thought I would give a bit of a warning about it. Frustrating!

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees Stamp Set for the greeting and sentiment. The main part of the card is little pieces of strips of paper left over from other cards that I cut into smaller pieces.

Card Cuts:

Garden Green cardstock
- card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
Granny Apple Green cardstock
- mat — 4″ x 5-1/4″
Basic White cardstock
- mat for mosaic
- inside piece — 4″ x 5-1/4″

The Basic White cardstock piece has a piece of Adhesive Sheet adhered to the base. This is where the mosaic pieces will be adhered. After you have adhered the pieces, sprinkle Gold Embossing Powder over the surface of the pieces, then heat emboss.

Adhere the mosaic piece over the Granny Green cardstock piece then adhere the Granny Apple piece to the card base. Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees Stamp Set using Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, fussy cut then adhering to a piece of Real Red cardstock and fussy cutting. Add the greeting to the lower corner of the mosaic piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees Stamp Set is stamped on a panel of Basic White cardstock and leftover strips from the mosaic panel are added to the top and bottom corners.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of 2023-2025 Regal 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! July Paper Pumpkin Painted Petals

This is my verison of the July Paper Pumpkin. I started to make them the way it shows in the instructions, but just had to tweek them a bit with mats and bows.

These are the three cards using the Melon Mambo flowers. There are two different sentiments and design for the inside of these cards. I have only included one design of each. There are three different greetings on the card fronts and I gave each card a mat using the back side of the original card that come in the Paper Pumpkin. I cut the inside out of the mat using a Deckled Rectangle Die and you can see I used one as the inside for the sentiment. The flower image that is in the stamp set that come with the Paper Pumpkin is stamped on one of the inside panels and colored using Melon Mambo and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. The other is stamped on a piece of Basic White cardstock, colored using Bubble Bath, Pretty In Pink, and Old Olive ink. It is fussy cut, then adhered to the corner of the Melon Mambo panel on the inside panel. Sequins were scattered around the card fronts.

I am showing only two of the Daisy cards as two are the same. I added the green mat again using the back side of the original card. Two different greetings are used on the card fronts. The greetings are stamped on the labels that come with the Paper Pumpkin. A loopy bow is added to one and a small Old Olive bow is added to the other. The inside sentiment has a daisy from Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamped in Memento Black ink and colored using Old Olive, Lemon Lolly, and Pumpkin Pie inks. The greeting is the same for all three cards. Sequins are popped around the card front.

Again, I am only showing two of the Calypso Coral cards as the other one would be a duplicate. The inside sentiment panels for all the cards have been die cut using a die from Deckled Rectangle Dies. The edges are brushed with a sponge dauber and either, Old Olive, Melon Mambo, or Calypso Coral ink. Splatters are made using a Stampin’ Blends in the color of the card flowers so all three card designs have all three colors on the sentiment panel.

From the photo above you can see how to assemble the card together. The butterflies are from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set and dies, both the ones stamped on the greeting and the die cut ones. Sequins from Adhesive Backed Sequins and gems from Tinsel Gems Three Pack are scattered around the card front.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. Butterflies have been die cut from a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper and popped around the sentiment. The Basic White panel is then matted on another piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Adhere a 2-1/4′ x 6″ piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Encircled In Nature

My card I am sharing today is a birthday card for my grandson and is created using Stampin’ Up! Encircled In Nature stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set, Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and Stampin’ Up! Meadow Dies.

I am entering Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge for this card.

I started with a Blueberry Bushel cardstock card base, adding a layer of Basic White cardstock embossed using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, then a half layer of Blueberry Bushel cardstock embossed with the same embossing folder.

I colored a piece of Basic White card stock using Blueberry Bushel ink and a Blending Brush. Using a die from Encircled In Nature dies, I lightly drew a circle on the colored piece. I stamped the trees from Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink over the edge of the circle. The moon and stars were stamped with Versa Mark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat set using a heat tool. The art piece is popped over the embossed pieces using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A die from Encircled in Nature Dies is die cut from a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock and adhered around the lightly drawn circle. Trees are die cut from Shaded Spruce and Old Olive cardstock. The trees are popped around the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock, die cut using a die from Meadow Dies. Two pieces of Gold Faux Leather trim is looped through the ends of the greeting piece and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set are stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. Trees are stamped in the corner of the panel using Shaded Spruce ink.

A piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock is embossed with the same embossing folder as used on the front of the card. It is then adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia — Sending Flowers

My card I am sharing today is a CAS of the one Carol Buckalew created at our Team Meeting in March. She created a beautiful card so that all us members that chose to make a card like hers would have a beauty also.

I am joining Creative Creases Challenge for this card.

Start with a 4-1/4″ x 11″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock as the card base.
As this is a fun fold, you will need to make a few score lines for folding.
Score at 2-1/4″, 3-5/8″, 7-3/8″ and 8-3/4″.
Fold the cardstock at the score line, the first fold is valley fold, then mountain fold, then mountain fold again and finally the last one is a valley fold. This will give you the pop-out for the center of the card.

Cut 4 pieces of Daffodil Delight cardstock for the mats. The measurements are at the end of the post.
Cut 3 pieces of Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper.
Adhere the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper to the Daffodil Delight mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Die cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using a die from Perennial Postage Dies.
Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnias stamp set in Memento Black ink.
Die cut a piece of Berry Burst cardstock using a larger die from Perennial Postage Dies. This is the mat for the greeting.
Adhere the two pieces together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere all the matted pieces to the card front. See photo above.
Stamp 3 Zinnias & leaves using a flower and leaf image from Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set.
Stamp one in Gorgeous Grape ink and color with Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends, Stamp one in Melon Mambo ink and color using Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blends, and stamp the last one in Crushed Curry ink and color using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
Pop the Zinnias and leaves over the greeting using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Pop Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins around the card front.
Die cut a piece of Basic White using a die from Perennial Postage Dies & cut a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock.
Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set on the Basic White piece using Memento Black ink.
Stamp a flower from the same stamp set as the one on the card front in the corner of the Basic White piece.
Adhere the two pieces together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhere to the back of the card.
Adhere a piece of Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper to a Basic White envelope flap using Multipurpose Glue.
