Mosiac Mood

Mosiac Mood

Don’t you think this rose is absolutely beautiful?  Also the background paper (both will be available June 4 in the new 2019 catalog, if you would like one let me know).  This Designer Series Paper is called Mosiac Mood.  There is also a stamp set that goes with this DSP.

My sketch is from the Global Design Project challenge for this week.

And….  the WWC218- Marsha’s “All About Occasions” Challenge.   These should be fun to do.

The paper looks as if it has been put together one tile at a time, just like a real Mosiac that you would create.

The card base is Garden Green with the Mosiac Mood panel next.  Next comes the square panel that has been cut from Mint Macaron and embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

The rose is fussy cut from a panel of the Mosiac Mood DSP and popped on the Mint Macaron panel (that has been cut using the Layering Square Framelits Dies) using Stampin’ Dimensionals same as the Mint Macaron panel being popped onto the green leaf Mosiac Mood panel and the green leaf panel popped onto the card base.  The Happy Mother’s Day is stamped in Garden Green ink on a scrap of the Mint Macaron card stock and popped over the filigree strip from the Petals and More Thinlits Dies.  Three sequins from the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins are popped in various placed on the Mint Macaron panel.

The sentiment from the Well Said stamp set is stamped in Garden Green ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  A butterfly and rose from the Mosiac Mood DSP is added to the panel using Liquid Glue.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I am just a wee bit late in getting published today.  I have been traveling all day and just a little while ago got settled to do this.  I hope you like the card and can find encouragement or inspiration for your own creations.  Have a great weekend.  I think it is going to be a sunshiny one.

Floral Romance

Floral Romance

I have to say this card is beautifully made from the Floral Romance DSP,  more so in real time than on the screen, but it is still beautiful.

Design is loosely based on the Inspire, Create Challenge #041.

And, I found a new challenge called Cardz for Galz.  The challenge is to use pretty paper and Stampin’ Up!’s Floral Romance DSP sure qualifies as beautiful.

The card base is Whisper White card stock.  Next is a panel cut the same size as the card for the mat for the Floral Romance DSP.  The Floral Romance DSP was cut in two pieces and then adhered to the Whisper White panel.

After I adhered the panels to the Whisper White mat I realized I probably did not need to cut the Floral Romance panel in two pieces as I added ribbon over the cut. The ribbon is Fresh Fig Finely Woven 1/2″ Ribbon and Rich Razzleberry Stitched Edge Ribbon.  The piece of lace ribbon is a scrap from my stash.

The vertical focal panel is also cut from a panel of Floral Romance DSP.  I added a few butterflies from leftover butterflies that I had colored and fussy cut.  Three Share What You Love Artisan Pearls are added to the card front.  The greeting is from the Sailing Home stamp set (available June 4).

I fussy cut some flowers and leaves from the Floral Romance DSP and added to the corner of the page left blank for a thank you note to be written.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you like my card and find encouragement and inspiration for your own creations.  Have a blessed day!

Love What You Do

Love What You Do

Da

I decided I needed to use up some of the soon retiring products before they are retired.  This turned out to be a rather pretty card.  It was simple and easy to make.  I used the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper and the Strong and Beautiful Stamp set (it will be in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog) for the greeting and the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder.

My design is from the  CAS(E) this Sketch.

The card base is Tranquil Tide as is the mat the three focal panels are adhered to.  One panel is Mint Macaron that has been embossed using the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder.  One panel is cut from the What You Love DSP and the third panel is a panel of Whisper White that has been color washed using Melon Mambo ink.  A bow is made out of Whisper White Twine and tied around the flowers that have been fussy cut from a panel of Share What You Love DSP.  The greeting is from the Strong and Beautiful stamp set.

The sentiment is stamped on a panel of Whisper White using Melon Mambo ink.  I stamped the ink off once so it would not be so bright.  The flowers from the Love What You Do stamp set is used to stamp the flowers on the sentiment panel after being colored using Stampin’ Write Markers in Melon Mambo and Tranquil Tide.

The flap of the envelope is decorated using a panel from the Share What You Love DSP

Thanks for stopping by today.  Here’s wishing you a blessed day.

Happiness Blooms with Hanging Garden

Happiness Blooms with Hanging Garden

Today’s card is created using the Happiness Blooms DSP and the two stamp sets Detailed with Love stamp set for the greeting and the Hanging Garden stamp set for the inside sentiment.

My design comes from the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #316 for this week.

And…

The Sisterhood of Crafters has a challenge that is titled “April Showers”.  The Designer Series Paper on my card looks like little umbrellas so I thought I would join this challenge.

My card is great for a beginning stamper as it is very simple to make, yet it is a pretty unique card.

The card base is Whisper White card stock with a Whisper White mat that is cut the same size as the card front and embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I find it easier to emboss a single panel of card stock than trying to emboss the card front.  Just make the embossed panel the same size as your card and then glue on the card front.

A panel of the Happiness Blooms DSP is cut 4″ x 3″ and then placed at an angle the card front and trimmed to the shape needed for the challenge card.  It is matted using a panel of the Needlepoint Nook DSP cut 1/8″ larger than the focal panel.

The greeting is from the Detailed With Love stamp set and is stamped on a square of Whisper White card stock that has been cut using the Layering Square Dies.  It is matted in a square from the Needlepoint Nook DSP.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  It is adhered using Liquid Glue.  I fussy cut the little flowers from the Happiness Blooms DSP  and adhered down the side using Liquid Glue.  Don’t you think the tops look like the top of an umbrella?

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you are blessed beyond your imagination!  Have a great day!

Humming Along with Detailed with Love

Humming Along with Detailed with Love

My card is simple, easy and takes a short time to create.

I am playing along with two challenges today.    Inspire Create   Challenge#040And …

Sunday Stamps Challenge 202

It is a Whisper White card base with three panels of three different DSP that was from the just gone by Sale-A-Bration.  As you can see if you go to each card challenge there are many papers that can be used to create the design and many stamp designs to use to create the black and white challenge.  I love black and white and could create more cards but I believe one entry is the limit for the challenge.

The Tailored Tag Punch is used to create the label for the greeting.  The Whisper White one is trimmed to allow the Basic Black card stock to show around.  Three black and white butterflies are cut from a scrap of the Botanical Butterfly DSP that is a just gone by Sale-A-Bration item.  Three sequins from the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins are colored with the Dark Black Stampin’ Blends Pen and scattered around the label.

The inside sentiment from the Humming Along stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White. A butterfly from the Beauty Abound stamp set is stamped several times on the sentiment panel without re-inking the stamp.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you love my card.  Have a blessed day.
