Stampin’ Up! New Wonders

This is the card I am sharing today from the Stampin’ Up! New Wonders Stamp Set. I think it is a cute card. The little angle makes me think of my 3-year-old great-granddaughter and her wild red hair. I used the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Memory Dies to make the cut so there would be two pieces of the Stampin’ Up! 6″ x 6″ 2019-2021 In-Color Designer Series Paper used.
The inside sentiment stamped in Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock ink is from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set.

My challenge for today is with As You See It Challenge – Split Decision.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoy my card and find encouragement and inspiration.

Card Cuts:
- Pretty Peacock card stock — card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored and folded at 5-1/2″
- Whisper White card stock — front mat 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ and inside mat — 4′ x 5-1/4″; 3″ circle for art piece
- 2019-2021 In-Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper — 4″ x 5-1/4″

In creating the card I am sharing today, Stampin’ Up! Woven Threads Designer Series Paper (DSP) is the focal point. I have not used this DSP before and never really given it a good look. It has some lovely designs and colors. I noticed that all the Stampin’ Up! 2019-2021 In- Colors are represented in this DSP. I’ve added the rose from the April 2019 Paper Pumpkin Inspirational Rose stamp set. It matches the rose in the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Stamp Set.

The second mat is a panel from the Pressed Petals DSP and is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Pinewoods Plank Embossing Folder. They are adhered using Multipurpose Glue.
Pearls from Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewel are scattered on the card front. A bow is made and adhered with a Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dot. I believe the twine for the bow is from a Paper Pumpkin kit.

The card I am sharing today is a combination of the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Roots Dies and Stampin’ Up! Dinoroar Designer Series Paper. What an odd combination! A panel the same size as the card base has been cut and embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Embossing Folder. It is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you like my card and that it inspires or encourages you in some way.
