Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals with Daisy Lane
Here we are again sharing a card with you! Hope your Thursday is going terrific and it is a wonderful sunny day where you are with Fall in the air.
The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is a lovely card and I am sure you can find many on Pinterest that are similar, if I have CAS(E)d anyone card, thank you for creating it so I could see it and maybe use parts of it in creating mine. I looked after I made mine and there are many, many cards using this DSP. They are all so beautiful.
My challenges are with Make My Monday Challenge.
As you can see it is a color sketch and the flowers make me think of one of my favorite DSP’s of the Annual Catalog. When I decided to use the Pressed Petal DSP, at first I was afraid that I could not come up with how to get the Stampin’ Up! Calypso Coral color to go with the others, but as you can see from my card, the Calypso Coral color blends right in with the flowers. You would probably never believe that it is Calypso Coral just looking at it.

Stampin’ Up! Rococo card stock is the card base with a mat of Stampin’ Up! Merry Merlot card stock for the background panel which is another panel from the Pressed Panel DSP.
The daisies, from the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Stamp Set, are stamped in Stampin’ Up! Rococo Rose, Calypso Coral, and Blackberry Bliss ink. The leaves stamped in Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink is from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Stamp Set. The Blackberry Bliss daisy is half stamped and half punching from Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss card stock. My dyed twine did not turn out the color of Mossy Meadow but I used it, wrapping it around the card front twice and tying in a bow.
The inside sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Merry Merlot on a Whisper White card stock panel and has a spray of leaves from Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamped in Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink that has been stamped off once.
In finishing, I gave a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope the remaining panel of the Pressed Petal DSP and fussy cut some of the flowers for the envelope front.

Card Cuts:
- Rococo Rose card stock — card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored and folded at 5-1/2″
- Merry Merlot card stock — mat for card front and inside — 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ and 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Pressed Petal Designer Series Paper — background panels 4″ x 5-1/4″; 2″ x 5-1/4″
- Whisper White card stock — 3-3/4″ x 5″
I am sharing a card today created from Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set. I did use a little flower from the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Stamp Set.
Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock is the card base. A panel of the Whisper White the same size as the card is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder, then adhered to the card from with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I find it easier to emboss a separate panel and then adhere to the card front than trying to make sure the fold of the card is exactly on the edge of the embossing folder and then sometimes the card stock will slip and you have a crooked embossed panel. Once it is adhered you will not notice it as a separate panel.
A 2″ wide strip is cut and matted on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock card stock then adhered to the card front. Four squares are also cut from the Pretty Peacock card stock for the mats for the birds from Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad DSP. The squares are adhered with Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Up! Stampin Dimensionals.
The inside sentiment is stamped in Pretty Peacock on a Whisper White card stock panel and has birds that have been fussy cut adhered in the left corner. The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock ink on a Whisper White panel.
In finishing, I gave a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope the remaining panel of the Bird Ballad DSP and fussy cut some of the birds for the envelope front.
My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Toil Christmas Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper. This was a simple easy card to create. Wish all my cards took no more time than this one did.
