Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods

I hope it isn’t another rainy day, I know the earth needs it, but it is depressing so to help my depression all I can do is make cards!  Do you think that is the correct medicine?

My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Bundle.  I am happy Stampin’ Up! kept this set, it helps to make up for not having Lovely As A Tree!  My card is like one that Beth McCullough made but I used red, she used pink.  You can see her’s here.  I wanted to play in the Dragonfly Dreams Challenge.  The theme is to use black lots or a little.  So I needed a black card and Beth’s just happen to appear in my mailbox, so thank you, Beth, for this lovely card you made so I could CAS(E).

The card has a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock base with a Basic Black panel embossed using Stampin’ Up! White Embossing Powder with some of the trees from the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Set.

Run a piece of the Stampin’ Up! Sparkle Glimmer paper through the Big Shot using the Stampin’ Up! In the Woods die that looks like a thin curvy piece of metal, this will make the slope for the snow.
Using the 1st and 3rd largest Stampin’ Up! Stitched Rectangles Dies crop a frame from a panel of Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock. Adhere the snow slope to the back of the frame using Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dots or Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals if you did not crop three of the frames to gives the frame stability and thickness.  You will then adhere the frame to the Basic Black panel using Glue Dots.

To make the evergreen Silver tree, use the evergreen dies from the Stampin’ Up! In The Woods Dies and Stampin’ Up! Silver Glimmer Paper.  Cut two trees and adhere together using Mini Glue Dot.  Color seven Stampin’ Up! Basic Rhinestone Jewels using a Stampin’ Blends Light Cherry Cobbler Marker then pop on the tree that has been popped on the card front in the left corner of the frame.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black in on a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock panel that is matted on a panel of Real Red card stock.  The picture of my card not being straight in the pictures gives the allusion that the sentiment is crooked.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Wrapped in Plaid

Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Wrapped in Plaid

I can’t believe it is Wednesday already just yesterday was Sunday!

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Stamp Bundle and Stampin’ Up! Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder, and Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink.

My challenge for today is inspired by Cute Card Thursday.  Their theme for the week is Sparkle.  I sure think my card is sparkly enough with all the gold glitz!

The Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake card stock is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder, before embossing I rubbed the Stampin’ Up! Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic ink pad over the folder several times to get the ink on the folder well.  The embossed panel and the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped in Plaid DSP panel were adhered to a Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla card stock panel to give stability to the two and make it easier for the Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce/Gold Stripe Ribbon to be popped over the two panels attaching on the back of the panel using tape.

The cardinal from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Stamp Bundle is stamped on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic ink pad. The heat tool was used to help the ink dry as it takes this ink a little while to dry.

The flower branch was stamped in Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce ink and colored using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Markers in Light Cherry Cobbler, Light Shaded Spruce, and Light Old Olive.  It was adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dot, Multipurpose Glue and Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin Dimensionals.  The cardinal was then popped on the branch using Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

The sentiment same as the flower branches are from the Toile Christmas stamp bundle and is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty

Happy Day, I am happy you stopped by today.  The card I created is a CAS(E)  of one that a team member, Akiko Sudano created.  You can find hers here.    She has much better instructions to create than I do, so I will make only a few comments about my card.

My card inspiration for today is from The Paper Players.

ca

Stampin’ Up! Merry Merlot card stock was used as the card base with a background panel from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Tiding Designer Series Paper.  A banner from Stampin’ Up! Garden Lane Designer Series Paper is adhered across the background panel.  The trees from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set is used to stamp two sets of trees on the Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla card stock square that has been matted with a square from the Merry Merlot card stock.

The deer from Natur’s Beauty Stamp Set is stamped on a small panel of Very Vanilla card stock using Stampin’ Up! Early Espresso ink.  I used a Stampin’ Up! Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker to then color the deer. The deer is popped on the art square using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The flourish on the left is actually the feather from the Stampin’ Up! Detailed Peacock Dies.  A Stampin’ Up! Designer Element that has been colored using a Stampin’ Up! Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Marker is popped in the center of the flourish.  Another of the elements is popped in the right corner.

The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Merry Merlot ink on a Very Vanilla card stock panel.  The trees are stamped in Garden Green ink in two corners.  The panel is then adhered to the card base.

Trees from Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set are stamped on the Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla envelope flap to finish the project.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals

Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals

Happy Monday everyone.  Hope your day is fantastic with no glitches along the way!

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper.  It took a bit of fussy cutting to cut all the little flowers to make the wreath but I like the way it turned out.

My challenge inspiration for today is Crazy 4 Challenges — the theme is wreaths.

Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow card stock is the card base with a panel of the Mossy Meadow card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.  This panel is cut the same size as the card front to make embossing easier. It is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A  panel of the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals DSP is adhered across the entire width of the card.  A circle was cut for the foundation of the wreath and a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink on the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White circle cropped from one of the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies.

The flowers were fussy cut from a panel of the Pressed Petals DSP and adhered and popped around the circle to form the wreath using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Up! Glue Dots and Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Several rhinestones and pearls from Stampin Up! Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Pearl Basic Jewels were randomly placed around the card front.

I am proud of my bow!  I watched Mary Deatherage very close when she was tying a bow on her FB video on Saturday evening and so I gave it a try and it turned out maybe not as great as hers, but I am pleased I could tie it.  I used linen thread from Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack (I used the Mossy Meadow linen thread) and regular Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread .

The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  A strip of the flowers that coordinate with the flowers that created the wreath are adhered down the side of the panel.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Pressed Petals DSP to complete the project.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.
