It’s Your Day! Floral Essence
Here is a sneak peek of the Perennial Essence DSP. I think I am going to love, love, love it. But… every time I use one of the new Designer Series Paper, I end up saying I love it. Guess I just love them all.
My sketch design is based on the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #321. I alter it a bit an put the triangles more in the middle.
My card is created using the Perennial Essence DSP and the Floral Essence stamp set.

Since the Share What You Love DSP is retiring, I am trying to get it used up so you may see it every day for a while. My card is created with it and the coordinating stamp set, Love What You Do which is not retiring (I’m so happy).

A panel of the Share What You Love DSP is used as a background piece. The art piece is from the Love What You Do stamp set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock that has been cut using the Rectangle Stitched Dies. The leaves are stamped in Old Olive ink. A Light Rich Razzleberry Blends was used in coloring the flowers along with the Color Lifter. I discovered that my Color Lifer was dry out and I had not even used it before, so I poured a bit of alcohol in a bottle cap and dipped the pen in it. It worked great.
The butterflies were cut using the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies. I used scraps from the Share What You Love DSP for cutting. I used a Fine Tip Glue Pen to dab just a drop of glue to the center of each butterfly. Pearls from the Basic Jewels Pearls were added to the butterfly bodies and various other places on the art piece.
Two different strips of card stock were cut to be placed behind the art piece. The Share What You Love DSP strip is clipped on one end to make it a banner. The other is a bit of Blackberry Bliss, I mistakenly put used it instead of Rich Razzleberry.
Guess I need to make sure each color is in the proper folder. The art piece has a Rich Razzleberry mat, you would think I would have noticed that when I put the two short strips behind the art piece. The art piece is popped on using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

My card today is made from the Magnolia Lane Memories and More card pack and the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.

The vertical panel with the magnolias is from the Magnolia Lane DSP. This piece is matted using Whisper White card stock and popped over the Mossy Meadow panel. The two short pieces of ribbon are cut from the Scalloped Lace Ribbon (available June 4 to customers). These short pieces of lace are given a Mossy Meadow mat so the beauty of the lace can be seen so much better. They are adhered to the Mossy Meadow mat using Glue Dots and then are popped on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting is one of the stickers from the Magnolia Lane Memories and More card pack. It, too, is matted on a small piece of Mossy Meadow card stock.
The large magnolia fussy cut from a panel of the Magnolia Lane DSP is popped on the Whisper White circle cut using the Layering Circle Dies. The circle and the magnolia are both popped on using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

My card today is created by using a soon to be a retired stamp set, Little Twinkle. It was an easy card to make and would be great for a beginning stamper.

Three circles are cut using the Layering Circle Dies, one a bit larger than the next to make a border for the first circle that is cut from a panel of the Twinkle, Twinkle DSP. The Petal Pink circle has the greeting stamped in Night of Navy ink.
A length of Whisper White ribbon is wrapped around the Night of Navy star panel before the circles are popped over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Several silver stars are scattered around the card front and they may not show up too well.

My card is created from the Let it Ride stamp set. I am so happy this stamp set is carrying over.
The card base is Cajun Craze card stock with a mat from the Wood Texture 6″ x 6″ DSP (retiring June 3) here’s hoping that it will return in a later catalog because of so many people like using it. A panel of Crumb Cake is embossed using the Pinewood Plank Embossing. Folder and I am so happy it will be returning in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. It is adhered using Liquid Glue.
A 1-1/2″ strip from the Wood Texture DSP is cut and the art image is stamped on it. The image is from the Let It Ride stamp set. The horses are stamped in Early Espresso ink and the trees in Mossy Meadow ink. This strip is then matted on a dark panel from the Wood Texture DSP and Old Olive Linen Thread is wrapped around the panel. This is popped onto the Pinewood Plank panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a Very Vanilla circle that has been cut using the Layering Stitched Circle Dies. The Very Vanilla Circle has been matted on a small scrap of Wood Texture DSP that the larger circle is cut.
The inside sentiment from the Humming Along stamp set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a Very Vanilla panel of card stock. The trees in the corner are from the Let It Ride stamp set and are stamped in Mossy Meadow ink that has been stamped off once. The panel is adhered to the card base using Liquid Glue.
