Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals

Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals

Happy Monday everyone.  Hope your day is fantastic with no glitches along the way!

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper.  It took a bit of fussy cutting to cut all the little flowers to make the wreath but I like the way it turned out.

My challenge inspiration for today is Crazy 4 Challenges — the theme is wreaths.

Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow card stock is the card base with a panel of the Mossy Meadow card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.  This panel is cut the same size as the card front to make embossing easier. It is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A  panel of the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals DSP is adhered across the entire width of the card.  A circle was cut for the foundation of the wreath and a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink on the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White circle cropped from one of the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies.

The flowers were fussy cut from a panel of the Pressed Petals DSP and adhered and popped around the circle to form the wreath using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Up! Glue Dots and Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Several rhinestones and pearls from Stampin Up! Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Pearl Basic Jewels were randomly placed around the card front.

I am proud of my bow!  I watched Mary Deatherage very close when she was tying a bow on her FB video on Saturday evening and so I gave it a try and it turned out maybe not as great as hers, but I am pleased I could tie it.  I used linen thread from Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack (I used the Mossy Meadow linen thread) and regular Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread .

The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  A strip of the flowers that coordinate with the flowers that created the wreath are adhered down the side of the panel.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Pressed Petals DSP to complete the project.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

A New Suite is Coming November 1!

It’s called the Christmas Time is Here Suite and it’s pretty amazing!  just look at that DSP, isn’t it gorgeous and here’s hoping the die fits the rose on the DSP! The dies do fit the roses on one of the panels of the DSP.  The dies fit perfectly.    This suite was used by several demonstrators October 5 during World Card Making Day and the cards were gorgeous.  You should see if you can find them on Pinterest, they are so beautiful.

We hope you’re ready to make this holiday season magical, because the Christmastime Is Here Suite is, well . . . available November 1! This exclusive, limited-time collection of festive, floral coordinating products has everything you need to share love, joy, and creativity this holiday season.  As a demonstrator, I am able to pre-order on October 1 so be watching for cards made from this Suite.
