Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia — Sending Flowers
Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set and Dies is the stamps and dies I used to create the card I am sharing today. I also used dies from Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage Dies and the Zinnia 3 D Embossing Folder.
This is the challenge I am entering for this card.
Krafty Chicks Challenge — Anything Goes
- Start with a Basic White cardstock card base.
- Using dies from Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage dies, die cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using the two larges dies. I die cut at the same time making a frame.
- Adhere the frame to the card base.
- Emboss the smaller piece using Zinnia 3 D Embossing Folder.
- The smaller of the die cuts is popped back in the negative space of the frame using Stampin’ Dimensionals after embossing.
- On a piece of Basic White cardstock stamp the large three flower image from Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set.
- Color the flowers, using Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Melon Mambo, and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends.
- Pop the Zinnias over the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Make a loopy Crumb Cake bow using Linen Thread.
- Adhere the bow to the bottom of the Zinnias with a Glue Dot.
- Stamp a greeting in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock.
- Pop the greeting over the Linen Bow positioning the Stampin’ Dimensionals on each side of the bow.
- Pop Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins around the card front.
- Die cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using the same dies as used on the card front.
- Stamp the other half of message on the stamp used for the greeting on the card front on this die cut panel.
- Adhere a zinnia fussy cut from a piece of Flowering Zinnia Designer Series Paper to the lower corner of the Basic White panel.
- Adhere the panel to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- A Basic White envelope gets embossed on the envelope flap using Zinnia 3 D Embossing Folder.

One of the perks of being a demonstrator is that you get to pre-order before a new catalog launches so you are able to show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out. You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card making items, or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount. When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.
