Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia meets Perennial Lavender
I love purples, they always look so regal. The card I am sharing today is created using Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! Wild Fern Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set, and Painted Lavender Stamp Set.
These are the card cuts:
- Basic White cardstock
- card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″
- inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
- zinnias — 4″ x 5″
- inside sentiment — 2-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
- Pretty Peacock cardstock
- mat card front 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
- inside mat — 1-3/8″ x 4-1/4″
- inside frame — 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″
- Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper
- background — (2) 2″ x 5-1/4″ Use 2 different patterns
- inside banner — 1-1/4″ x 4-3/8″
The card base is Basic White cardstock with a Pretty Peacock cardstock mat for the Perennial Lavender Desiger Series Paper.
A zinnia image from Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia Stamp Set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. The image is colored using Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. The image is die cut using a die from Simply Zinnia Dies. It is then popped over the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Shimmer Fine Purple Gems are popped around the card front.
Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on a Basic White scrap, then cut the words apart and arrange them on the card front. Make a loopy Mary Deatherage bow (she’s the one who showed me how to make the bow, so I call it by her name) using Linen Thread. Adhere the bow behind the greeting over the flower stem.
Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Wild Ferns Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Die cut the sentiment using a die from Countryside Corner Dies. Die cut the frame for the piece using two of the dies to create the frame. Adhere the sentiment over a banner of Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper and Pretty Peacock cardstock. Stamp another sentiment, this time using one from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day Stamp Set (I use this sentiment ofen). Using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender Stamp Set stamp an image in Pretty Peacock ink in the lower corner of the panel. Adhere to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
A Basi White envelope gets a piece of Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I am happy you stop by today. I hope you take the time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you wilbe inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!
