Stampin’ Up! Seasons of Chic
The card I am creating today is a CAS of the one Rosie Kean created for our Team Meeting on Sunday. We were given instructions so we could create along with Rosie. We used Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set and Chic Dies. I also use the Wintery 3D Embossing Folder and the Deckled Rectangle Dies.
I am joining Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge for today.
My card base is Pool Party card stock. It is a 4″1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card base. The Textured Chic Designer Series Paper will be adhered to the base to create the card and gift card holder. You can see how the Textured Chic Designer Series Paper is cut and scored in the next photo. On a piece Basic White card stock that has been cropped with a small Deckled Rectangle Die. Adhere to a piece of Soft Succulent card stock that is also cropped using a Deckled Rectangle die and embossed using one of the dies from the Wintery 3D Embossing Folders. This piece has been angled when adhered to the card front. Add snowflakes cropped from White Glimmer Paper from the Red & White Glimmer Paper pack and snowflakes that have been cropped from Pool Party card stock and covered with Wink of Stella.
Cut a 5-1/4″ x 12″ piece of Textured Chic Designer Paper. Score at 4″ and 8″. Fold on the score line. From the score line on the left in the above photo position the score line in the ditch of your paper trimmer, position the right corner of the piece in the ditch also. So as not to crimp up the corners place the cutting blade inside the piece and not on the edge of the paper.
This is how the piece will look after cutting and folding. Adhere the left edge of the triangle on the left side. This will create a pocket for a gift card.
Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasion stamp set in Soft Succulent ink on a piece of Basic White card stock that has been cropped using a Deckled Rectangle Die. The Soft Succulent card stock mat is also cropped using a larger Deckled Rectangle Die. Adhere this piece to the top of the inside panel as shown in the above photo. Adhere two snowflakes from the Chic Dies that have been cropped from Pool Party card stock and White Glimmer Paper from the Red & White Glimmer Paper pack.
A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Textured Chic Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
