Yeah!! I am back! Makes me happy ’cause it means my computer is well again! TODAY IS THE BIG DAY! As a demonstrator, I get to pre-order from the Holiday Catalog and use the discount that Stampin’ Up! gives to demonstrators. The card I am sharing is from Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Stamp Set. It is a simple and easy card to create.
I am playing along at the Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge. It has a Nautical Twist.
There is a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock base with a Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock mat for the focal panel that has been cut from the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.
The Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock circles are cropped out using the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies. The three art images are stamped in Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy ink on scraps of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock using stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Stamp Set. A length of Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake Nature’s Twine was doubled and knots tied in it. The thread was then wrapped around the focal panel and the mat and adhered in the back using tape.
The art images are adhered to the Real Red circle using Liquid Glue and then popped on the focal panel using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Whisper White. Nautical images have been stamped off once and stamped in the upper and lower corner. I can not remember which stamp set I used for the thinking of you. It has been a few days since I made this card because of my computer illness I couldn’t post.
In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the theme of the card. I gave the envelope flap a panel of DSP from the Come Sail Away DSP.
