Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals
Happy Sunday everyone. Enjoy your day!
My creation today is from Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals DSP. This DSP is so amazing. It looks like real flowers because it is actual pictures of flowers.
My challenge today is from the Fab Friday Stampin Challenge 167.
The card base is Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake.
The background panel from the Stampin’ Up Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP is matted on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock. They are adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The pretty flower panel that looks like real pressed flowers adhered to a piece of fabric is actually real flower pictures. To me, they look so real — a great picture of 3 dimensional. This panel is from Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals DSP. This panel is also matted on Night of Navy card stock. A scalloped white strip is cut using one of the dies from Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine Dies.
The inside sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Waterfront Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy ink. A pressed flower is cut from a panel of the Pressed Petals DSP and adhered to the right corner of the sentiment panel. The panel is matted in Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock.
In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the theme of the card front. I gave the envelope flap a panel from the same DSP that is on the card front.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and my wish is that your day be blessed and that you find inspiration and encouragement for your own creations.

Just beautiful Shirley! Love your design and the colors are perfect! 🙂
Thank you Amy!
Thanks Amy!
Wow, Shirley, so pretty! I really like these papers – they remind so much of playing with a flower press my Grandmother gave me when I was a girl. Your card looks like the pretty designs she used to make! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
Heather thank you so much for your sweet encouraging comment. It is so appreciated.
Thank you so much Heather!
So pretty, Shirley. I love that paper too and you’ve given it a beautiful home on that card.
Thank you so much Susan!
