The Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder takes center stage on this card as it seems to stand out.  A piece of  Basic White cardstock is embossed with the embossing folder, and Memento Black ink is swiped over the embossing, making the embossing pop.

This is an easy card to create. There are few card cuts, but then there is fussy cutting.  Many people dislike fussy cutting, which I consider one of the things learned in kindergarten. However, since there was no kindergarten when I went to school, I must have learned it from my grandmother.

Card Cuts

• Basic Black cardstock
  • card base — 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4
  • large die cut — 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
• Basic White cardstock
  • embossed panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″ Country Side Corners Die
  • inside panel — 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • small die cut label — 4″ x 4″  Country Side Corners Die
• Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper 
  • fussy cut flowers

Two labels are die cut using Country Side Corner Dies.  The larger one is from Basic Black cardstock, and the other is from Basic White cardstock.  The Basic White one adheres to the Basic Black using Multipurpose Glue.  It is then popped on the card front over the embossed panel.  Arrange the flowers fussy cut from Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper the way you like, then using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere to the black and white labels.

Using the gold thread make several loops to go under the greeting.  I stamp two or three pages of the Thinking Of You greeting at once, so I forget which stamp set this is from.  

Pressed Flower Motifs gems are popped around the card front.

A panel of Basic White cardstock gets fussy cut flowers from Lovely Garden Designer Paper adhered to the left upper corner and the lower right corner.  The remaining part of the panel is left blank for a handwritten note or a sentiment of choice later.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel of Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using  Multipurpose Glue.
