Happy weekend everyone!  I hope that yours is going fabulously.  A good day to make lots of cards — right?

My card for today is featuring the Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Stamp Set and Detailed Bee Dies.  Can you believe I am only using one stamp set today?

The inspiration for the design comes from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock base. Add a layer of Stampin’ Up! Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper for the background. To the left side crop a small panel of Whisper White card stock with a die from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Dies.  Stamp the greeting using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.  Adhere the Whisper White circle to the background panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue as you did the other pieces adhered.  Add a black and gold strip from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper over the bottom of the circle.

Add the beehive that has been stamped in Delicata Golden Glitz Ink and cropped with the die from the Stampin’ Up! Detailed Bee Dies.

Fussy cut bees from the Golden Honey DSP and pop around the card front with several Stampin’ Up! Faceted Gems.  Add the flower around the thank you circle with the blossom being hearts.

The sentiment panel is left blank for a handwritten message but has a strip of the Golden Honey DSP added.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Golden Honey DSP added to the panel.
