Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad
Happy Thursday everyone! Hope your day is going to be fantastic and you accomplish much of whatever you want to do!
The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Wells Said Bundle.
The design inspiration for the challenge I am entering today comes from Case This Sketch Challenge. I was skeptic at first when I saw this sketch, thinking what can I do, but once started my card has turned out rather well. I just may use this sketch for another card even if there is not a challenge.
This was an easy card again to make, just a few snips and cuts and a bit of fussy cutting and it was finished. The card base is Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock with a mat for the art pieces that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.
The art pieces have a Basic Black mat and a Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake art piece that has been sprinkled with Tuxedo Memento Black ink using the sprinkle stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront Stamp Set.
The feathers are fussy cut from a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad DSP. The feathers make me think of Fall leaves that have changed colors, therefore, I am also playing at the Paper Players because my feathers are the colors in their challenge.
I cropped the word “thanks” 4 times using the die from the Stampin’ Up! Well Written Dies, three from Basic Black card stock and one from Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze card stock.
The inside sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.
The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets covered using a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad DSP.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.
