Painted Seasons with Botanical Butterfly
My card is created using the Painted Seasons Bundle. The Designer Series Paper is so pretty. This panel that I have used for this card is so cool and clean looking. It makes me think of a hot afternoon sitting in the cool parlor of an old house long ago. I remember it had a big ceiling fan that swirled around slowly but the coolness was divine on a hot summer day. The Happy Day greeting is from the Itty Bitty Greeting stamp set. I just can’t get away from that Itty Bitty, can I? Be it Itty Bitty Greetings or Itty Bitty Birthday!
My sketch design comes from Try Stamping On Tuesday.
My card base is Lemon Lime Twist with a Pool Party mat for the Painted Seasons DSP. The two different designs of the DSP make a good contrast. A Coastal Cabana- Granny Apple Green Reversible Ribbon is wrapped around the focal panel and tied in a bow. Three butterflies cut from a panel of Botanical Butterfly DSP are scattered on the focal panel and adhered with Glue Dots. The focal panel is adhered to the Pool Party mat then the panels are adhered to the card base.
The inside Whisper White sentiment panel is stamped in Call Me Clover ink using a stamp from the Cake Soriee stamp set. A flower is also stamped in Call Me Clover on the panel. The panel is matted on a panel of Pool Party card stock and adhered to the card base using Liquid Glue. It amazes me how the flower look once it has been added to the blog post it looks nothing like that in real time. I took several pictures and each one turned out with that effect.
Thanks for stopping by today. May you find encouragement and inspiration just a bit from my card. Have a blessed day.
