Stampin’ Up! Fresh As A Daisy — Thinking of You Today!

The card I am sharing today is created using Fresh As A Day Designer Series Paper. The paper does all the work of creating a beautiful card.

I am entering Pammie’s InkyPinkies Challenge.

I used Pretty Peacock card stock as the card base and the mats for the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series paper. Usually, when I make a card using the Triple Time Technique, I cut three pieces of card stock, adhere the three pieces together using a bit of removal tape to hold the piece together while stamping a design on them. The pieces are then matted and then adhered together creating the Triple Time Technique. I did not know if this would work, but I wanted to give it a try, so I cut the largest piece, cut the second piece from it and then the third piece from the second. It worked like a dream.

Below is the size of each panel you will need to create this card. I the first panel of Designer Series Paper 4″ x 5-1/4″, out of this piece I cut the second piece 3″ x 4-1/4″ making sure borders were equal. Out of the second piece I cut the 2″ x 3″ piece, again making sure the borders were equal.

Pretty Peacock card stock for card base and mats

card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″mats
mat — 2-1/4″ x 3-1/2″
mat — 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″

I cut the two mats and adhered the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper to the mats and card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I added a greeting from Stampin’ Up! By My Side stamp set, stamping it in Versa Mark on a scrap of Pretty Peacock card stock, sprinkling White Embossing Powder over it and heat embossing using a heat tool. I added three Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls.

To a panel of Basic White card stock I added fussy cut flowers across the bottom. The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A Basic White Medium Envelope get a panel of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora with Quiet Meadow — Thinking of You!

This is an easel card I am sharing today. I used Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Floral stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Meadow Dies. It turned out to be a beautiful card. When I started it, I was not sure how it was going to turn out. It only took me from Thursday until Sunday to get it designed and created. I must learn how to make card faster.

I am entering the Can You Handle The Pressure? Challenge. Their optional theme for this challenge is floral.

I started with stamping flowers from Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Floral stamp set in Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather for two of the flowers and Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly for the other one.

I stamped flowers from Stampin’ Up! Daisy Delight stamp set and colored using Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers, next I die cut flowers from Basic White card stock using Meadow Dies and colored them using Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.

My card base is Basic White card stock cut 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″. Fold as you would for a regular card, then fold a mountain fold at the 2-2/4″ score line. This will create the part that become the easel to adhere your card front.

A panel of Basic White card stock is embossed using Timeworn Type 3-D Embossing Folder. Arrange all the flowers on this panel, adhering with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a piece of Basic White card stock stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set using Garden Green ink. Fussy cut around the greeting and pop on the card front. Pop Adhesive Back Flat Pearls around the card front.

A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments is stamped in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. Half of the panel is then embossed using the Timeworn Type 3-D Embossing Folder. The panel is then adhered to the inside of the card base. Now a flower that has been created using Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Floral stamp set is popped on the lower section of the panel in the embossed section. This flower become the stop for the easel when you unfold the card.

A Basic White Medium Envelope gets a greeting and greenery from Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend stamp set stamped in Garden Green ink on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles– Big Hugs

The card I am sharing today, I call a Twisted Ribbon Fun Fold card. I use Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set and Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I also used Vellum for my art piece and for the inside sentiment panel.

I started with a piece of Bubble Bath card stock, cut 5-1/2″ x 10-1/2″ and scored it at 2-3/8″ and 6-3/4″. I know these are weird measurements, but they are my own doing. On a piece of Vellum I stamped a flower from Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set in Versa Mark and sprinkled White Embossing Powder over the stamped image and heat set using a heat tool. Be sure to embossed on the correct side or your embossing will rub off. The Vellum piece is added to the card base on the right side panel. A greeting from the stamp set is stamped in Versa Mark on a scrap of Night of Navy card stock. It is also embossed using White Embossing Powder and a heat tool. Three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels are popped around the right panel.

I embossed the other panel of Versa Mark using another flower from Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set and sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set. I adhered the panel to the middle panel of the card base inside.

A Basic White Medium Envelope gets twisted ribbons applied to the envelope flap using the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper as the strips to create the ribbon design.

Stampin’ Up! Quite Meadow — Thinking of You

This card is simple but beautiful. I love the Stampin’ Up! Quite Meadow Stamp Set. It give you a simple and easy way to make a card that anyone would love to receive. Have you ever done something and immediately knew that is not what you intended, that has happened to me with this card. The second I adhered the flower panel, I realized I had used glue and not dimensionals I tried to remove but realized I would tear the card base if I did. My advise do not get distracted when making a card.

My card design is inspired by the card design at Sunday Stamps so I am entering their challenge for this card.

I started with a Basic White card stock card base with a panel of Basic White card stock embossed using the Splatters Embossing Folder from the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders. Using a Blending Brush and Lemon Lolly ink, I brushed a swirl of the ink over the embossed panel. I applied this to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink the flower spray from Stampin’ Up! Quite Meadow stamp set. I colored the flowers using Lemon Lolly and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. A bit of Lemon Lolly ink is brushed on the upper edge and the lower edge of the piece. It blends into the swirl of color on the embossed panel. The art piece is adhered to the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A greeting is stamped in Memento Black ink on a Basic White scrap, angled on each end and popped over the flowers using Stampin’ Dimensionals. A butterfly from my stash is brushed with Lemon Lolly ink and popped on the card from using a Stampin’ Dimensional. Adhesive Backed Solid Gems are popped around the card front.

Like the flowers on the card front the same flowers are stamped on a panel of Basic White card stock and colored with the same Stampin’ Blends as the ones used on the flowers on the card front.

A Basic White Medium Envelope gets flowers stamped to the envelope flap using the flower spray from Stampin’ Up! Quite Meadow stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! Hello Lady Bug — You Can Bug Me…

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set. This is a cute little stamp set and I am happy I decided to give it a try. I also used the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and Bough Punch.

I am entering Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge for this card.

I started by punching my ladybug from Basic Black and Real Red card stock. I punched the Garden Green card stock boughs of leaves using the Bough Punch. I punched the daisies using a Medium Daisy Punch.

I adhered the Fern 3D embossed panel to the card base using Multipurpose Glue, over the embossed panel I added a piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper. I added a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern stamp set, stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and die cut using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies. The greeting was popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I popped a Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of the daisies after giving each daisy center a brush of Daffodil Delight ink. The daisies are popped on the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The ladybug is also popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White card stock with a border from a piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set are stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. A ladybug from Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set is stamped in the corner of the Basic White panel. The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
