Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding

Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding

This is the card I made for our grandson’s wedding a few weeks ago.  I just haven’t gotten around to posting it.  This Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding Stamp Set and Dies are compliments of Amy Koenders.

As you can see, this is a fun fold.

Card Cuts:

  • Basic White cardstock
    • card base — 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
    • embossed panels (2) 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
    • car — 4-1/4′ x 5-1/2″
  • Pretty In Pink cardstock
    • scrap for hearts
  • Silver Foil
    • bumper, back window frame, tail lights, & trunk latch
  1. Using Smoky Slate ink, stamp the car image on a piece of Basic White cardstock.
  2. Stamp the greeting on a piece of Basic White cardstock, then die cut using a die from Classic Wedding Dies.
  3. Color the tires using Basic Gray Stampin’ Blends.
  4. Using Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends, color the car.
  5. Die-cut all the pieces shown on the card using dies from Classic Wedding Dies.
  6. Emboss the two Basic White panels using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
  7. Adhere with Multipurpose Glue the two embossed panels, one on the card front, the other on the inside of the card.
  8. Pop the card on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  9. Adhere all the little pieces you see on the card front to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  10. Using a black felt pen, draw the tire tracks behind the wheels.

Since it has been over a month since I made this card, I do not remember the Stamp Set for the greeting.  The one that is at the bottom for the stop for the card when it is made into an easel is from Stampin’ Up! Classic Wedding Stamp Set.  Hearts are adhered down each side of the card.

The flap of a Basic White envelope gets embossed using Glass and Garden 3D Embossing Folder.

One of the perks of being a demonstrator is to pre-order before a new catalog launches, and the Online Exclusives we get to order before they are released to customers.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card-making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card-making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.

Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia With Much Love Card

Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia With Much Love Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia Stamp Set.  I was just playing around with different colors of card stock to see how the flowers would look on each that’s how this became a card with a cropped heart in the middle.

The challenge for today is the Watercooler Wednesday  — Helen’s Challenge: All About Occasions.  This card can be for any occasion of your choice as the inside sentiment is blank and it can be added, be it birthday, celebration, congratulations, or thinking of you.  I am sure there could be many more occasions.

The card base is Cherry Cobbler card stock and as I said earlier, I was playing around seeing what this flower would look like on different colors of card stock so this was the chosen one for today.

The flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia Stamp Set is stamped in Memento Black ink onto the panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  I then cropped a big heart from the middle of the heart intending to pop one of the images from the Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Stamp Set there.  It just did not have the right appeal to me when I place it there.

After cropping the heart from the panel, I colored the flowers using Basic White Pigment Ink and a Blender Pen.  Although the ink used was white, the flowers look pink, I suppose the red of the Cherry Cobbler created this color.

After coloring the panel is adhered to a Basic White card stock mat and popped on the card front. The cropped heart is then popped back into the spot cropped from using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A smaller heart is then popped over the large one and a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Through This Together Stamp Set is popped across the heart.

Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped around the card front.

The flap of a medium Basic White envelope gets embossed using the Pretty Flowers embossing folder and several of the flowers are colored using Cherry Cobbler ink and a Blending Brush.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet

Happy Independence Day everyone!  I hope you have a fantastic celebration today!

The card I am sharing today is made using the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set.

My challenge for the day is with The Sisterhood of Crafters  Any Occasions.

And… Paper Craft Crew Challenge.   I used the middle row  Die  Cut  Element,  Favorite Color, and Floral.

The base is Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Blushing Bride card stock mat.  The focal panel is a combination of stamping and fussy cutting and dies cutting.  The pink wash behind the hearts is created using Stampin’ Up! Melon Mambo Watercolor Pencil and an Aqua Painter.

The hearts were die cut from Stampin’ Up! Lovely Lipstick and Whisper White card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine Dies.  The little cluster of hearts stamped between each of the red hearts is from the Stampin’ Up! Love You To Pieces Stamp Set and Melon Mambo ink stamped off once is used for the stamping.

The leaves were die cut from Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock and colored using Stampin’ Up! Garden Green ink.  The flowers are stamped in Stampin’ Up! Melon Mambo and Pool Party inks using a stamp from the Stampin’ up! Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set.   The little bird is fussy cut from a piece of Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad DSP.

The greeting is stamped on a scrap of Whisper White card stock using Lovely Lipstick ink using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Greeting Stamp Set and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The bow is made using Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread and popped on the card front using a Stampin’ Up! Glue Dot.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Lovely Lipstick ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock using stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Stamp Set.  The greeting doesn’t seem to be clear here, but in real time it is.  It must be the light color.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and my wish is that your day be blessed and that you find inspiration and encouragement for your own creations.

Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away

Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away  Suite and Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set.  I have been requested to create a card for a couple that will soon be married and the bride wants a card with a sailboat as her soon to be husband has one and loves sailing.

My card base is Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock embossed using my favorite embossing folder,  Stampin’ Up! Subtles Embossing Folder.

I am choosing to enter more than one challenge for the day and sure hope that my card fits them all well. In alphabetic order, they are:

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge Polka Dots and/or Stripe.  I didn’t have polka dot paper so  I created my own by making the sails of the sailboat polka dot.

Next is the Dragonfly Dreams Challenge for man or boy.  I think this one should qualify as it is for groom.

Next is the  Pinspirational Challenge   I believe the icon they provide for this challenge says it all  L-O-V-E  since my card is for a groom I believe that is love.

And… Watercooler Wednesday  Dawn’s Masculine “Anything Goes” Challenge.  So my card for a bridegroom works for this one also.

The sailboat is one of the laser cuts from the  Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack.  I added the polka dots in the sail and on the boat as I had no polka dot paper.

The greeting on the front is from the  Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack also.

The anchor trinket in the lower right corner is from the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Trinkets and is tied with a short length of Stampin’ Up! Braided Linen Trim.  The anchor is popped on the card front using a Glue Dot.

A strip of navy and white stripes from the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away DSP is cut and adhered at the bottom of the card front just below the sailboat.  This is in keeping with the  Crafty Gals Challenge to use stripes.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy ink on a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack and is adhered to a panel  of  Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.

In finishing my card I decorated a Whisper White Envelope so it will coordinate with the theme of sailboat on the card front.  I used two stickers from the Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack to decorate the envelope front. I   gave the envelope flap a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away DSP.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and my wish is that your day be blessed and that you find inspiration and encouragement for your own creations.

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence

You get another sneak peek today of the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp bundle.  (It is available to customers June 4.)  I am using it today to create my card.

I am playing with Global Design Project today.

This is really a lovely card in real time but the coloring in a photo is not too great, I don’t think.  It is a lovely pink mostly.  The flower from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set (available to customers June 4) is stamped using Stampin’ Up! Flirty Flamingo ink and punched using the coordinating Stampin’ Up! Perennial Flower Punch.  The flower in the photo looks pale pink.

All layers are put together using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.  The base is  Stampin’ Up! Balmy Blue card stock.  Next, there is a panel of Stampin’ Up! Highland Heather and final the focal panel is Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The heart trim across the bottom portion of the card front is from Stampin’ Up! Delicate Lace Dies cut from a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.  There are three Pearl Basic Jewels scattered over the card front.

The inside sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp bundle and is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Flirty Flamingo ink as is the flower in the corner.
The envelope gets a panel of the Perennial Essence DSP on the flap.

I am happy you stopped by today, thanks for doing so.  May your day be blessed!
