Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Thoughts

Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Thoughts

Happy rainy Saturday! The rain has not let up all night.  I believe we have taken the rain from Seattle it has rained so much in the past month.  The sun is probably shining there.

Today’s card features the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set,  and the Many Hearts Dies.  You can find more information about these items at the post end along with the card cuts.

Design inspiration for today’s challenge is Tuesday Morning Sketches

Since the Time Out Challenges is featuring pink and red and green, I believe my card would qualify for the challenge, even with my green being a blue-green.

Start with a Blushing Bride card stock base. Take another panel of the same cut it the same size as the card base and emboss using the Hearts Embossing Folder.  Mat this panel on a Bermuda Bay card stock panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Crop a panel from a sheet of the Oh So Ombre DSP using a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I believe I used the next to the smallest die.

Crop a heart from Real Red card stock, along with a heart from Rococo Rose card stock and Oh So Ombre  DSP using a die from the Many Hearts Dies.  The greeting stamped on the Oh So Ombre DSP is from the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set.

After adhering all the elements to the Heart embossed panel adhere the embossed panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Three pearls from the Pastel Pearls are adhered above the Many Hearts.

The sentiment panel is Basic White card stock and has hearts from the Many Hearts adhered across the panel using Multipurpose Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Sending Sunshine

Stampin’ Up! Sending Sunshine

Friday and the week is ending!  Are you looking forward to the weekend?  I know most people are getting ready for the Super Bowl on Sunday.  Not our house we gave up Pro Football several years ago.

Today’s card is the remnants of a Paper Pumpkin, I added bits and pieces to it to create the card.

My inspiration for today’s challenge comes from the Inspire, Create Challenge.  The theme for this challenge is cute critters.  I believe my cute little koala meets the requirements for cute.

The card base is a leftover from the January Paper Pumpkin as is the Blackberry Bliss card stock mat for the Dandy Garden DSP heart. Card cuts are at the bottom of this post.

The cute little koala holding the heart in his cute little paws is popped on the corner of the Dandy Garden DSP heart. The cute raccoon or squirrel from the Special Someone Stamp Set would make a perfect little critter to pop on the card holding a heart you have cropped from the Meant To Be Stamp Set. The little critter in the Dino Days Stamp Set would make a cute, cute little fellow to hold a heart for this card. Pampered Pets Stamp Set also has cute critters.

The greeting is from the Lots of Heart Stamp Set and is stamped in Calypso Coral ink.  Three Champagne Basic Jewels are popped on the card front.

The sentiment is from the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set and the Meant To Be Stamp Set.  They are stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink on the Basic White card stock panel that has a heart from the Many Hearts Dies cropped in the center of the card.  A piece of Calypso Coral card stock is placed behind the heart to show through the pin dots.

The medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Dandy Garden DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Always

Stampin’ Up! Always

Happy Wednesday everyone! Welcome!  Can you believe it is the last week of January?  Do you send valentines, if so you are busy getting them finished.  I am trying, as I did not get any Christmas cards made in 2020 because of all that consumes my time for now. Prayerfully, they will improve.

Today’s card features the Always Dies and the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set for the sentiment.  This was a super easy card to make.  I think I have said it before, sometimes it is the easiest cards that take the most time.  Do you feel that way sometimes?

My inspiration design for today is from the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.  Looking at the design you can see how simple it is.

Start with a panel of Blushing Bride card stock as the base, emboss another panel of the same using the Scripty 3D Embossing folder.  Adhere this panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Crop a panel of the Blushing Bride card stock that has been embossed using the Scripty 3D Embossing folder, use the third largest die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for the cropping. Wrap a length of Blushing Bride Metalic Ribbon around the cropped panel.

Crop the heart using one of the dies from the Always Dies, also the word LOVE cropped from a piece of the Love You Always Specialty DSP.  I cropped three hearts from a panel of Blushing Bride card stock and adhered to the Foil one so the word would have some dimension.

Pop two pearls from the Pastel Pearls in the upper right corner. It is now ready to be popped on the background panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Rococo Rose ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  A heart from the Always Dies is cropped in the center.  The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Love You Always Specialty DSP to the flap.

Forever & Always

Stampin’ Up! Forever & Always

Happy Monday everyone.  Was your weekend fun and restful?  I had another of my health challenges for the past two days.  More and more I truly believe, food has everything to do with health. My niece that had a stroke last year will agree with me.

The card I am sharing today features the Forever & Always Stamp Set and Always Dies along with the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set and Tranquil Dies.

My challenge is with The Sisterhood of Crafters.  The theme is Die Cuts and/or Embossing Folders.

And  Watercooler Wednesday WWC304 – Kath’s Challenge:  All About Occasions

My card base is a leftover from the Beary Comforting Paper Pumpkin in December 2020 as is the striped panel on the front matted on a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock.

The hearts are cropped using the Always Dies from panels of Dandy Garden DSP and the words LOVE are cropped from a panel of the Oh So Ombre DSP, a Sale-A-Bration free item with a purchase.  The LOVE in the center of the card front is cropped from the panel and the Blackberry Bliss portion is popped back into the cutout.

Several Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels are randomly placed around the card front.

The sentiment from Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink on a Basic White card stock panel.  A heart from the Many Heart Dies is used to crop the heart in the center of the card.  A small piece of Calypso Coral card stock is taped behind the heart so the color will show through the holes.

The envelope is one of the envelopes from the Beary Comforting Paper Pumpkin Kit.

The envelope flap gets a panel of the Paper Blooms DSP and your card project is finished.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!
