Humming Along with Climbing Roses and Botanical Butterfly

My card today is a mix of two stamp sets and DSP, Humming Along and Climbing Roses stamp sets and Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (DSP). I sure wish that this DSP would carry over to the new Annual Catalog, but unfortunately, it probably will not happen. I can’t remember, but maybe it has, a DSP being carried over.

My design comes from the Sunday Stamps Challenge. for this week.

My card base is Pumpkin Pie card stock cut 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ and folded on the scoreline.

Next comes a 2-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ panel of Night of Navy that has been embossed with the Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder.
A 2-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ panel of Pumpkin Pie card stock is next. It is also embossed using the Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder.
The Night of Navy and Pumpkin Pie panels are adhered to the Pumpkin Pie card base using Liquid Glue.
A Whisper White label is cut using one of the dies from the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies.
The greeting is stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink using a stamp from the Climbing Roses stamp set.
A large and small butterfly is cut from a panel of the Botanical Butterfly DSP.
The large butterfly is popped on the upper corner of the Night of Navy panel using a Stampin’ Dimensional.
The small butterfly is popped on the greeting label that has been popped into the center of the card front.
Three sequins from the Sequin Assortment are scattered over the card front.
A bow (I call it a Mary bow as she is the one who showed me how to make it) is adhered to the center of the greeting label with a Glue Dot.
The inside sentiment from the Humming Along stamp set is stamped in Blueberry Bushel on a panel of Whisper White that has been cropped using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. It is adhered to the card base using Liquid Glue.

Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop “Celebrate Spring”

Welcome everyone—it’s that time — the second Tuesday of the month—that means it is time for our Inkin’ Krew monthly blog hop. It is going to be exciting to see what all the other team members have created. I know you are going to see lots of ideas and inspiration for your own creations. Our theme for March is “Celebrate Spring”! Now on to the hop! Enjoy!!

My card is created with the You’re Inspiring Stamp Set. Since our theme is “Celebrate Spring” this stamp set is so appropriate being it has daffodils.

The design comes from Inspire Create Challenge #038 for this week.

The card base is Lemon Lime Twist card stock. Lemon Lime Twist will probably be retired this year so I am trying to use it up before that time. A panel of Bermuda Bay card stock has been embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and adhered to the card base with Liquid Glue.

The inspirations and design comes from Inspire Create Challenge

Two mats have been cut for the focal panel which is cut from a panel of the Botanical Butterfly DSP, one is Lemon Lime Twist, the other Basic Black card stock. They are all adhered together using Liquid Glue.

A Whisper White circle is cut using a Layering Circle Die and adhered to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The daffodils are stamped on thick Whisper White card stock and colored using Pineapple Punch Light and Old Olive Light Stampin’ Blends. They are then popped onto the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls set are scattered over the card front. The greeting is stamped in Bermuda Bay on a scrap of Whisper White and matted with a scrap of Lemon Lime Twist card stock.

Sweetest Thing

My inspiration and design come from Fusion Tea and Bouquet Challenge

The card starts with a Melon Mambo card base. A Whisper White panel is then adhered to the card base using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.

A panel of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper (DSP) is cut and stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink with a greeting from the stamp set Sweetest Thing.

Using the Layering Circle Framelits Dies a circle is cut from a panel from All My Love DSP. It is used as the background for the candy jars. It is popped on the How Sweet It Is DSP panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the dies from the Sweetest Things stamp bundle (the framelits dies with this bundle are called Jar of Sweets.) two candy jars with candy are cut from the How Sweet It Is DSP. Several different candies including a big lollipop are fussy cut from a panel of the How Sweet It Is DSP. All of these are popped on the All My Love DSP Circle. Three Gingham Gala sequins are scattered around the card front.

The sentiment is stamped in Melon Mambo ink on a panel of Whisper White. The sentiment is from the Strong and Beautiful stamp set and the Meant To Be stamp set. The heart stamped in the lower right corner is also from the Meant To Be stamp set and is stamp using Melon Mambo Ink.
