Stampin’ Up! In The Woods

Hope you are had a beautiful day. Fall is in the air for sure. It has only taken 3 days to get this finished. I have been distracted by an almost 4-year-old.

The card I am sharing today is from Stampin’ Up! In The Woods Dies.

My challenge for today is with Try Stamping On Tuesday.

Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce card stock is the base, then I have two mats, Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White card stock for the Stampin’ Up! wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The scalloped strip down the side of the Wrapped in Plaid panel is from cut from a Stampin’ Up! Copper Foil Sheet using a pair of scissors that is at least 30-35 years old. Are you old enough to remember the scissors that were used in the day to make decorative edges? 🙂

The trees from Shaded Spruce card stock are cropped using Stampin’ Up! In The Woods Dies and popped on the Wrapped in Plaid panel using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The gold braid is wrapped around the Wrapped in Plaid panel three times crossing in the middle each time. I do not have the Stampin’ Up! Copper Trim so I substituted some gold braid I found in my box of scrap ribbons. The Happy Birthday from the Stampin’ Up! Here’s A Card Stamp Set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and then fussy cut to the shape of the Happy Birthday. The two stars are from the Stampin’ Up! Star Designer Elements.

The inside sentiment is from two Stampin’ Up! Stamp Sets — Here’s A Card and Itty Bitty Birthday. The artwork is from Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Stamp Set.

In finishing, I gave a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope a panel of the Wrapped in Plaid DSP.

Happy Birthday

Happy Saturday everyone! Hope your week-end is going fantastic.

You are seeing cards from a future little stamper today.

I’ve spent the last two days with a 4-year-old and these are the results of what I have been doing. I would put that precious little one’s picture on here but her dad would have a hissy so you will just have to see the cards she made. “GG, I need to wear your apron so I won’t get paint on my dress.”

See her blob of red paint, that’s her artwork she said. Her word “artwork” Wonder where she heard it. I showed her what to do and did have to help her press on the punches. Her reply was GG, I think I need your help to press down. She did all the rest herself. Maybe she used a bit too much glue but for being nearly 4, she did great. She loved the Big Shot!

The little black heart is for Dommie (her grandmother) that’s what she calls her. Because Dommie likes black she wears it a lot (real observant) That is like my husband’s name, her dad couldn’t say Grandy when he was little, so he said Dandy, so we have a Dandy at our house instead of a Grandy, Grandpa, Papa etc.

Posting this one I notice how good she did the dog. I don’t think I could have done better.

I could go on and on, she had a story for each thing she put on the cards.

Hope you enjoy my cards today. No time for my own with chasing a soon to be 4 years old. One of these cards is for her birthday she said.

Stampin’ Up! Let It Snow

Hello Everyone, we are looking at a great weekend right! Sunshine, hot, clear, heading toward Fall but the hot summer days are still here. We could probably use a little of the cool weather that comes with snow, but I think I had rather have it hot and no snow. 97 degrees at my house on Friday.

The challenges I am joining today are Tuesday Morning Sketches.

And… Watercooler Wednesday – Tristan’s “All About Occasions” Challenge.

The card I am sharing today is another simple one that requires mostly cutting. It is created using Stampin’ Up! Let It Snow Designer Series Paper (DSP). This DSP is so cute and sweet for creating a cheery Christmas card or a winter birthday card or a plain ole thinking of you card. You can see how it is created by looking at the card and the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge. It is put together using either Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

This is another card for my Christmas card making. I have really got to get more serious about making because I make so many I do not want it to be November and I am behind big time.

Stampin’ Up! Tidings All Around Stamp Set is the current stamp set with the “Tidings of Comfort and Joy” sentiment. Mine is from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Pines (retired).

I finished my project by decorating the flap of a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope with a panel of the Let It Snow DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Come To Gather

Can’t believe it is Friday already. It has been a busy week. My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Come To Gather Designer Series Paper and stamps from the Stampin’ Up! August 2019 Paper Pumpkin. I am making Thanksgiving cards and the stamps in the August Paper Pumpkin are perfect.

My challenge is with Freshly Made Sketches. The designers have some beautiful cards you should see.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze as is the background panel that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

The panel across the middle is from Stampin’ Up! Come To Gather Designer Series Paper as are the pumpkins that are fussy cut and colored using a Stampin’ Up! Light Mango Medley Stampin’ Marker. They are popped on using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Stampin’ Up! Old Olive green leaves on the pumpkin are cut using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Botanical Tags Dies. The greeting is stamped on the Come To Gather DSP panel using Versa Mark and Stampin’ Up! Gold Embossing Powder and the heat tool.

The inside sentiment is also from the Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set. I stamped the leaves three times in Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile ink using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Stamp Set.

I stamped a leaf from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set on the corner of the Very Vanilla envelope using Terracotta Tile ink. I gave the envelope flap a panel of the same DSP that is on the card front so they would coordinate.

Stampin’ Up! Woven Threads

In creating the card I am sharing today, Stampin’ Up! Woven Threads Designer Series Paper (DSP) is the focal point. I have not used this DSP before and never really given it a good look. It has some lovely designs and colors. I noticed that all the Stampin’ Up! 2019-2021 In- Colors are represented in this DSP. I’ve added the rose from the April 2019 Paper Pumpkin Inspirational Rose stamp set. It matches the rose in the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Stamp Set.

My challenge for the day is with Sketch Saturday.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile card stock. There are two mats that are Stampin’ Up! Seaside Spray card stock and one that is Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile card stock. All pieces are adhered together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The Seaside Spray panel with the Rose is popped on using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I’ve added a bow made from Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread to rose. The rose was stamped on the Seaside Spray panel using Seaside Spray ink, then another rose was stamped and fussy cut and popped over the one stamped on the panel. A leaf was stamped using Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock ink. 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dots are randomly placed on the card front.

The inside sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. A small panel of the Woven Threads DSP is adhered at the bottom of the sentiment panel and then the panel is matted on a panel of Seaside Spray cardstock and adhered to the card base.

In finishing, I adhered a panel of the DSP to the envelope flap to coordinate with the card front.
