Stampin’ Up! Abigail Rose Just Thinking of You

Stampin’ Up! Abigail Rose Just Thinking of You

The card I am sharing is created using the Basic Border Dies and Abigail Rose DSP.  I, also, used a retired embossing folder to emboss a panel of Basic Black card stock.  This is a semi CAS of Jillian Good’s  card.  I loved how her card looks so I had to make one, but I changed my design to fit the challenge I am entering.

My challenge for today is with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  I really like the sketch challenge they have given us this week.

I started with a Basic Black card stock card base, then embossed a panel of the Basic Black using the retired Subtle Embossing Folder.  I adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Abigail Rose DSP, colored one flower using Sweet Sorbet Blending Markers, cropped using the Basic Border Dies and popped on the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I masked a portion of the greeting from a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips stamp set, stamped it in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and then to a piece of Basic White card stock.  After the ink dried, I cropped the greeting using a circle die.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel colored using the Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Marker.  The circle was then popped over the Basic Black strip that had been cropped using a die from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

The piece that was cropped from the front panel is used on the inside panel.  A flower is also colored on this piece using a Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Marker.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Abigail Rose DSP adhered to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days Hello You Card

Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days Hello You Card

The card I am sharing today is a  CAS of Susan LaVassauer.  It is a beautiful card.  It is created using the Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days stamp set, along with DSP from the Heart & Home DSP.

My challenge for the day is A Place to Start A Challenge and Resource Community.  Their theme is Anything Goes with an optional twist of Key it Simple.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of Misty Moonlight card stock used as the background for the Heart & Home DSP & Detailed Dahlia Dies panel.

A panel of Heart & Home DSP is cut with a 1″ border all around to create the frame.  The large die from the Detailed Dahlia Dies is cropped from a panel of Basic White card stock and adhered behind the frame.

The Dahlia image from the Stampin’  Up! Dahlia Days stamp set is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and cropped using the die from the Detailed Dahlia Dies.  The leaves are stamped in Just Jade ink and cropped using the leaves die from the same set of dies.  The dahlias are arranged on the card front and adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The greeting is stamped in Just Jade ink, but I just can not remember the stamp set.

The sentiment is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  A leaves image from the Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days stamp set is stamped in Just Jade ink in opposite corners.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Heart & Home DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are in the post instead of at the end of the post as they usually are.

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Thinking of You Card

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Thinking of You Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips stamp set.  I also used the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder, New horizon DSP, Detailed Dahlias Dies, and Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

My color inspiration for my card today comes from the Sunday Stamps Challenge.  It is a color challenge, use three of the colors in your card.

The tulips in the Hand Stamped Sentiments Stamping Challenge inspired me to create tulips for my card.

I am also entering the Just Us Girls Challenge — it is Photo Week and the photo of tulips, daffodils, and birds add to my inspiration for creating a card with tulips.

My card base is Basic White card stock. I cropped a panel of Basic White using a die from the Detailed Dahlias Dies and adhered to the card base. A Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewel is popped in the center of one flower on the Detailed Dahlias.

A panel of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder.  It is then matted on a panel of Rich Razzleberry card stock and adhered over the Detailed Dahlia cropped image.

Using tulip dies from the Tulip Dies, tulips are cropped from panels of New Horizon DSP.  Using one of the New Horizon panels gives a great variety of colors for the tulips.  Leaves and stems are cropped from Basic White card stock and the leaves are embossed using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. The tulips and leaves are then adhered to the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Glue Dots.  Wink of Stella is flicked over the card front.

A greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulip is masked using a piece of Washi Tape to cover the word I do not want in the greeting.  It is then stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock, fussy cut, and popped on the card front.

A panel of Basic White card stock is matted on a panel of Rich Razzleberry card stock and adhered to the inside of the card base.  Flowers from the Tulip Dies are cropped and adhered across the bottom of the panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel from the New Horizion DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

If you would like to create this card all the products used are in the post instead of at the end of the post as they usually are.

Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Celebrate Card

Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Celebrate Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream stamp set along with the Hive 3-D Embossing Folder

My challenge for the day is Just Us Girls Challenge  — the theme this week is Embossing Folders.

I stamped the daffodil images on a panel of Basic White card stock using Smoky Slate ink.  I colored the daffodils using So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. Two daffodils are stamped on another panel of the card stock, colored, fussy cut, and popped on the lower portion along with an extra added to the one fussy cut to give it more dimension.

Two butterflies are stamped and colored using Balmy Blue and Pale Papya Stampin’ Blends Markers then fussy cut.  Dots are stamped around the daffodils using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream stamp set.

A greeting is stamped on a scrap of You’re A Peach DSP.  It is popped below the daffodils.  A Crumb Cake bow is made using twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack.  It is adhered to the daffodil stems using a Mini Glue Dot.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Hive 3-D Embossing Folder.  It is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The art panel with the daffodils is now adhered to the card base.

A panel of Basic White is cropped using a die from the Border Dies.  A sentiment from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set is stamped in Soft Suede onto the panel. It is popped over a panel of You’re a Peach DSP.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel from the  You’re A Peach DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving

No card today as I celebrate  Thanksgiving with my family.  Have a blessed day celebrating with your family and friends.  If it isn’t Thanksgiving where you are have a blessed day.  We should have Thanksgiving each day and be thankful we live in the United States, even with all her problems, she is still the best country in the world.  Be thankful for our military and first responders as they are out there protecting us this Thanksgiving day.

So, on this day, eat too much, laugh too much with family, enjoy football games if you watch football, have another piece of that pie later in the day, take a nap, get up and have another piece of that pie before you collapse into bed for the evening.  Have a great fun day filled with many blessings,

Shirley
