Stampin’ Up! Sunkissed Trees For Sale

Stampin’ Up! Sunkissed Trees For Sale

The card I am sharing today is a slim line easel fun fold card.  First time trying one.  I wanted to make this card but there were too many elements for the card.  Mary Deatherage did her Facebook Live on Saturday and she did a slim line fun fold using these dies.  Her slim card was the perfect solution for my card.  Her card was so beautiful.  You can probably see it tomorrow on her blog.

I am using the Trees for Sale Dies and the Stampin’ Up! Sunkissed Stamp Set.

My card is a fun fold so I am entering the Creative Crease Challenge –  it is always a fun fold.

I am also entering the Hand Stamped Sentiment Challenge — I have a camper on my card.

The card base is Night of Navy card stock.

  • All the Basic White panels have been brushed with a Blending Brush using either Balmy Blue ink for the sky and ocean or Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks.
  • I stamped the palm tree from Stampin’ Up! Sunkissed Stamp Set using Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Pens.
  • On the umbrella and chairs from the same stamp set, I used Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, and Coastal Cabana inks.
  • I fussy cut both and adhered to the panel that pops up to make the easel.
  • I cropped the camper from Basic White card stock. I cropped the Bermuda Bay panels of the camper and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • A piece of Vellum card stock is colored using a So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker and adhered to the back of the windows to give the appearance of sunlight shining into the camper.
  • I cropped the lights and poles from Basic White card stock and colored them using a So Saffron and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker.
  • The poles are adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the lights are strung between the poles, palm tree, camper, and umbrella.
  • The camper hitch and the tire are colored using a black Stampin’ Write Marker.
  • The wreath is cropped from Basic White card stock and colored using a Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Marker then adhered to the door of the camper.
  • The bow is cropped from a scrap of Coastal Cabana card stock and adhered to the wreath

The inside panel that holds the stop for the easel has palm trees like the one on the card front colored with the same Stampin’ Write Pens and stamped in the middle of the colored panel.  The greeting from Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints stamp set is stamped on a scrap of Basic White card stock using Early Espresso ink and brushed with Crumb Cake ink.  It is the stop for the easel and is popped on using double Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The pelican is stamped in Smoky Slate ink and his beak is colored using a So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker.  He is popped over so pebbles using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

This is the way the back side when the card is closed or the bottom of the card when it is in the easel position looks.  I left space at the top to write a message and then forgot and stamped birds, realized that just now when typing this.  I will have to attach another piece of card stock on the inside of the easel for writing.

A medium Basic White envelope gets pelicans stamped to the envelope flap using Smoky Slate ink.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

Card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly Christmas Card

Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly Christmas Card

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set for the greeting and sentiment, and the Stampin’ Up! Fern 3D Embossing Folder.

I am entering the Alphabet Challenge for this post as this is a Christmas card and their challenge is H for Holidays.

I started with a card base of Basic White card stock.  I embossed a panel of the Basic White card stock using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the Basic White base.  I cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper (DSP) and adhered it to the embossed panel.  Another sprig of greenery from Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and cropped using a die from Stampin’ Up! Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder.

A panel of Basic White card stock is cropped using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Scalloped Contour Dies.  Holly Leaves are cropped from Basic White card stock using a die from Stampin’ Up! Holly Berry Dies.  Sprigs of greenery are cropped from Shaded Spruce card stock using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Holly Berry Dies.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Basic White card stock scrap and cropped using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stylish Shapes Dies.  A Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Marker is used to highlight the edges of the greeting circle.

A length of Real Red Faux Ribbon is tied into a bow.  All the elements are now ready to adhered to the scalloped embossed panel with Mini Glue Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  After all the elements are adhered the bow is popped in the corner of the panel.  Rhinestone Basic Jewels are colored using a Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker and popped around the card front.

Flowers are fussy cut from a panel of the same Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper (DSP) as the one used for the background on the card front. These flowers are adhered to the bottom and top alternate corner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Hope & Peace stamp set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink in the middle of the pane.  The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Stampin’ Up! Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap.

    • scalloped panel — 2-1/8″ x 3-1/2″

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose

The card shared today is created using Abigail Rose DSP, a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose stamp set, a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips stamp set and Stampin’ Blends Markers in Petal Pink and Soft Succulent.

The card base is 4-1/4″ x 11″ Soft Suede card stock ( you can see in the photo above where to score and fold the card) with panels of Abigail Rose DSP in two different patterns adhered to the card front.  A greeting is stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock, cropped using a circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies, and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The flower pot is a piece of Early Espresso card stock embossed using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder after creating the pot. Cut a 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ of Early Espresso,  measure 1/2″ from each side of the bottom of the square, mark with a pencil, and trim from the top corners to the 1/2″ mark at the bottom to create the pot.  This example is from another post and the flower pot is embossed in the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

This is a flower pot easel card created using Abigail Rose DSP.  Score your Soft Suede 4-1/4″ x 11″ card stock at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″.  Fussy cut the flowers from the Abigail Rose DSP and color the flowers using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Petal Pink and Soft Succulent.  Adhere Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper to the card base. Two different patterns of the DSP are used.  Cards cuts will be at the end of this post.

At the score line fold this section up.  Adhere the flower pot just above the score line probably 1/2″ above. I used tear & tape but I would think other adhesives would work just as well.  Pop Stampin’ Dimensionals on the flowers, be sure to notice where you are adding them so you will not place in a spot that will cause your card to be sealed.  A sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Cottage Rose stamp set is stamped in Soft Suede ink on a piece of Basic White card stock and fussy cut.  It is adhered to the card to create the stop for your flower pot.

Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dot are popped around the card front.  A bow is made using a length of Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon.  It is popped on the card front using a Mini Glue Dot.

A medium Basic White envelope gets DSP from Abigail Rose DSP applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampn’ Up! Cup of Tea

Stampn’ Up! Cup of Tea

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea stamp set, Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, Stylish Shapes Dies, and Tea Boutique DSP.

My challenge for today is with Sunday Stamps.  I like their color palette for this challenge.

I started with a card and envelope from the Stampin’ Up! Tea Boutique Cards & Envelope pack.  I cut a piece of the Tea Boutique DSP adhering to the card base.  I cut another piece and embossing using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed piece over the flowers.

I fussy cut a teapot from a panel of the Tea Boutique DSP. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals the teapot is popped on a Basic White card stock circle cropped using a die from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I fussy cut a bunch of flowers from a panel of the Tea Boutique DSP.  I popped it over the teapot using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea is stamped in Orchid Oasis ink and cropped using a die from the Sending Dies.  It is popped below the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used an envelope from the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes to create the sentiment panel.   A sentiment is stamped in Orchid Oasis ink on the panel and then adhered to the card base.

A medium Basic White envelope gets the envelope flap from an envelope in the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Another portion of the envelope is adhered down the left side of the envelope front.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms Sending A Little Message

Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms Sending A Little Message

The card I am sharing today is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms and Bottled Happiness Stamp Sets.

The Allsorts Challenge is always Anything Goes sometimes with an option. The option this time is Sun, Sea, and Sand

I am entering the NBUS challenge because I have not used the stamps used in creating this card.

Since I have a birthday card, I thought I would join Seize the Birthday at the last minute.

I started by creating my cloud panel. You can see how I did the clouds from the diagram above.

Again, I used sticky notes to create the ocean. You can see where the ocean meets the sky, I put a sticky note over the portion that would have clouds, then tore another one to create the sand.  The ocean between these two sticky notes was colored using Balmy Blue and Pacific Point ink.  Once that portion was colored, I used Crumb Cake and Soft Suede to create the sand and the sand mounds.  The clouds were done last and you can see the diagram as how they are created.

One of the bottle stamps from Stampin’ Up! Bottled Happiness stamp set is stamped in Starry Night ink on Vellum, allowed to dry, the cut in half to fit the bottle behind the sand mound.

I stamped my palm trees in Old Olive ink and used a Stampin’ Write Soft Suede pen to color the palm tree trunk.  I fussy cut after die cutting because I did not like the large white border around the edges.  Grass is cropped from a scrap of Old Olive card stock and popped over a sand mound. The palm tree, grass and sand mound are adhered used Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Bottled Happiness stamp set is stamped in Soft Suede onto the sand mound.  The mound is then popped over the bottle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Several Basic White dots are colored using a Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends marker.  I used the one that is for the darkest skin tone.  These are popped at the foot of the tree in the grass and on the tree.  These are my version of coconuts.

My Basic White card stock cloud-created panel gets a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms stamp set stamped in Pacific Point ink, it is then matted on a panel of Balmy Blue card stock and adhered to the card base.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a panel of Flowering Fields DSP, retired, adhered to the envelope flap. This panel of DSP is clouds and is the right color so I used it instead of creating clouds on the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.
