Stampin’ Up! Mixed Media Florals — Thinking Of You

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Media Florals — Thinking Of You

The card cuts are listed on each piece above.  The Designer Series Paper, Mixed Media Florals and Mixed Media Florals Memories and More Card Pack do all the work in creating this card.  The only stamping is the greeting.

Adhere the Poppy Parade cardstock piece embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder to the Poppy Parade cardstock base using adhesive of choice.  I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue for this and most of the other pieces that were adhered.  Cut a piece of Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper 3″ x 4″ and cut diagonally.  Adhere these two diagonally cut pieces to the upper left and lower right corners of the card base over the embossed panel.

Emboss the 2″ x 4″ Basic White cardstock piece using the Plaster Paint 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere the embossed piece to the back of the focal piece, leaving a border on the left side and the top left.  Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the focal piece, popping the piece over the two diagonally cut pieces.  Stamp a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Framing Stamp Set on a piece of Basic White cardstock, die-cutting using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  Cut off the bottom of the circle, popping the greeting at the top of the focal piece.  Wrap a length of black twine around the card front and tie a bow.

Basic White envelope gets a panel from the Mixed Floral Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I am happy you stopped by today.  I hope you take the time to linger and look at my other blog posts and cards, and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. I hope and wish you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Have a blessed day!

Questions? You can Contact Me.  I’d love to be your Demonstrator if you need any stamping supplies.  Just click on the Shop Now button on the top right side of the screen to go directly to my online store.  You can Shop in my online store HERE

  • Ready to Join our team?  Click HERE  for more information. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is to pre-order before a new catalog launches so you can show your customers what they can look forward to having when the new catalog comes out.  You will also be getting at least a 20% discount on purchases. If you love card-making as a hobby, you can still be a demonstrator and get that discount to help get more card-making items,  or you can be like I was and buy Stampin’ Up! products for 10 years before I became wise enough to become a demonstrator to get the discount.  When I think of all the stamping products that 20% would have brought over those 10 years, I cringe.

Stampin’ Up! has some Online Exclusive items that are available to order now!!  You won’t find these products in any catalog, they’ll only be listed in the online store.  They’re also only available while supplies last, so order early for the best selection!

The Online Exclusive product releases will continue throughout the year so there will be new products to shop from, in addition to new catalogs!

Paper Pumpkin Price Increase

Beginning April 11, Paper Pumpkin is increasing its subscription prices to accommodate rising manufacturing costs. All new subscriptions purchased on or after April 11 will be at the new price.
The price increase will go toward product value—which means that demonstrators will earn more on order commissions. In addition, starting Tuesday, April 15, Paper Pumpkin subscriptions will qualify for rewards through the new Stampin’ Rewards program.

The first kit at the new price, the May Mountain Majesties Kit, will bill on May 11 at 12:01 a.m. (MT).

STAMPIN’ REWARDS CHANGES AS OF  APRIL 15, 2025

Stampin’ Up! is updating their Rewards Program beginning mid-April!

The current Stampin’ Rewards program that Stampin’ Up! has had for many years will be going away
Bottom line? You’ll be able to earn Stampin’ Rewards on smaller orders!  Whoo-hoo!!
Here’s the details:

  • You’re not going to have to place a large order of $150+ to earn free product, as it is with the current Stampin’ Rewards system.
  • Starting  April 15,  2025 at 8 AM MT and moving forward, you’ll earn 10% rewards with orders of $20+!! So…for example, when you place an order of $50 you’ll earn a $5 reward to use the next time you shop!
  • You can save your rewards for up to a year! So, you can spend them on a future order all at once or a little at a time.  Boom!
  • Additionally, the “host code” is going away….so beginning April 15, 2025, you won’t need to apply my current host code to your order.
    • Please note – this DOES mean that my $10 thank you gifts will also be going away on  April 15, 2025, since I used the host rewards to “purchase” those gifts for everyone.  But – since YOU’LL be earning 10% back in rewards directly from Stampin’ Up! with every order of $20+, then you’re going to be able to cash in those rewards for anything you’d like – on any order you want to use them on!

What should you know now to prepare for these changes?
Here are a few things that you can do to make the transition to the new program as smooth as possible:

  • You DO need to have a Stampin’ Up! online store account at stampinup.com so you can earn and redeem rewards.
    • I will NOT be able to create and manage customer accounts. I can still help you with ordering if you need me to, but, because of stricter banking policies and data/privacy laws, you’ll need to officially be in charge of your own customer account for earning & redeeming rewards.  So make sure you’re able to log in at stampinup.com.
  • NOTE! You must “opt in” to the program to earn and redeem Stampin’ Rewards.  When you place your first order after  April 15 – you’ll have the chance to “Opt In”.  That’s a good time to do it so you’ll earn Rewards on THAT order!  But – if you decide NOT to at that point – you can always do it on a future order!
  • Don’t want a Stampin’ Up! online store account?? You can still have me place your order for you!  You won’t get the Stampin’ Rewards directly – they’ll come to me and I’ll apply them to a future order for you.
  • If you DO NOT want to “Opt in” to the rewards program, you don’t have to – you can still place orders, but be aware that you won’t receive the Stampin’ Rewards for your purchases.

Again these changes will begin  April 15, 2025 at 8 AM Mountain Time.  I’m letting you know a little early so that you’re ready for the changes.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Abundance September 2024 Paper Pumpkin

The cards I am sharing today are ones created using elements from September 2024 Autumn Abundance Paper Pumpkin.  So far I have made 19 cards using this Paper Pumpkin.  I still have elements to make at least 6 more.  I did use Timber 3D Embossing Folder, Falling Leaves 3D Embossing Folder, Blueberry Bushel cardstock and Cajun Craze cardstock for the card bases.

I used a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Stamp Set and a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions Stamp Set.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used In This Project

Stampin’ Up! CTMH Secret Garden

Stampin’ Up! CTMH Secret Garden

The card I am sharing is created using designer series paper from CTMH.  CTMH is a company Stampin’ Up! has acquired and I loved this designer series paper and the stamp set.  The name of the stamp set is Secret Garden.  I still have the Stampin’ Up! Secret Garden stamp set that has long, long been retired.  Since the flowers are entirely different and it is such beautiful set.  It also has dies.

I also used the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set for the greeting and Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions stamp set for the sentiment.

Card Cuts:

  • Basic White cardstock
    • embossed panel card front — 4″ x 5-1/4″
    • inside sentiment panel — 3″ x 4-1/4″
    • embossed strip inside — 1″ x 4-1/4″
    • die cut squares inside — 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
  • Secret Garden Designer Series Paper
    • piece on card front — 1-3/4″ x 5-1/2″
    • inside panel — 4-1/8″ 5-3/8″
    • envelope — 2-1/4″ x 6″

The card base is one of the card and envelopes that come with the Secret Garden Bundle.

A panel of Basic White cardstock is embossed using Timber 3D Embossing Folder.  The piece is then adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A 1-3/4′ x 5-1/2″ piece of Secret Garden Designer Series Paper is layered over the embossed piece. The beautiful flowers are fussy cut from Secret Garden Designer Series Paper.  They are popped over the pink strip using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Gems from the bundle are popped around the card front also.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set is stamped on a scrap of Basic White cardstock, trimmed with the paper trimmer, two tiny strips of the designer series paper are added to the top and bottom of the greeting.  The greeting is popped on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A panel of the pink designer series paper from Secret Garden Designer Series Paper is adhered to the left panel the inside card base. A 1″ strip of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder.  The strip is adhered across the middle of the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Three squares are die cut using three different sizes of dies from Stylish Shapes Dies.   They are stacked and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A rose bud from the Secret Garden Designer Series Paper is adhered in the  center of the top square.

A Basic White envelope gets a panel CTMH Secret Garden Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
