Stampin’ Up! Encircled In Nature

Stampin’ Up! Encircled In Nature

My card I am sharing today is  a birthday card for my grandson and is created using Stampin’ Up! Encircled  In Nature stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set, Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set, Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and Stampin’ Up! Meadow Dies.

I am entering Pammie’s Inky Pinkies Challenge for this card.

I started with a Blueberry Bushel cardstock card base, adding a layer of Basic White cardstock embossed using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, then a half layer of Blueberry Bushel cardstock embossed with the same embossing folder.

I colored a piece of Basic White card stock using Blueberry Bushel ink and a Blending Brush.  Using a die from Encircled In Nature dies, I lightly drew a circle on the colored piece.  I stamped the trees from Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink over the edge of the circle.  The moon and stars were stamped with Versa Mark ink, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat set using a heat tool.  The art piece is popped over the embossed pieces using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A die from Encircled in Nature Dies is die cut from a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock and adhered around the lightly drawn circle.  Trees are die cut from Shaded Spruce and Old Olive cardstock.  The trees are popped around the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock, die cut using a die from Meadow Dies.  Two pieces of Gold Faux Leather trim is looped through the ends of the greeting piece and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set are stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock.  Trees are stamped in the corner of the panel using Shaded Spruce ink.

A piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock is embossed with the same embossing folder as used on the front of the card.  It is then adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you took the time to linger and look at my other blog post and cards and that you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself. Feel free to CAS(E) any card. Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me. Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends — Enjoy Your Day

Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends — Enjoy Your Day

Kind of been under the weather the past few days and just did not have the energy to even make a card.  It was a chore to just walk across the floor.  Haven’t had one of these in a while.  It is so irritating when it happens.  All I can do is lie down until it passes.  Lasted longer this time, but much better now. Have you enjoyed my tale of Whoa!?😁

My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends stamp set.  I also used one of the wood trees from March 2024 Paper Pumpkin and a piece of one of the cards.  I believe these cards in this Paper Pumpkin coordinate well with Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper.

My challenge for this card is Krafty Chicks Challenge.    I just finished as Guest Designer there for the month of March.  It was quiet an experience.  Makes me appreciate with lot of admiration for the ones that are in charge of Challenges.

Ellibelle’s  Crafty Wednesday –  April Challenge

My card base is Highland Heather cardstock with a layer of Gorgeous Grape as a mat for the piece of the card from the March Paper Pumpkin that I used.  The Paper Pumpkin piece was trimmed and adhered to the Gorgeous Grape cardstock mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue

A wood tree from the Paper Pumpkin is colored with Granny Apple Green ink and a Blending Brush.  I was a bit afraid to use my Blends because it being wood, I thought it might ruin the tip of the pen.  I find that just coloring a rhinestone or pearl fuzzies up the tip.  The Paper Pumpkin piece was trimmed and adhered to the Gorgeous Grape cardstock mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

An image from Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  It is colored using Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends.  The image is then fussy cut and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhesive Backed Dragon Flies and Birds are popped around the card front.

The sentiments from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Lazy Days stamp set is stamped in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  A scrap from Meandering Meadow Designer Series Paper is adhered down the left side of the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

An envelope from the March Paper Pumpkin is used as the envelope instead of decorating the flap of a Basic White envelope.

KRAFTY CHICKS CHALLENGE #709

KRAFTY CHICKS CHALLENGE #709

Krafty Chicks Challenge #70 —  All Occasion — Lori

I have the honor of being the Guest Chick for Krafty Chicks Challenge for the month of March.   This is week my final week as a Guest Designer for Krafty Chicks and it has been quiet an experience.  Thank you Krafty Chicks for inviiting me.   The theme this week is All Occasion.  This probably is the easiest challenge because you can choose your theme. Literally Anything Goes, card, gift box, scrapbook page, etc.

The card I am sharing today is created using Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set.

Start with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock.  Score at 2″, 3-1/8″, 5-3/8″, and 6-1/2″.  Fold the first one as a Valley Fold, the second as a Mountain Fold, the third as a Mountain Fold and the fourth as a Valley Fold.  This will give you the fun fold.

Cut a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock, embossing with the Crosshatch folder from the Basic 3D Embossing Folders.  Adhere this piece to the center of the cardbase as shown in the above photo.  Cut two pieces of  Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper and adhere on the right and left side of the card front.  From a panel of Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper fussy cut four flowers with leaves. From Mossy Meadow and Granny Apple Green cardstock die cut leaves and stems using dies from Simply Zinnia Dies.  Arrange these over the Granny Apple center piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Stamp a greeting from the stamp set in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  Die cut the greeting using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies.  Pop it over the flower stems using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Cut a panel for the back of the card.  Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set in Memento Black ink  on the panel.  Fussy cut another zinnia from the Designer Series Paper and adhere in the lower corner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere the sentiment panel to the right side panel on the back as shown in the above photo.

A Basic White envelope gets a piece of Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Fluffiest Friends

Stampin’ Up! Fluffiest Friends

This is a fun card to make.  This is the first time I have used this cute stamp set.  It make a cute and fun card.  The stamp set I am talking about is Stampin’ Up! Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set.  I also used Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine, Hooray For Surprises, and Lifetime of Love stamp sets.  I also used a die from Everyday Detail Dies, also the fun Bee Mine Designer Series Paper.

I am joining these challenges for this card.

Addicted To Stamps  — theme this challenge is Any Occasion

Allsorts Challenge  — theme this challenge Keep It Simple

Elliebelle’s Crafty Wednesday — theme  Anything Goes

Never Before Used Schtuff — always use something never used before

Tic Tac Toe Challenge —  Free, Flowers, Ribbon

This is a stack, cut, shuffle card.  I used Bee Mine Designer Series Paper as the paper.  You will need 4 different patterns of paper.  I used only 2 sheets of designer series paper as I used both sides of the paper for my four.  If you use paper with the pattern going a certain direction be sure to cut so it will be in the right direction.  I used a piece of Vellum cut to size and placed it over the two pieces that have the pattern going in one direction.  I drew lines  very lightly with a pencil on the Vellum  so I would be able to see exactly where to cut.

  • Stack your paper the way you want the design to be.
  • Cut all 4 pieces at the same time. I changed my paper trimmer blade to make sure it was sharp to cut all the way through 4 layers.
  • Carefully lay the cut pieces out as you are making 4 card ( you will be, this technique gives you  enough for 4 cards)
  • This is how the other three card fronts will look and it gives you an idea of the layout.
  • Using a die from Everyday Details Dies die cut a circle from Vellum cardstock.  Using the largest circle.
  • Stamp the bear with honey image, the tree branch and the bee hive on a piece of Basic White cardstock using Pecan Pie ink.
  • Die cut the images using dies from Fluffiest Friends Dies.
  • Die cut leaves and grass from Granny Apple Green cardstock using dies from  Fluffiest Friends Dies.
  • Color the images using Crumb Cake, Wild Wheat, and  Sweet Sorbet Blends.
  • Arrange the images over the Vellum circle, adhering with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensonials.
  • Pop Adhesive Backed Cork Rounds on the card front along with 2023-2025 In Color Dots.
  • Stamp a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Hooray For Surprises stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Lifetime Of Love stamp set in Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock.
  • Fussy cut a bee and honey jars from Bee Mine Designer Series Paper and adhered to the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • A Basic White envelope get a piece of Bee Mine Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
