Stampin’ Up! Quite Curvy

Happy weekend!

The Quite Curvy Stamp Set is the featured stamp set for today.

My inspiration is from the Academy ScrapArt Challenge January 2021. Their theme for this challenge is Black & White

I love creating black & white cards. They always look so elegant. This was a simple card to make. I made two since they were so quick to make.

Start with a Basic White card stock card base. Mat a panel of True Love DSP on a panel of Basic Black card stock and adhere to the card base.

Crop a panel of Basic Black card stock using a die from the Curvy Dies. Using Whisper White Craft ink stamp the greeting using a stamp from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set. Part of the stamp was masked as I only wanted the “thinking of you” portion.

Fussy cut one of the flowers from the True Love DSP and adhere to the corner of the Basic Black cropped panel.

Stamp a greeting from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock that has been matted on a panel of Basic Black card stock. A flower from the True Love DSP is fussy cut and popped in the corner.

The medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the True Love DSP added to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery with Majestic Mountain

Today I am sharing a card created using Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper and the Majestic Mountain Dies that coordinate with the Mountain Air Stamp Set. It makes for a simple, easy card that is pretty.

The inspiration for the design is from the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.

Start with a card base of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock with a panel of Whisper White card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Cut seven 15/16″ x 2-1/8″ strips from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Greenery DSP and adhere down the right side of the embossed panel using Multipurpose Glue.

Crop the tree using the Stampin’ Up! Majestic Mountain Dies and adhere to the Whisper White embossed portion of the panel. Stamp the greeting from Stampin’ Up! Rooted in Nature stamp set in Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce ink. Pop the greeting on at the base of the tree using Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dots.

Give the flap of a Stampin’ Up! Medium Whisper White envelope a panel of the Forever Greenery DSP.

The inside is blank to write a note.

Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases with Peaceful Poppies and Flowering Foils

Happy Sunday all! I know many of you are having a 3-day weekend and enjoying each minute of it. School here where I live are out this entire week for Winter break, then 6 weeks until Spring break–time does fly doesn’t it?

The card I am featuring today is created using Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set, Tags in Bloom Stamp Set, Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and one of the new Sale-A-Bration products that will be available March 3, Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Inspiration for my sketch design comes from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge for this week, you have until Monday at 3 pm to post your own lovely card.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Pool Party card base embossed with the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Add two vertical panels of Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper that has been matted using Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss cardstock. Be sure to wrap vertically Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the Peaceful Poppies panel and tie in a bow. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue adhere the panels to the card front.

Fussy cut one of the blossoms from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper and color using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Markers in Light and Dark Poppy Parade and Light Old Olive. Pop the blossom over the vertical panels.

Stamp the greeting from Stampin’ Up! Tags in Bloom Stamp Set on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and crop using one of the dies from Stampin’ Up! Ornate Frame Dies, pop this on using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few sequins from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Poppies Sequins and your card front is finished.

Stamp your sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White card stock using Tuxedo Memento Black Ink. Trim a panel of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to fit the lower portion of your sentiment panel, adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Give a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope a panel of the Peaceful Poppies DSP to the envelope flap and the project is finished.

Stampin’ Up! Snow Front

Happy Sunday everyone! The workweek is just around the corner!

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Snow Front Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set. This is a simple and easy card.

The challenge I am playing today is with Case This Sketch.

This almost an all-white card except for the touch of Stampin’ Up! Seaside Spray ink and ribbon. Using two different embossing folders, Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder and Stampin’ Up! Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder, the panel of Whisper White card stock was embossed. A length of Stampin’ Up! Seaside Spray ribbon is wrapped around the embossed panel and taped on the back side.

I used Seaside Spray ink to make a wash on the art panel and sentiment panel. After drying with a heat tool to make sure it was dried thoroughly before stamping, I stamped the tree from Stampin’ Up! Snow Front Stamp Set in Tuxedo Memento Black ink.

The art piece is matted on a Stampin’ Up! Seaside Spray card stock mat then popped over the ribbon using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on the color wash portion of the card and trees from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set is stamped in Seaside Spray ink.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of Stampin’ Up! 2019-2121 InColor 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper on the envelope flap. This finishes the project.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty with Snow Front

Happy Tuesday all! A bit late today, but life got in the way so you know how that goes you deal with it! My card today is not one you send with joy and happiness, but we should make a few to have on hand at such a time.

The card I am sharing today is from two stamp sets, Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Snow Front Stamp Set. You need both these sets in your stash as there are so many options with these two sets.

My challenge for the day is with two challenges.

Just Us Girls — Frame It

And… Stamping Sensations — Trees and/or Leaves and/or Autumn

This was one of those cards where you can not decide what the card base will be and you cut and emboss and each time come up with Nah, I don’t like that color with this. Finally, you find one that you think does pretty well with the colors in the art piece. The card base is Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grape card stock with an embossed layer using the Stampin’ Up! Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder instead of embossing the card front. This works best for me.

The art piece is a square cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Shapes Dies. It is also framed using another square of the same size. The art piece is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Snow Front Stamp Set. I stamped the trees first in Tuxedo Memento Black ink then added the grass and water using Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils and a Stampin’ Up! Aqua Painter.

I added little snippets of dried grass also stamped in black ink. The mountains are stamped in Stampin’ Up! Smoky Slate ink. Again, I used watercolor pencils for the sky. Stampin’ Up! Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins are used on the card front randomly. The greeting is stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink using the “Thinking of You” stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Stamp Set.

The inside sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grape ink on a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. Trees are stamped in the corners using Gorgeous Grape ink also.

I stamped trees in Gorgeous Grape ink on the front and the flap of my Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope.
