Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend — Hello There!

I used Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend stamp set and Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend Dies to create the card I am sharing with you today. Along with the Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend stamp set, I also used Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper.

I am inspired by the daisy and other flowers on the Spring Mood Board in The Four Seasons Challenge for Spring to create my card today.

I cut a piece of Basic White card stock 5-1/2″ x 11″ scoring at 3″ and 7-1/4″. On the 3″ side I die cut using the leaf die from Around The Bend Dies. I also die cut a 3″ piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper using the same die used on the Basic White card stock. I adhered the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper die cut piece over the Basic White card stock die cut off setting just a bit.

I adhered a piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper to the right outside panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a daisy, leaves and two small flowers to the inside of the front flap.

I stamped a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend stamp set in Copper Clay ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. I die cut the greeting using a circle die from All That Dies. I popped this circle on the front panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I die cut flowers from Basic White and Garden Green card stock along with scraps of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper using Around The Bend Dies and Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Dies. I arranged these around the greeting circle using Glue Dot, Stampin’ Dimensionals, and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I used a stamp from Around The Bend stamp set to stamp leaves in the corners of a Basic White card stock panel. It is then adhered to the middle panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper is adhered to the right side panel.

A Basic White Medium Envelope get a panel of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora Meets Hues Of Happiness — Hey There

The card I am sharing today is created using Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper and a die from Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora stamp set.

I am entering Krafty Chicks Challenge for this card.

I started by die cutting from a panel of Basic White card stock, the large flora die from Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora Dies. This die cut is adhered to a panel of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper, then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I fussy cut flowers from a panel of Hues of Happiness Designer Series paper adhering them to the Basic White die cut panel. I stamped a greeting from Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink, fussy cut and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside sentiment panel is left blank for a note or maybe a future sentiment may be added, except for a few flowers at the bottom of the panel. The Mossy Meadow card stock vine is die cut using a die from Stampin’ Up! Dainty Flowers stamp set.

A Basic White Medium Envelope gets a piece of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! By The Bay — Sending Hugs

Sometimes you can let the Designer Series Paper do the creating and that is what I have done today with the card I am sharing with you. I used By The Bay Designer Series Paper, along with an embossing folder from Stripes and Splatters 3D Embossing Folder. I am entering the Global Design Project Challenge for this card.

I cut nine squares from a panel of By The Bay Designer Series Paper. These square are adhered to a Basic White card stock panel and a Distressed Gold Specialty Paper is used to mat the Basic White card stock panel. I embossed a panel of Coastal Cabana cardstock using an embossing folder from Stripes and Splatters 3D Embossing Folder. This panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The panel with the nine squares is adhered to the middle of the embossed panel. A greeting from Stampin’ up! Through This Together stamp set is stamped in Coastal Cabana ink in the center square. Three Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls are popped in the middle square above the greeting.

A panel of By The Bay Designer Series Paper is adhered to the inside of the card base for a sentiment of choice or a short note.

A Basic White Medium Envelope gets a piece of By The Bay Designer Series Paper applied to the envelope flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments — Hey There

I am using Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set, Timbers 3-D Embossing Folder, and Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper to create the card I am sharing today.

I am entering the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge for this card. Their theme is Spring and I believe the flowers on my card are springy.

Start with a 4-1/4″ x 11″ Basic White card stock card base. Cut 3-1/4″ off the bottom of the card front. From the piece cut off, cut five 1/2″ x 4-1/4″ strips. Cut the strip that is left in half, this gives you two strips that will be used to anchor the other strips together.
With the sticky side out adhere a piece of Washi Tape to the middle of the card front so you can position the strips on the card front.
Start at the bottom for the first strip, next place a strip at the top, leaving a space between the strip and the card base. Place a strip in the middle.
Wait until you have all the strips positioned before pressing down on the tape. If you need to adjust the space between the strips it will be easier to do if they are not stuck tight to the Washi Tape.
Place a dot of Liquid Glue on both sides on each strip . Adhere the two narrow strips, one to each side of the lattice. I waited until I had both strips in place so I could adjust if necessary.
Turn the card base over so the Washi Tape is showing and gently remove the tape. Pressing down on each strip as you pull the tape will help prevent tearing the card stock.
This is how the card front looks after you have finished with all the strips and trimming the excess from the bottom of the card.
Cut a piece of a window sheet 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ and adhered to the inside of the lattice front. I did this for stability. I did not do this on other cards I made. You can see a fun fold I made using this technique here.

I fussy cut flowers from Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper (soon to be retired). I die cut two vines from Mossy Meadow card stock using a die from Dainty Flower Dies. A butterfly is die cut from a scrap of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper using a die from Brilliant Wings Dies (soon to be retired).

I arranged the two vines die cut from the Mossy Meadow card stock on the card front starting at the bottom right corner. I layered the fussy cut flowers from Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper over the vines. After I had them arranged the way I wanted, I took a picture so I could remember placement when I adhered them to the card from. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the vines and Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the flowers over the vines.

I added the Brilliant Wings butterfly to the right side of the lattice then stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock a greeting using a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set. Add three Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front, placing one on the butterfly.

I stamped a sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink using a die from Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set. Around the sentiment, I adhered a Mossy Meadow vine and flowers fussy cut from Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. I adhered two larger flowers to the bottom of the lattice over the window sheet using Glue Dots. I also used Glue Dots adhering the flowers over the vine.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a piece of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Thistle

The card I am sharing today is a fun fold created using Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Thistle stamp set. I also used the Splatters Embossing Fold from the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder. I call this fun fold, an easel with a flap.

I find inspiration from the Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge for this card. I am choosing the bottom row across, Flowers, Ribbon/Twine, Free.

Start with a piece of Basic White card stock cut 4-1/4″ x 11″. Score at 5-1/2 & 2-3/4″. Fold and burnish the 5-1/2″ score first, then fold the 2-3/4″ into a mountain fold and burnish well. The small card will be adhered over the Glimmer Paper using your favorite adhesive. Remember to stamp your sentiment before adhering to the easel portion. I forgot to and had to stamp my sentiment on a separate piece of Basic White card stock and then adhere to the small card.

Adhere pieces of Orchid Oasis Glimmer Paper from the 2022-2024 In-Color 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper to the areas shown in the above photo.

On a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Basic White card stock stamp in Tuxedo Memento Black ink the thistles from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Thistle stamp set.

Color using Fresh Freesa, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Orchid Oasis Stampin’ Blends Markers. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set is stamp in the upper right corner using Tuxedo Memento Black ink.

After the ink was well dry and even with Stampin’ Blends the card stock can be damp for a few minutes, I used Wink of Stella on the thistle.

Emboss this art piece using the Splatter 3D Embossing Folder from Stripes and Splatters 3D Embossing Folders. I embossed on the negative side and you can barely see the embossing on the thistle.

A small thistle is stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with the same Stampin’ Blends Marker as used on the card front. A second greeting is stamped on the Basic White piece using Memento Black ink. The piece is then embossed using the Stripes Embossing Folder from the Stripes and Splatters Embossing Folder. A small thistle is popped on the bottom of the card front as the stop for the flap that comes over and stop at the thistle.

On a piece of Basic White card stock I stamped a sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Thistle stamp set. I stamped the small thistle in the lower corner and colored with the same Stampin’ Blends as on the card front. I then adhered to the inside of the small card. I had forgotten to stamp the sentiment before adhering to the easel card.

A Basic White medium envelope gets a piece of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper adhered to the envelope flap.
