Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Hugs Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Stamp Set. This stamp set is a free item during Sale-A-Bration with a qualified purchase.

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge gives the inspiration for the design of my card.

I started my creation by starting with a Basic White card stock base, embossing a panel of the same white card stock using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, cutting a piece of card stock for the art piece, and embossing it at the bottom using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder before stamping the art image.

The bird image from the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Stamp Set is stamped in Smoky Slate ink above the embossed portion of the card. I used Watercolor Pencils in Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Pumpkin Pie to color the image along with a Blender Pen.

A heart is cropped using a die from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder and Hugs is stamped in Memento Black ink. Hugs is one of the stamps from Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, I masked the other two words so only the Hugs would stamp.

Mats of Pacific Blue card stock are cut for the art piece and the greeting. A strip of the Friendly Hello DSP is cut for the band across the card. Now all layers are assembled using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Brushed Brass Butterflies are popped onto the art piece.

The inside panel gets the same bird stamped on it as the one on the front of the card. It is colored using the same colors of Watercolor Pencils.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Friendly Hello DSP applied to the flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Talk Card

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up1 Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper.

The design challenge at Sunday Stamps is my inspiration for today’s card.

I started with a card base of Highland Heather card stock adding a panel of the same embossed using the Timber Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Two panels of Sweet Talk DSP are cropped using the next to largest Stitched Rectangle Dies. The two panels are adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A strip of the Sweet Talk DSP is adhered across the panels so that little hearts show and I didn’t have to fussy cut them as I did all the larger hearts that are popped over the strip using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A greeting is stamped in Memento Black ink on a scrap of Highland Heather card stock and cropped using the smallest Stitched Rectangle Dies. It is popped on the card front. Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels are scattered around the card front.

The sentiment panel is left blank for a written message. Hearts from the Sweet Talk DSP are popped in the corner.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Sweet Talk DSP applied to the flap using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia With Much Love Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia Stamp Set. I was just playing around with different colors of card stock to see how the flowers would look on each that’s how this became a card with a cropped heart in the middle.

The challenge for today is the Watercooler Wednesday — Helen’s Challenge: All About Occasions. This card can be for any occasion of your choice as the inside sentiment is blank and it can be added, be it birthday, celebration, congratulations, or thinking of you. I am sure there could be many more occasions.

The card base is Cherry Cobbler card stock and as I said earlier, I was playing around seeing what this flower would look like on different colors of card stock so this was the chosen one for today.

The flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Calming Camellia Stamp Set is stamped in Memento Black ink onto the panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock. I then cropped a big heart from the middle of the heart intending to pop one of the images from the Stampin’ Up! In The Moment Stamp Set there. It just did not have the right appeal to me when I place it there.

After cropping the heart from the panel, I colored the flowers using Basic White Pigment Ink and a Blender Pen. Although the ink used was white, the flowers look pink, I suppose the red of the Cherry Cobbler created this color.

After coloring the panel is adhered to a Basic White card stock mat and popped on the card front. The cropped heart is then popped back into the spot cropped from using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. A smaller heart is then popped over the large one and a greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Through This Together Stamp Set is popped across the heart.

Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels are popped around the card front.

The flap of a medium Basic White envelope gets embossed using the Pretty Flowers embossing folder and several of the flowers are colored using Cherry Cobbler ink and a Blending Brush.

Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Days Hello Card

The card I am sharing today is created with many heart dies that I have saved over the years along with the Stampin’ Up! Eden’s Garden Stamp Set for the greeting.

My challenge inspiration for today is the Sunday Stamps Challenge with their color challenge. I believe I used all the colors instead of just picking three.

I started with a card base of Smoky Slate card stock, adding a panel of vellum from the Vellum Layering Designs DSP

I cut pieces from a panel of Daffodil Afternoon DSP (a free product you can earn during Sale-A-Bration) adhering hearts that I had cropped from Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper and Red Velvet Paper. I then popped them on the background panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A larger heart is cropped from the Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper, an arrow cut freehand from the Daffodil Afternoon DSP and adhered across the heart is popped on using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Red Velvet heart is adhered over the arrow.

Several hearts are randomly popped around the card front along with a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dahlia Day Stamp Set is stamped in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Smoky Slate card stock and adhered to the card base. A strip of the Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper is adhered down the side of the panel and hearts are popped over the edge of the panel.

A panel of Daffodil Afternoon DSP is adhered to a medium Basic White envelope flap and you are finished with your project.

Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Hello Card

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Blessing of Home Stamp Set. Also, used in the creation of this card is the Artistic Dies, Scalloped Contour Dies, the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder, and the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.

The design inspiration for my card is the Try Stamping On Tuesday Challenge.

My card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder. A die from the Scalloped Contour Dies is used to crop the Fresh Freesia card stock to create a border on the end of the Tasteful Textile panel. The panel is then adhered to the card base.

A die from the Artistic Dies is used to crop the Basic White card stock flowers that are placed behind the flowers from Stampin’ Up! Blessings Of Home Stamp Set. The flowers are colored using Stampin’ Blends Markers in Pale Papya, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, and Old Olive. Three Rhinestone Basic Jewels are colored using the Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Marker and popped on the card front. A greeting from Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set is stamped in Smoky Slate on a scrap of Basic White card stock and then popped on the card front.

A sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Smoky Slate ink on the Basic White card stock panel. Flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Stamp Set are stamped in the corner of the panel. They are colored using the same colors as the flowers on the card front.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a flower from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set stamped on the envelope flap.
