Stampin’ Up! See A Silhouette with Timeless Tropical

Good Tuesday morning everyone, so happy you have dropped by and that your day goes the way you want it to go.

The card today features Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper (DSP). I believe this DSP have been overlooked because it can be loud, sometimes that is just what you need.

My challenges for today are with Word Art Wednesday.

And…

A Perfect Time To Craft.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock as is the mat that has been cropped using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine Dies and then embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration Sending You Thoughts Stamp Set. It is cropped using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Frames Dies.

The flower is from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and is stamped on a piece of the See A Silhouette DSP using Tuxedo Memento Black ink. It is then fussy cut even though there is a die to crop it. Greenery is added behind the flower and then the flower is popped on the card front. Two clusters of flowers are made using the hearts punched from the See A Silhouette DSP. An embellishment from the Stampin’ Up! Christmastime Is Here Bundle is added to the center of the large flower and to the smaller ones also.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Garden Green ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. Hearts that have been punched from the See A Silhouette DSP is adhered down the sentiment panel.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Stampin’ Up! See A Silhouette DSP added to the flap to finish up the project for today.

Stampin’ Up! Little Twinkle

Hey everyone! How was your week? One of those you are happy it is over and now you are looking to the weekend and the Super Bowl.

My card today is featuring a stamp set from the 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. It is the Little Twinkle stamp set. I think the star heart stamp is so great for so many cards, birthdays, thinking of you, Valentine, Anniversary, you name it you can use it!

The challenge for today is with The Global Design Project.

This is a super easy card and is practically one layer. The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.

There is a Stampin’ Up! Flirty Flamingo panel for the mat that has been embossed in the Stampin’ Up! Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. It is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The art panel is a Whisper White that has the art images stamped in Stampin’ Up! Real Red ink. The stamp set used is Stampin’ Up! Little Twinkle. The art part and the greeting are stamped on the same panel nothing else added. There are many things that could be done to this card to make it more advanced but I decided to make a simple card that anyone can make.

The sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Stamp Set and is stamped in Real Red ink on a Whisper White panel. The heart that is on the card front is carried forward to the inside panel also.

In finishing the heart from the card front is also stamped on the envelope flap along with the Little Dipper.

Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed

It is TGIF for all of us! There used to be a restaurant here called that when I still worked at the school system, but it has ended up being called just Friday’s. Teachers gathered there after school on Friday.

My card today features Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed Designer Series Paper(DSP) and the Stampin’ Up! Very Versatile Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Stamp Set.

The House That Stamps Built — What If? — Wednesday Sketch Challenge is my challenge for the day.

Start with a card base of Stampin’ Up! Purple Posy card stock and add a background panel of Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed Designer Series Paper. To this background panel, add on the left side, a narrow panel which is the reverse side of the background panel and matted on a Stampin’ Up! Petal Pink card stock panel.

Add another narrow matted panel on the right side which is also from the Best Dressed DSP. Over these two narrow panels adds two mats for the art piece that have been cropped from Petal Pink and Purple Posy card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Adhere these together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then pop over the two narrow panels. To the top of the Purple Posy panel add the three hearts that have been cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine Dies. Two of the hearts are embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder just as the Stitched So Sweet panel has been.

The greet “LOVE” is from the Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Stamp Set and is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock ink on a scrap of Petal Pink card stock and then fussy cut around the word. Several sequins from Stampin’ Up! Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins are randomly placed on the card front. A tiny Whisper White Twine bow is added to the top heart.

The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock and adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A little collage of flowers are fussy cut from the Best Dressed DSP and adhered to the panel.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of DSP from the Best Dressed DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis

Good Morning Friends, can you believe it is already Thursday, seems it was just here yesterday!

My creation today features Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper. I truly believe it is my favorite, I believe I could make a card each day using it. I have used almost two packs, going to have to order more.

My challenge today is with Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. My inspiration is from their Sketch 174.

Start with a card base of Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze card stock and add a background panel of Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz card stock. To this background, panel add the nine squares alternating between the solid Pretty Peacock square that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder and the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis squares.

Crop three squares, each one smaller than the last, one from Pear Pizzazz card stock and one from Pretty Peacock card stock, and one from Tropical Oasis DSP. Adhere the Pretty Peacock square to the Pear Pizzazz square, then popped the Tropical Oasis DSP square on using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next, pop all three layers onto the card base. Be sure to stamp your greeting before you embossed the Pear Pizzazz square with the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Add your Stampin’ Up! Adhesive Backed Sequins and Pearl Basic Jewels that have been colored using a Coastal Cabana Light Stampin’ Blends Marker. Your card front is finished.

The sentiment panel is Stampin’ Up! Pear Pizzazz card stock that has a sentiment from Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and Peaceful Moments Stamp Set stamped in Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock ink. A short panel of the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper is added to the top and lower corners.

The square envelope gets Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper added to the envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies

Don’t you love the colors in this card? I do!🙂 Today I am featuring a favorite of many. It is one of the new products in the Jan-June 2020 Mini Catalog — Painted Poppies. The Mini Catalog is even the theme for the challenge I am entering today.

The first thing was to cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Grape card stock for the card base. Next was to cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Granny Apple Green card stock that is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder and adhered to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The background panel is from Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and is matted on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss card stock. It will be popped on the Granny Apple Green panel using Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals after the flowers and leaves are on the panel.

The poppies are from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Stamp Set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Stampin’ Up! Thick Whisper White card stock. There is a die to crop this poppy but I fussy cut because I wanted not as much border as the die would leave. I used Stampin’ Up! Light and Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends to color the poppy and Light and Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends to color the vellum leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Poppies Elements.

The two poppies are from the Peaceful Poppies Elements, I colored them a bit more using a Stampin’ Up! Light & Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Marker. All this was arranged on the background panel then adhered with Multipurpose Glue, Glue Dots, and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A bird from the Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper is fussy cut and popped atop the purple poppy using a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

The inside sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! Everything Is Rosy Stamp Set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Whisper White card stock panel. The poppies in the corner are from the Peaceful Poppies Elements.

In finishing, a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope is given a panel of the Peace Poppies DSP to the envelope flap.
