Stampin’ Up! No Matter The Weather

Good Morning All! I hope your day turns out fantastic and you have a wonderful weekend. I can’t believe it is just around the corner. Easter will be here soon. Sale-A-Bration will be ending in 12 days, so if there are still goodies you would like, you only have 12 days to get your shopping done. Sounds like Christmas, but with Sale-A-Bration, it can seem like Christmas.

My card today is an alternative one from the Stampin’ Up! March Paper Pumpkin. If you haven’t seen the kit yet, you are in for a treat.

The challenge that inspired me to make this card is the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Terracotta Tile card stock base and a background panel of the same that has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is then cropped using a Stampin’ Up! Rectangle Stitched Die.

A panel of the Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch DSP is adhered in the cropped portion of the panel. A length of ribbon is wrapped around the embossed panel and then adhered to the card base. All the images are added to the window of the card. It does look like you are looking out a window at the rain. Some of the images are stamped and some are from the Paper Pumpkin kit. A leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Trinkets is popped on the card front.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. The sides of the panel gets an umbrella added from the Pleased As Punch DSP.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Pleased As Punch DSP added to the panel. All the card cuts for this card can be found at the end of the post.

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical

Happy Wednesday everyone, I hope all are well and you are getting through this craziness that we are all having to endure. You would never have believed that yesterday was St Patrick’s Day.

My challenge inspiration is from Fab Friday Challenge.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock base and to that add a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper (DSP) as a background. It looks embossed but it isn’t, that is the weave of the paper.

A panel of Stampin’ Up! Old Olive embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Coastal Weave Embossing Folder is added as a mat for the Tropical Oasis panel that is used for the art piece.

When I first looked at this card from the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Memories & More Card Pack, my thought was well that is one I will never use, but here we are and it made a cute card. It was a bit of fussy cutting to get it ready for the card front. It is popped on the Tropical Oasis DSP using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake Classic Ink on Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla card stock and then cropped using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Rectangle Stitched Dies. Three jewels colored with a Stampin’ Up! Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker are scattered around the card front.

Where do most people think of relaxing? The beach! I thought this made for a cute sentiment. It is one of the Memories & More Card Pack cards cropped using one of the Rectangle Stitched Dies. I fussy cut the surfboards and added to the corner.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis DSP added to the panel. All the card cuts for this card can be found at the end of the post.

Stampin’ Up! Born To Shine

Good morning stampers and non-stamper, blog lovers and all. We’re headed toward the weekend, just a day away, can you believe–seems it was just here. Why is time flying so fast?

The card for today features the Stampin’ Up! Born To Shine Stamp Set for the artwork and Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat for the sentiment.

The inspiration for the design comes from the Stella Says Sketch SSS 805

And…

Addicted To Stamps — Photo Inspiration. The ballerinas are like tulips swaying in the breeze.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock base. Add a layer of Stampin’ Up! See A Silouhette Designer Series Paper for the background. To the left side crop a small panel of Whisper White card stock with a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Be Mine Dies, punch a strip of the See A Silhouette DSP using the Braided Border Punch. Adhere this piece to the opposite side of the Whisper White panel that was cropped. Adhere the Whisper White panel to the background panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue as you did the other pieces adhered.

Using Tuxedo Memento Black ink stamp the ballerinas from the Stampin’ Up! Born To Shine Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White. To get both of the end ballerinas pointing to the one in the middle, reverse (I guess that what it is called, I do anyway) stamping is used. Stamp the spray of stars also. Color the ballerinas using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Markers in Light & Dark Rococo Rose, Call Me Glover, Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, and Crumb Cake. Cut out sections of the Whisper White panel for the background to show through.

Pop the art piece onto the background panel using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is also from the Born To Shine Stamp Set and is stamped on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and fussy cut to the shape of the greeting. It is then popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. Scatter Stampin’ Up! Basic Rhinestone Jewels around the card front.

A panel of See A Silhouette DSP is adhered inside to the card base and an art piece and sentiment are adhered over the panel. The sentiment panel is cropped using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.

A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the See A Silhouette DSP added to the panel.

Here we are again, the second Tuesday of the month and time for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. Our theme this month is ‘Spring” and we can interpret any way we choose. There’s a group of talented ladies in this hop so be prepared for awesome creations.

This card is a CAS of Bronwyn Eastley’s creation. You can see hers by clicking on her name. Since this is a CAS of her card, I will let you get instructions on making from her site. I want to make another with this stamp set now that I have made the first one. I have made Z-folds before but not one as detailed as this stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! Meant To Be

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Meant To Be Stamp Set. This set is one of hearts, so you are probably thinking Valentines Day has passed. It makes for great shamrocks. It also features the Stampin’ Up! Country Club Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.

My challenge inspiration today is the {Mojo Monday} Challenge.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Garden Green card stock base. Add a layer of the same embossed in the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

Cut or crop the layers according to the size at the end of the post. Emboss the Whisper White panel using the Stampin’ Up! Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Layer them according to the photo. Add Stampin’ Up! Nobel Rhinestone jewels and your card front is finished.

No sentiment for the inside yet as I haven’t decided.

A Whisper White envelope receives a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Country Club Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap and your project is finished.
