Stampin’ Up! Always

Stampin’ Up! Always

Happy Wednesday everyone! Welcome!  Can you believe it is the last week of January?  Do you send valentines, if so you are busy getting them finished.  I am trying, as I did not get any Christmas cards made in 2020 because of all that consumes my time for now. Prayerfully, they will improve.

Today’s card features the Always Dies and the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set for the sentiment.  This was a super easy card to make.  I think I have said it before, sometimes it is the easiest cards that take the most time.  Do you feel that way sometimes?

My inspiration design for today is from the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.  Looking at the design you can see how simple it is.

Start with a panel of Blushing Bride card stock as the base, emboss another panel of the same using the Scripty 3D Embossing folder.  Adhere this panel to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Crop a panel of the Blushing Bride card stock that has been embossed using the Scripty 3D Embossing folder, use the third largest die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for the cropping. Wrap a length of Blushing Bride Metalic Ribbon around the cropped panel.

Crop the heart using one of the dies from the Always Dies, also the word LOVE cropped from a piece of the Love You Always Specialty DSP.  I cropped three hearts from a panel of Blushing Bride card stock and adhered to the Foil one so the word would have some dimension.

Pop two pearls from the Pastel Pearls in the upper right corner. It is now ready to be popped on the background panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Rococo Rose ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  A heart from the Always Dies is cropped in the center.  The panel is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Love You Always Specialty DSP to the flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!

Happy Saturday everyone!  Hope you have a fun, restful weekend!

The design of the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge is my inspiration for today’s card.

And Addicted to Stamps and More  — Make Your Mark.

The stamp set featured today is the new Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set from the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog.  I am also using Paper Blooms DSP, a Sale-A-Bration free item with a $50 order.

I started with a Blushing Bride card stock base, adding a panel of the Paper Blooms DSP embossed using Rococo Rose card stock.

A short panel of Garden Green card stock is embossed using the Tin Tile 3-D Embossing Folder and adhered to the Rococo Rose flower panel.  Flowers from the Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set are stamped in Rococo Rose ink on Basic White card stock and cropped using one of the dies from the Tranquil Dies Collection. Another flower is stamped on the Basic White art panel using Rococo Rose and Garden Green ink.  The cropped flowers are popped on the art piece under the stamped flower using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Basic White sentiment panel trimmed with a strip of the Paper Blooms DSP is left blank to write a note.

Stampin’ Up! True Love

Stampin’ Up! True Love

Hey everyone! I hope you are enjoying the sunshine today after so many days without it.

The True Love DSP is featured today along with the Flower & Field DSP, a free Sale-A-Bration item with a $50.

The design inspiration for today’s card comes from the Stella Says Sketch  Challenge.

Start with a card base of Basic White card stock.

The polka dot panel used as one of the mats, I made as I did not have a polka dot piece that was the colors I wanted. The bottom portion is a panel of the Flower & Field DSP. This panel has a scalloped trim cropped from a die in the Stitched Be Mine Dies.

The next layers are a panel of Basic Black card stock, Basic White card stock, and then the focal panel, Real Red card stock, cropped using a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies for the art piece. A strip of Flower & Field DSP is adhered to the left side of this layering.

The two flowers are fussy cut from a panel of the True Love DSP and colored using Light and Dark  Real Red, Light Flirty Flamingo, and Light & Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  It is popped on the red panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tree Resin Hearts from the Snail Mail Suite are placed around the card front.  The greeting is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and cropped with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

A sentiment from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set is stamped in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock that is matted to a Real Red panel cropped using one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. A strip of True Love DSP is adhered to the bottom of the panel. They are then adhered to the card base.

The envelope flap gets a panel of the Flower & Field DSP and your card project is finished.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars

Three days and all your prepping for the big event will be over and you can let a sigh of relief come out.  It is not the holiday but all the prepping you are relieved from.  This year if Susan Stanley, a stampin’ teammate on Amy’s Inkin Krew had not sent me an ornament, I would not even had an ornament to display for Christmas.  All of mine are still in storage.   I feel my whole life is in storage at the moment.

My design inspiration comes from the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.  A strip of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy ink using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Floating and Fluttering Stamp Set.  I saw this on one of Amy Koender’s cards so I am CAS(E)ing.

The stars are from Stampin’ Up!  Stitched Stars Dies and is cropped from Whisper White card stock.  The jewels that are randomly placed are from the Stampin’ Up! Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  It is hard to see the embossing on the embossed panel but visible in the lower corner.  The tiny flag is a scrap left from another card made.  I cut a small strip and flagged it and popper under the solid Night of Navy star.  The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set.

The Whisper White card stock sentiment panel is left blank for a note to be written.  It does have a single star from the Stitched Star Dies.

A Whisper White envelope gets art work stamped on the flap from the Floating & Fluttering Stamp Set.

Dragonfly Garden

Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden

Happy Friday everyone.  I hope your day is going great and you are enjoying the chilly weather.  Let it stay chilly, not cold or snow!

I am sharing another card made with the fabulous Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly  Garden stamp set (available January 2021).  I am also using the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Dragonflies Punch.

My challenge is with Cute Card Thursday – Anything Goes.

And

Craftyhazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge – Use patterned paper.

I started with a card base of Stampin’ Up! Bumblebee card stock with a layer of Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow card stock for the mat for the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden DSP.  The DSP is a piece that had a portion cropped out for another card.   I decided to use the negative space so I stamped flowers and dragonflies from the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set onto a panel of Whisper White card stock and placed the negative portion over the flowers.

A length of Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow 3/16″ Braided Trim is wrapped around the DSP and tied in a bow.  A little dragonfly from the DSP is fussy cut and popped on the flowers in the negative space.   Three Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are added to the card front, one being the head of the large dragonfly that was punched using the Stampin’ Up! Dragonflies Punch.  Now everything is ready to pop onto the card base.  The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness stamp set which will be retiring soon.

The inside sentiment panel gets a panel of DSP from the Dandy Garden DSP with a dragonfly stamped in  Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink and colored using Stampin’ Up! Light & Dark Pumpkin Pie Blends.  The sentiment is also from the Autumn Goodness stamp set.

A Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Dandy Garden DSP added to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!
