Stampin’ Up! True Love

Stampin’ Up! True Love

Hey everyone! I hope you are enjoying the sunshine today after so many days without it.

The True Love DSP is featured today along with the Flower & Field DSP, a free Sale-A-Bration item with a $50.

The design inspiration for today’s card comes from the Stella Says Sketch  Challenge.

Start with a card base of Basic White card stock.

The polka dot panel used as one of the mats, I made as I did not have a polka dot piece that was the colors I wanted. The bottom portion is a panel of the Flower & Field DSP. This panel has a scalloped trim cropped from a die in the Stitched Be Mine Dies.

The next layers are a panel of Basic Black card stock, Basic White card stock, and then the focal panel, Real Red card stock, cropped using a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies for the art piece. A strip of Flower & Field DSP is adhered to the left side of this layering.

The two flowers are fussy cut from a panel of the True Love DSP and colored using Light and Dark  Real Red, Light Flirty Flamingo, and Light & Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  It is popped on the red panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tree Resin Hearts from the Snail Mail Suite are placed around the card front.  The greeting is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and cropped with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

A sentiment from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set is stamped in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock that is matted to a Real Red panel cropped using one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. A strip of True Love DSP is adhered to the bottom of the panel. They are then adhered to the card base.

The envelope flap gets a panel of the Flower & Field DSP and your card project is finished.

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars

Three days and all your prepping for the big event will be over and you can let a sigh of relief come out.  It is not the holiday but all the prepping you are relieved from.  This year if Susan Stanley, a stampin’ teammate on Amy’s Inkin Krew had not sent me an ornament, I would not even had an ornament to display for Christmas.  All of mine are still in storage.   I feel my whole life is in storage at the moment.

My design inspiration comes from the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.  A strip of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy ink using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Floating and Fluttering Stamp Set.  I saw this on one of Amy Koender’s cards so I am CAS(E)ing.

The stars are from Stampin’ Up!  Stitched Stars Dies and is cropped from Whisper White card stock.  The jewels that are randomly placed are from the Stampin’ Up! Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  It is hard to see the embossing on the embossed panel but visible in the lower corner.  The tiny flag is a scrap left from another card made.  I cut a small strip and flagged it and popper under the solid Night of Navy star.  The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set.

The Whisper White card stock sentiment panel is left blank for a note to be written.  It does have a single star from the Stitched Star Dies.

A Whisper White envelope gets art work stamped on the flap from the Floating & Fluttering Stamp Set.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden

Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden

Happy Friday everyone.  I hope your day is going great and you are enjoying the chilly weather.  Let it stay chilly, not cold or snow!

I am sharing another card made with the fabulous Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly  Garden stamp set (available January 2021).  I am also using the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Dragonflies Punch.

My challenge is with Cute Card Thursday – Anything Goes.

And

Craftyhazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge – Use patterned paper.

I started with a card base of Stampin’ Up! Bumblebee card stock with a layer of Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow card stock for the mat for the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden DSP.  The DSP is a piece that had a portion cropped out for another card.   I decided to use the negative space so I stamped flowers and dragonflies from the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set onto a panel of Whisper White card stock and placed the negative portion over the flowers.

A length of Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow 3/16″ Braided Trim is wrapped around the DSP and tied in a bow.  A little dragonfly from the DSP is fussy cut and popped on the flowers in the negative space.   Three Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are added to the card front, one being the head of the large dragonfly that was punched using the Stampin’ Up! Dragonflies Punch.  Now everything is ready to pop onto the card base.  The greeting is from Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness stamp set which will be retiring soon.

The inside sentiment panel gets a panel of DSP from the Dandy Garden DSP with a dragonfly stamped in  Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink and colored using Stampin’ Up! Light & Dark Pumpkin Pie Blends.  The sentiment is also from the Autumn Goodness stamp set.

A Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Dandy Garden DSP added to the envelope flap.

Winter Wood Too

Stampin’ Up! Winter Wood Too

Well, here it Friday and the weekend ahead.  I guess you could say every day is the weekend for me but you know there is just something special about saying the weekend.

I chose down the right side of The Paper Players Challenge for my challenge choice.  Embossing-Ribbon or Twine-Green.  Today’s card is similar to the one yesterday, same stamp set.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce card stock with a panel of the same embossed with the Stampin’ Up! Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

The Whisper White panel that is the background for the spruce tree is also embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder after the greeting from a Stampin’ Up! stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink.  There are many stamp sets that have the hello as one of the stamps, I forgot to write down the stamp set I used.

The spruce tree from Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink twice, after the trees are cropped, using the Stampin’ Up! In The Woods Dies they are stacked one over the other using Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to give some dimension to the tree.

I call it a Mary bow as Mary Deatherage is the person who showed me how to make this bow.  I wrapped Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread around the embossed panels three times and adhered the bow with a Stampin’ Up! Glue Dot.  Three Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels are scattered randomly around the card front.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Stamp Set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and the panel is adhered to the card base.

Enjoy the Moment with Dragonfly Garden

Stampin’ Up! Enjoy the Moment with Dragonfly Garden

Happy Sunday!  Have a beautiful fall day!

Since the Stampin’ Up! OnStage@Home event has ended, I thought perhaps it would be a good time to share two of the new stamp sets. Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set bundle from the upcoming January-June 2021 Stampin’ Up! Catalog (available January 5, 2021) was the stamp set we purchased to have for the card making time at the event.  The Stampin’ Up! Enjoy the Moment Stamp set is the one we received in our Swag boxes.  I have created 2-3 cards with the Dragonfly Garden before today but the Enjoy the Moment is premiering.  When I first saw the stamp set, I was not too enthused with it, but after looking at it for a while, I decided it would pair well with the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set.  Can’t wait for everyone to see the new catalog that we got to see at the OnStage@Home event.  Seeing the catalog early is one of the perks of being a demonstrator, plus the 20-25% discount you receive.  Save your money because the catalog is pretty awesome and you will want the entire catalog, like so many of us.

The inspiration for my design is from the Fab Friday 201 Stamping Challenge.

Start with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White cardstock base.  Layer a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper over the card base.

Over the green panel add another panel of the Dandy Garden DSP using as a semi mat for the art piece.  On a strip of Whisper White cardstock stamp the flower pod (I will call it that)  from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set in Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss ink also stamp a few of the seeds around the stem.  The greeting is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink on a scrap of  Whisper White cardstock with a half mat behind it from the Dandy Garden DSP.

Scatter a few Stampin’ Up! Holiday Rhinestones  Basic Jewels around the card front.  Stamp the dragonfly from the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden Stamp set in Stampin’ Up! Old Olive ink and then add the Stampin’ Up! Bumblebee ink to color the wings.

The sentiment panel is left blank for a note but one of the flower pods from the Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set is stamped in Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive ink.  The panel is adhered using Multipurpose Glue to a panel from the Dandy Garden DSP.

A Stampin’ Up! Medium size Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Dandy Garden DPS adhered to the flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!
