Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air

Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air

Happy Friday, may your weekend be all that you wish it to be.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air Stamp Set along with a little help from the Beauty of Friendship and Elegantly Said Stamp Set.

My inspiration comes from the Card Concept.  The picture of the lake and trees is what I found inspiring.  I used embossing, stamping, coloring, and die cuts to create my card.

I am choosing the first vertical– friendship, any color, sentiment  — for the Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge.

I started with a Garden Green card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Evergreen Forest Embossing Folder.  A plain panel of the Garden Green has a panel of Basic White adhered to it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.   I just realized the Basic White and Garden Green panels are reversed.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the mountains from the Mountain Air Stamp Set in Smoky Slate.  I then stamped the trees in Garden Green ink.  I used the waves stamp from High Tide Stamp Set (retiring) to stamp the waves in Misty Moonlight ink.

Using a Blending Brush and Misty Moonlight and Seaside Spray ink I brushed ink over the waves and left a small spot on the right side with no waves.  A little spot of Crumb Cake ink is brushed on the left side.  Using dies from the Majestic Mountain Dies I cropped two trees from Garden Green card stock. A greeting from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on the lower corner of the card front.

A sentiment from the Elegantly Said Stamp Set is stamped in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White.  Two Garden Green trees are stamped in the lower corner.

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch

Happy Thursday everyone.  I pray your day is off to a great start.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Bundle.  This stamp set can look complicated with all those tiny pieces, but once you use it is easier. This is a new set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and even though I was blessed to get to pre-order I have not used it but once.  So here I go, looking through Pinterest for designs on using this and I happened across Su Mohr’s card, so I CASEd it as it fit the design challenge perfectly.

As I said earlier this is my inspiration for the design of today’s card, the Sunday Stamps Challenge.

My card base is Soft Succulent card stock with a panel of Basic White card stock layered over it.  The Basic White panel is cropped using the largest die from the Scalloped Contour Dies, it is then embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.  I suppose this Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder is going to take the place of our favorite, Subtle Embossing Folder, too bad it retired.

I cropped all the pansy and leaves from Basic White card stock.  Thanks to Su, it was easier deciding which pieces made the pansy.

Using the Blending Brushes and Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, and Pale Papaya Stamp Pads, I colored the pansies and leaves.  I used Evening Evergreen Stampin’ Blends Marker to color the open leaves.  Using the Blending Brushes made coloring so easy and easier to get the color you wanted.  Once they were all colored I popped them on the Basic White embossed panel using Mini Glue Dots.  I used Wink of Stella to give a little glitz to the pansy bud.

For the inside panel, I cropped a panel of Basic White card stock to match the panel on the card front.  I fussy cut a pansy from a panel of the Pansy Petals DSP, added a leaf that was extra, and the outline for the pansy I had colored using a Blending Brush and the Polished Pink Stamp pad.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Pansy Petals DSP applied to the envelope flap. I used this particular Pansy Petals DSP panel because it has pink pansies on it.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home with Friends Are Like Seashells

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home with Friends Are Like Seashells

Sunday everyone, are you watching the Indy 500, which seems to be a Memorial Day tradition.  I have a race fan so of course, he’s watching waiting for the NASCAR one after this one is over.

The card I am sharing today is a combination of Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home and Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Sets along with  the Smooth Sailing Dies and the Seabed Embossing Folder.

My inspiration for today’s card is the Card Concept Challenge.  I love the overall theme, but did not make it red, white, and blue.

The card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the Whale of A Time DSP embossed using the Seabed Embossing Folder, then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A panel of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Seabed Embossing Folder and adhered over the Whale Of A Time DSP panel.

The ship’s wheel and a portion of the seagrass are cropped from the same panel of DSP as the background panel. The seashells and starfish are stamped in Just Jade ink on Pearlescent Specialty Paper, fussy cut, and popped over the Seabed embossed panel.  The lighthouse and sailboat are from the Sailing Home Stamp Set and are stamped in Just Jade ink, cropped, and popped on the Basic White panel.  The ship’s wheel gets a Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewel popped in the middle of the wheel.  The ship’s wheel is popped against the lighthouse.

The inside panel of Basic White card stock has three sailboats from the Sailing Home Stamp Set stamped in Just Jade ink, then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of Whale Of A Time DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms with Grace’s Garden

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms with Grace’s Garden

Happy sunny Saturday or I hope it is sunny where you are!

The card I am sharing today is another made using Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms.  I have also used the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Inspiration for my challenge today is from Addicted to Stamps and More — theme this week is Make Your Mark.

And Little Red Wagon Challenge — their theme is flowers

I started with a Basic White card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder, then adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card base.

A panel of the Hand Penned DSP is cropped using an Ornate Frames Die and adhered over the embossed panel.  Blossoms from the Forever Blossom Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Basic White card stock panel then cropped using a Stitched So Sweetly Die.  The blossoms are colored using Melon Mambo ink and alcohol.  I mixed the two together and then used extra alcohol to get the right color of pink. I used a Stampin’ Blends Color Blender marker that no longer worked to add the ink to the blossoms.  The leaves are colored using a Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Marker.

The blossoms are also stamped on the top of the inside panel leaving ample space for a note of birthday wishes, thinking of you, sympathy, or any type of note.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hand Penned DSP applied to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern

Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern

Can we call this Wacky Wednesday?  That is usually the way it goes.  Hope your day is going fantastic.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Stamp Set and the new 2021-2023 In colors Classic Stamp Pads, along with the Ornate Frames Dies, the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, and a butterfly from the Brilliant Wings Dies.

Sunday Stamps has some great colors for their challenge this week, so I have chosen to participate as their colors match the new In colors so well.

I started with a card base of Soft Succulent card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.  The embossed panel is adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  A Basic White card stock panel is cropped using a die from the Ornate Frame Dies.  This panel is also adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using the Forever Fern Stamp Set and the new In Colors the images are stamped in Polished Pink, Evening Evergreen, Pale Papaya and an old basic Calypso Coral ink.  Once all are stamped they are cropped using the Forever Flourishing Dies.  I then arranged them on the Basic White card stock panel, took a picture so I would know how to adhere them on the panel and then adhered.  I cropped a butterfly from Basic White card stock using a butterfly die from the Brilliant Wing Dies.

Using the dot stamp from the Forever Fern Stamp Set, dots are stamped in Evening Evergreen around the floral arrangement.  A greeting is stamped in Soft Succulent ink on the Basic White panel in the upper corner.  A Champagne Basic Jewel is popped beside the greeting.

Two images from the Forever Fern Stamp Set is stamped in Pale Papaya and Evening Evergreen ink on a Basic White panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets art using Forever Fern stamped to the envelope flap.
