Stampin’ Up! Because I Care
Happy Sunday, I hope you are having a blessed day. We are blessed to get to attend a most important graduation — our great daughter’s pre-school graduation. You know how important those are! I didn’t get to share a card with you before I attended that all-important graduation. I started before we left to try to get this finished, but one thing after another prevented it. I am finally getting to share.

This is a vintage stamp set so if you desire to re-create this card, you can use the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set. You can see the Because I Care Stamp Set below in the product used to create this card.
My design inspiration is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

My card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder. The embossed panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A strip of Basic White card stock is cut and using paper snips flagged at one end. It is then matted on a Highland Heather card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Thinking of you is stamped in Highland Heather ink and the strip is embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder and adhered to the card front.

An image from the Because I Care Stamp Set is stamped in Highland Heather ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. It is stamped in two parts, first the hydrangea in Highland Heather ink and the leaves in Soft Succulent ink. I fussy cut the hydrangea and popped on the flagged strip. Three 2021-2023 In Color Jewels are randomly placed around the flagged strip.

A hydrangea from the Hydrangea Hill DSP is fussy cut and adhered to the corner of a Basic White card stock panel. it is then adhered inside the card.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hydrangea Hill DSP applied to the envelope flap.
If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

A panel of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Bloom Embossing Folder. Flirty Flamingo ink is rubbed over the flowers on the embossing folder before embossing. Once embossed they are fussy cut and the center are colored using a Dark So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker. Leaves are cropped from Evening Evergreen card stock and Hand Penned DSP using a leaf die from the Bloom Dies. The flowers and leaves are arranged and popped on the Basic White panel with Linen Thread wrapped around under the flowers a few times. A Ladybug trinket is popped on a flower using Glue Dots. A dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden DSP is fussy cut and popped on the panel with the flowers.
A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hand Penned DSP applied to the envelope flap.

It is a rainy day in Georgia! Hopefully, Sunday will be sunny and warm. Today is a chilly one. Any plans for the next two days. Thank you to the people who work weekends to make my life easier and safer.

Start with a Pretty Peacock card stock base. Emboss the top portion of the card after you have cropped it using the Birds & More Dies. Adhere a panel of Basic White on the inside of the front panel, so the greeting can be placed on it. Stamp in Tuxedo Memento Black ink a greeting from Sending Sunshine Stamp Set. Fussy cut the greeting and adhere to the Basic White panel.

My card today is featuring the wonderful, beautiful dies that come with the Butterfly Brillance Stamp Bundle. They are called Butterfly Wings. Beautiful butterflies can be cropped using these dies. When I see butterflies or create a card using butterflies, I think of my niece who left this earth much too young. She loved butterflies and maybe it was so because her name was so related to the outside world — Stormie Woods.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP applied to the envelope flap.
