Stampin’ Up! Because I Care

Stampin’ Up! Because I Care

Happy Sunday, I hope you are having a blessed day.  We are blessed to get to attend a most important graduation — our great daughter’s pre-school graduation.  You know how important those are!    I didn’t get to share a card with you before I attended that all-important graduation.  I started before we left to try to get this finished, but one thing after another prevented it.  I am finally getting to share.

This is a vintage stamp set so if you desire to re-create this card, you can use the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set.  You can see the Because I Care Stamp Set below in the product used to create this card.

My design inspiration is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

My card base is Basic White card stock with a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.  The embossed panel is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A strip of Basic White card stock is cut and using paper snips flagged at one end.  It is then matted on a Highland Heather card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Thinking of you is stamped in Highland Heather ink and the strip is embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder and adhered to the card front.

An image from the Because I Care Stamp Set is stamped in Highland Heather ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. It is stamped in two parts, first the hydrangea in Highland Heather ink and the leaves in Soft Succulent ink.  I fussy cut the hydrangea and popped on the flagged strip.  Three 2021-2023 In Color Jewels are randomly placed around the flagged strip.

A hydrangea from the Hydrangea Hill DSP is fussy cut and adhered to the corner of a Basic White card stock panel.  it is then adhered inside the card.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hydrangea Hill DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.  Any questions you may have, you know you can always contact me.  Have a blessed day!

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom

Happy Friday!  The weekend is here.  I know a bunch of people who are so thrilled that this weekend is finally here.  It is those SU demonstrators that are blessed to be going to Hawaii compliments of SU.  Have fun and don’t overeat.😊

The card I am sharing today is created with the new Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Stamp Set.  This set is a gift from one of our great upline – Amy Koenders. She and Mary Deatherage are the best, we are always getting little gifts and cards from them.  They are always available with their support and help.

My design inspiration is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches.  This is a great sketch.

My card base is Evening Evergreen one of the new 2021-2023 Incolors with a panel of the same embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.  This is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

A die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies is used to crop two Basic White card stock mats from the Hand Penned DSP, then adhered to two corners of the card front.

A panel of Basic White card stock is cut and matted with a panel of the Evening Evergreen card stock.  This is adhered to the center of the card front over the two corner pieces.

A panel of Basic White card stock is embossed using the Bloom Embossing Folder.  Flirty Flamingo ink is rubbed over the flowers on the embossing folder before embossing.  Once embossed they are fussy cut and the center are colored using a Dark So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker.  Leaves are cropped from Evening Evergreen card stock and Hand Penned DSP using a leaf die from the Bloom Dies.   The flowers and leaves are arranged and popped on the Basic White panel with Linen Thread wrapped around under the flowers a few times. A Ladybug trinket is popped on a flower using Glue Dots.  A dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden DSP is fussy cut and popped on the panel with the flowers.

A panel of Basic White card stock gets a flower and leaves from the Art in Bloom Stamp Set stamped in Flirty Flamingo and Soft Succulent ink stamped in the corner.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Hand Penned DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments with True Love

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments with True Love

It is a rainy day in Georgia!  Hopefully, Sunday will be sunny and warm.  Today is a chilly one.  Any plans for the next two days. Thank you to the people who work weekends to make my life easier and safer.

Easy card today, but it sure is taking me a long time to get to my blog posting, I accidentally deleted my Stampin’ Up! folder with all my files of SU.  Boy was I in a panic!  I search on the internet and found how to recover it.  I had it all saved on a Flash Drive.  Do not ask how I did it all I know is I have my files again even if it did take me 5 hours to accomplish it.  I even asked on our group page if anyone knew how to recover but no success, I guess all are like me and mostly know computer basics.  What a relief.

My card features True Love DSP, Quite Curvy Stamp Set, and Beautiful Moments Stamp Set.  I started with a Basic White card stock base with a panel of the same embossed using the Subtle Embossing Folder.  After all the other element were popped on this embossed panel it was adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

My inspiration design comes from the My Favorite Things Challenge.

I cut a strip of the True Love DSP and adhered down the left side of the card front.  A circle for the greeting was cropped using the Stitched Circle Dies. The greeting is from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set.  I colored flowers from the True Love DSP using Pineapple Punch, Pale Papya, and Mint Macaron.  They were fussy cut as there are no dies for these beautiful flowers.

A bird from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and fussy cut, I know there are dies, but it was such a small piece.  It is colored using the same markers as the flowers.  A dragonfly is fussy cut from the Dragonfly Garden DSP and popped on the card front with two of the Holiday Rhinestones added to it. One of the rhinestones is also popped above the greeting.

More flowers from True Love DSP are colored and fussy cut and adhered to the sentiment panel.

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the True Love DSP.  The DSP matches the flowers on the card front.

Birds & Branches

Stampin’ Up! Birds & Branches

I hope everyone is planning a great day.  For those of you who have gardens it will be a great day for gardening.

My design inspiration is from the Fusion Card Challenge.  I chose the design on the left.  The birds probably ate all my bees!

Start with a Pretty Peacock card stock base. Emboss the top portion of the card after you have cropped it using the Birds & More Dies. Adhere a panel of Basic White on the inside of the front panel, so the greeting can be placed on it.  Stamp in Tuxedo Memento Black ink a greeting from Sending Sunshine Stamp Set.  Fussy cut the greeting and adhere to the Basic White panel.

A panel of In Good Taste DSP is cut and embossed using the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.  This is adhered over the card front.

Stamp in Tuxedo Memento Black ink the birds from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set, color using So Saffron, Real Red, Pool Party, and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. Fussy cut butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou DSP. Crop from Pear Pizzazz card stock the leave branches from the Birds & More Dies.   Arrange all of these on the card front over the Brick & Mortar embossed panel.

A sentiment from the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.

The Basic White envelope flap gets embossed using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Wings

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Wings

Good Morning all!  It is Friday, again, seems it was just here.  For retired people, it should make no difference what day it is but somehow it seems to make that difference.

My card today is featuring the wonderful, beautiful dies that come with the Butterfly Brillance Stamp Bundle.  They are called Butterfly Wings.  Beautiful butterflies can be cropped using these dies.  When I see butterflies or create a card using butterflies, I think of my niece who left this earth much too young.  She loved butterflies and maybe it was so because her name was so related to the outside world — Stormie Woods.

My design layout is inspired by the Tuesday Morning Sketches.

This is a very easy card for today.  Start with a Bermuda Bay card stock base, add a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP that has been cropped using a Stitched With Whimsy Dies.

Crop another panel using a smaller Stitched With Whimsey Dies to pop over the Vellum card stock butterflies cropped using a Butterfly Wings Dies.  Color the edges of the butterflies using a Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Marker. Adhere a dot of Multipurpose Glue to the dark tip of the butterfly wings to hold them in place.

Crop the smallest Stitched With Whimsy Die, stamp the greeting from Grace’s Garden Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay ink on the cropped label.  Pop a Pearl Basic Jewel on the greeting and two others around the card front. The card front is now finished.

The sentiment panel is left blank for a note except for the side border of butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou DSP

A medium Basic White envelope gets a panel of the Butterfly Bijou DSP applied to the envelope flap.

If you would like to create this card all the products used and the card cuts are at the end of this post.
