Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose with Toile Christmas

I think the card I am sharing today turned out lovely. I thought it was going to be one of those blah! cards but no it isn’t.

My challenge is with CAS(E) This Sketch.

I suppose you can call this a white card since only white card stock was used in the creation. The entire card is created using Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.

The card base is Whisper White, the mat embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder is Whisper White, the lace panel cut using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Lace Dies is Whisper White.

The rose is stamped on a 3″ square of Whisper White using Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler ink and the rose stamp from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Stamp Set. The first stamping is full strength, the second is stamped off once to get the lighter color. The berry branch is stamped using Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake ink and using a stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Bundle. Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizzazz inks are used along with a Stampin’ Up! Blender Pen to color the berries and leaves.

The inside sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Stamp Set and is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock.

In finishing, I adhered a panel of the lace cut using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Lace Dies. It coordinates with the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Born To Shine

Have a happy, happy Sunday all! Make it a joyous day!

The card I am sharing today is from Stampin’ Up! Born to Shine Stamp Set. This stamp is ballet and you can see why I need a card with a ballerina on it. When we think of the University of Alabama we always think football, but they have a great school of dance that you never hear about unless you have a dancer.

My challenge today is with Just Us Girls They are showing a photo that gives you ideas.

And…Sweet Stampin’ There challenge is Pretty in Pink!

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock with a mat of Stampin’ Up! Seaside Spray card stock for the Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.

There is also a Stampin’ Up! Petal Pink card stock mat for the Petal Pink art piece. The Petal Pink panels have been flicked with Aqua Painter that has been dipped in black watercolor. The ballerina has been stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink onto the pink panel. A length of Stampin’ Up! 5/8″ Organdy Striped Petal Pink Ribbon is wrapped around the middle of the card at the location the two DSP’s meet.

The ballerina image from the Stampin’ Up! Born To Shine Stamp Set is stamped twice more onto a scrap of Petal Pink card stock and then fussy cut and adhered over the one stamped on the art panel. A third one is stamped on a small scrap of the Bird Ballad DSP and the ballerina costume is fussy cut and then adhered over the others.

Several Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels are randomly placed around the card front. The entire card front is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Petal Pink on a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock panel that has been matted on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Seaside Spray card stock.

In finishing, I adhered a panel of Bird Ballad DSP to the envelope flap and stamped dancing legs on the lower right corner of the envelope.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty with Rustic Retreat

Today was not a very creative card day. I made 4 cards before I settled on this one. Each one seemed to be tackier than the one before. So they were filed in the treasure file– you know the round bin!

The card I am sharing is from Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat and Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty (available Sept 4th). This is stamp set is one of the “Be A Difference Maker ” sets. A portion of each stamp set sold will go toward mental health and we all know someone who needs that help.

My challenge for the day is Try Stamping on Tuesday or Not. It would have been simple to add a bird to my card but did not notice the optional theme of adding something with wings until I was copying the icon for my blog.

My card has a Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake card stock base with a Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock and a Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce card stock mat. This mat is the background panel and has been stamped with one of the tree stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty Stamp Set. I believe SU must be trying to make up for retiring Lovely As A Tree as the trees in this set reminds me of the trees in Lovely As A Tree stamp set. The smaller background panel has also been stamped using the tree stamp. This also has a Crumb Cake and Real Red mat. I cut a length of Stampin’ Up! Burlap Ribbon in two pieces horizontally and adhered around the panels before adhering to the card base.

An image from the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set is stamped using Stampin’ Up! Up! Crumb Cake ink and after setting with the heat tool, it is colored using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blend Markers in Light Real Red, Light Crumb Cake, Light Smoky Slate, Light Pineapple Punch, and Light Shaded Spruce. Stampin’ Up! Adhesive Backed Sequins and Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels are randomly placed on the card front after the art piece is popped on using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Stamp Set and is stamped on the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White circle that has been cut using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Shape Dies.

The inside sentiment panel is left blank for a note but I added a few trees as decoration.

In finishing, I stamped trees on the envelope flap and in the lower right corner.

Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons with Dinoroar and Nature’s Roots

Happy Saturday! Hope you are having a great day and staying cool. The temps are still terrible here in Georgia.

The card I am sharing today is a combination of the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Stamp Set, Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Roots Dies and Stampin’ Up! Dinoroar Designer Series Paper. What an odd combination! A panel the same size as the card base has been cut and embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves Embossing Folder. It is adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

My challenge for the day is with Freshly Made Sketches. This is week 2 of celebrating their 400th challenge. This sketch design was originally used for the #200 challenge.

My card base is Stampin’ Up! Pool Party card stock. There are two Stampin’ Up! Mango Medley card stock mats for the focal panels which are from the Stampin’ Up! Dinoroar Designer Series Paper. The mat and the focal panel have been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtles Embossing Folder.

The leaves are cut using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Roots Dies from Stampin’ Up! Old Olive card stock, Mango Medley card stock and Pool Party card stock. Two leaves are fussy cut from a scrap left over from the focal panel. All are sponged using Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake ink and a sponge.

I used a Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishment to adhere the greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Stamp Set. The bow is made from Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread and has a trinket from the Stampin’ Up! Designer Elements adhered in the center.

The inside sentiment panel is decorated using a leaf stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Rooted in Nature Stamp Set and using Stampin’ Up! Old Olive ink. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Hope your day is going wonderfully cool as the temps here yesterday were horrible. We had to run an errand and the temp in the Suburban read 107. After cooling a bit it went down to 98. Not much improvement — so stay cool today I am sure it will be another hot one. Too hot for humans or animals!

The card I am sharing today is a cute stamp set that covers most of the family members. It is Stampin’ Up! Silhouette Scenes Stamp Set — too bad they did not make dies for the silhouettes.

My card challenge for the day is with Fusion Card Challenge — you can see I did both sides of the challenge or at least I hope my boy and girl qualify as family.

My card starts with a Stampin’ Up! Seaside Spray card stock base. A panel of Stampin’ Up! See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper is added as a focal panel. A triangle is cut from another panel and adhered at the top of the focal panel. This panel looks like the night sky, but then I suppose you can say that for both. The scalloped edge on the triangle is from Stampin’ Up! Budding Blooms Dies. The boy and girl are stamped with Versa Mark and sprinkled with Stampin’ Up! White Embossing Powder and heat set using the Stampin’ Up Heat Tool. I made the boy appear as if he were lying on the ground and looking up at the night sky as his sister or friend points out a special star to him.

The inside sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock panel that has been matted on a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock panel and then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

In finishing my card project I decorated the envelope flap with a panel of the DSP that coordinates with the front of the card, I also stamped the boy and girl on the card front.
