Stampin’ Up! Special Someone

Happy Saturday! Hope your weekend has been going great.

My challenges for today are Tuesday Morning Sketches.

And…

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock as is the panel embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Woodland Embossing Folder. There is a strip of Stampin’ Up! Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper matted on Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock adhered down the left side of the card front with a square of the same DSP and mat popped over this strip with Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensional and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The flowers on the square have been colored with a Stampin’ Up! Light Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker.

The art image, my little raccoon, is from the Stampin’ Up! Special Someone Stamp Set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on an oval that has been cropped with the Stampin’ Up! Layering Dies. The larger dies has been embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Woodland Embossing Folder. Sequins from the Stamp’ Up! Peaceful Poppies Sequins have been randomly scattered over the card front. My little raccoon is holding a heart he wants to give to his friend. He dropped the first one to the ground so he had to make another.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Stamp Set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Real Red ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock. I strip of the Golden Honey DSP is trimmed and adhered down the side of the panel. A small heart from the Stampin’ Up! Special Someone Stamp Set is popped on the panel.

In finishing a panel of the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper is adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed with Beautiful Moments

Happy Friday in spite of the yukky weather we are supposed to have for the weekend. There is one thing about it, we can like it and have fun or be grumpy and unhappy.

This is the front of my card, the base is Stampin’ Up! Petal Pink card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed Designer Series Paper as the focal panel. This is a shadow box card and I followed the instructions in Dawn Griffith’s video here.

Dawn’s instructions are much better than any I can try to write in this blog. If you are interested in creating one, follow her instructions and it will be easy. Here is how the inside of the card looks. I wanted to create it so it appeared the mom and little girl were window shopping.

The greeting is from the Beautiful You Stamp Set and is stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink on a scrap of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock and then cropped with the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Label Dies and popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.

My challenges today are The Paper Players –FashionFun

And…

The Time Out Challenge – Item in Your Wardrobe — The shoes in the store window remind me of the ones I wore to work daily when young and how I walked from Buckhead to Lenox each day in them. Crazy is what I had to be.

I believe these two challenges complement each other well.

I probably should have held the card in my hand when I opened it to the inside and have realized that as I type this.

I fussy cut all the items for the store window from panels of the Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper created a shelf for each and popped them on the panel of DSP that is the wallpaper for the store window. The mom and girl do not show up as well as I would like, It looks as if I did not color their arms and legs but my camera doesn’t pick it up I suppose. I stamped their dresses on a piece of the Best Dressed DSP, fussy cut then glued over the existing dresses. The little girls’s dress is pink, but it shows up brown.

In finishing a panel of the Best Dressed 6′ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is adhered to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! A Little Lace With Pressed Petals

Happy Sunday, are you still all snuggled under the warm blankets on this chilly day in Georgia? Still, NO snow 🙂 and I am praying it stays that way. It can be cold but none of the white stuff wanted here!

My inspiration for today’s card comes from two challenges–

As You See It Challenge — Love Is In The Air

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock with a background panel of the same card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.

The daisies that make up the heart are fussy cut from a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper and using Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dots are popped on the embossed panel to form the heart. A Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Twine bow is made and popped in the V of the heart using a Glue Dot. Stampin’ Up! Gold Faceted Dot are popped on the embossed panel at the alternating corners.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Ribbon of Courage Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper then the panel is adhered to the card base.

In finishing the envelope flap gets a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up Tropical Oasis

Happy Saturday! Hope it isn’t too chilly where you are. In Georgia, if it gets below 50 we are chilly, so it was 39 here this morning so I am cold. But the weather forecast is not what you visited my blog for so let’s get going!

In today’s post, I’ll be featuring the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Memories and More Card Pack (available in the Jan.-June 2020 Mini Catalog) to share with you.

My inspirations for today come from Try Stamping on Tuesday — Sketch Challenge

And…

Watercooler Wednesday — WWC254 – Tristan’s Challenge: All About Occasions

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Cajun Craze card stock with a background panel of the same card stock embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. The two banners behind the Mint Macaron panel are cut from Stampin’ Up! Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper and the Regal 6′ x 6′ Designer Paper. The word “love” is cropped using the die from Stampin’ Up! Well Written Dies.

The art panel has been cropped using Stampin’ Up! Stitched So Sweetly Dies from a panel of Stampin’ Up! Mint Macaron card stock. The flowers have been fussy cut from cards in the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Memories and More Card Pack. They are popped on the Mint Macaron panel using Glue Dots, Liquid Glue, and Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Stampin’ Up! Linen Thread is wrapped around my hand four times and then removed and carefully placed on the Mint Macaron panel before the flowers are popped on.

The two little hearts are punched using a Stampin’ Up! Heart Punch. Using the tip of a Wink of Stella brush, I brushed a little Stampin’ Up! Gold Delicata Ink on the heart to give them a shine.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Everything Is Rosy Stamp Set is stamped in Cajun Craze ink on a panel of Whisper White. Leaves and flowers are popped in alternating corners using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then the panel is adhered to the card base.

In finishing the envelope flap gets a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Bliss card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White panel embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder. A Blackberry Bliss decorative strip from the Stampin’ Up! Lily Pad Dies has been cropped and adhered at the bottom of the embossed panel. This panel is then popped on the Whisper White embossed panel using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. A bow is made from Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine and popped on one of the flowers using a Stampin’ Up! Glue Dot.

The image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Braided Stamp Set is stamped on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper using Versa Mark ink, Stampin’ Up! Shimmery White Embossing Powder was sprinkled over the Versa Mark ink and then heat embossed. The greeting and two dragonflies from the Stampin’ Up! Friend Like You Stamp Set are also stamped using Versa Mark ink and embossed with the Shimmery White Embossing Powder.

The sentiment and dragonflies are from the Stampin’ Up! Friend Like You Stamp Set and is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock which is then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

In finishing, a panel from the Stampin’ Up! Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper that has been heat embossed using the same stamp like the one above for the art piece and is adhered to the envelope flap using Liquid Glue. The image is stamped in Versa Mark then Shimmery White Embossing Powder is sprinkled over it and heat embossed.
