Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat
Welcome! I feel I am so behind, it has taken me almost three days to get one card made, migraines will do that to you. Haven’t had one in a while, but I do now. I know you have been waiting for me to post and tell you I have a migraine.🙂
The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat and Itty Bitty Christmas.
The inspiration for the design comes from Tuesday Morning Sketches.
The card base is Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Seafoam Spray card stock mat for the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence DSP. A Vellum strip is added down the side over the DSP.
Snowflakes are cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Layers Dies then added to the DSP with dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The art piece is stamped on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set for the house, Snow Front Stamp Set for the mountains and Merry Moose Stamp Set for the trees The house was fussy cut once colored with Stampin’ Blends in Light Crumb Cake, Light Smoky Slate, Light Pretty Peacock, and Light Mint Macaron. After coloring a Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Die is used to crop the circle of the art piece. It is then popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. The snow on the mountains looks gray in the photo but it is glitter and glue, can’t believe how it looks in a photo.

The sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Perennial Essence DSP added to the envelope flap for the final finishing touches.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day. My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

The card I am sharing today is created with the new addition available now from Stampin’ Up! The Christmastime is Here Suite. You can make Christmas, Birthday, Thinking of You, Sympathy or just about any kind you are wanting to create. Using this DSP is an easy way to get Christmas card made in a hurry.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set, Toile Christmas Stamp Set and Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper.

In finishing up my project, I gave my Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla envelope flap a panel of the Stampin’ Up! Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper.

My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Bundle. I am happy Stampin’ Up! kept this set, it helps to make up for not having Lovely As A Tree! My card is like one that Beth McCullough made but I used red, she used pink. You can see her’s
The card has a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock base with a Basic Black panel embossed using Stampin’ Up! White Embossing Powder with some of the trees from the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Set.
To make the evergreen Silver tree, use the evergreen dies from the Stampin’ Up! In The Woods Dies and Stampin’ Up! Silver Glimmer Paper. Cut two trees and adhere together using Mini Glue Dot. Color seven Stampin’ Up! Basic Rhinestone Jewels using a Stampin’ Blends Light Cherry Cobbler Marker then pop on the tree that has been popped on the card front in the left corner of the frame.
It’s called the Christmas Time is Here Suite and it’s pretty amazing! just look at that DSP, isn’t it gorgeous and here’s hoping the die fits the rose on the DSP! The dies do fit the roses on one of the panels of the DSP. The dies fit perfectly. This suite was used by several demonstrators October 5 during World Card Making Day and the cards were gorgeous. You should see if you can find them on Pinterest, they are so beautiful.
