Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat

Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat

Welcome!  I feel I am so behind, it has taken me almost three days to get one card made, migraines will do that to  you.  Haven’t had one in a while, but I do now.  I know you have been waiting for me to post and tell you I have a migraine.🙂

The card I am sharing today is created using Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat and Itty Bitty Christmas.

The inspiration for the design comes from Tuesday  Morning Sketches.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce card stock with a Stampin’ Up! Seafoam Spray card stock mat for the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence DSP.  A Vellum strip is added down the side over the DSP.

Snowflakes are cropped using the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Layers Dies then added to the DSP with dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The art piece is stamped on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Stamp Set for the house, Snow Front Stamp Set for the mountains and Merry Moose Stamp Set for the trees  The house was fussy cut once colored with Stampin’ Blends in Light Crumb Cake, Light Smoky Slate, Light Pretty Peacock, and Light Mint Macaron. After coloring a Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Die is used to crop the circle  of the art piece. It is then popped on the card front using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The snow on the mountains looks gray in the photo but it is glitter and glue, can’t believe how it looks in a photo.

The sentiment is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then adhered to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Stampin’ Up! Whisper White envelope gets a panel of the Perennial Essence DSP added to the envelope flap for the final finishing touches.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! In the Woods

Stampin’ Up! In the Woods

Welcome, everyone!  I hope your day is going great.

The card I am sharing today is created using an embossing folder Stampin’ Up! Woodland Embossing Folder that I truly hope Stampin’ Up! keeps for a long long time. I also used Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty and Winter Woods.  I put no greeting on the outside as I think it takes away from the scene, maybe another time I would put a greeting.

My inspiration for today’s card comes from The Paper Players.  Theme – Into The Woods — I believe that is the name of my post.

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock as well as the remaining parts of the card layers.  I stamped the evergreens in Stampin’ Up! Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of the Whisper White, masking the trees so I could stamp the deer from Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Beauty between them.

I embossed a panel of Whisper White card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Woodland Embossing Folder, then fussy cut the trees out. I cut a strip of Whisper White to look like a snowbank and popped it over the bottom of the evergreens. I  popped the Woodland piece over the evergreens and deer using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added two of the red birds left from the October Paper Pumpkin, then popped it onto the card base.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  The evergreen is from the Winter Woods Stamp Set.  I truly like the way it looks like snow is on the branches, isn’t it beautiful?

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose

Happy Sunday!  Hope you are having a great weekend!  FYI–52 days until Christmas– 42 days until Christmas cards should be mailed.🙂

The card I am sharing today is created with the new addition available now from Stampin’ Up! The Christmastime is Here Suite.  You can make Christmas, Birthday, Thinking of You, Sympathy or just about any kind you are wanting to create.  Using this DSP is an easy way to get Christmas card made in a hurry.

Challenge today is with Crafty Hazelnut Christmas Challenge.

The base of my card is a gold edge card from the  Stampin’ Up! Gold Foil Edged Cards & Envelopes.  The Cherry Cobbler color panel is from the Stampin’ Up! Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper as the rose that has been fussy cut out as I misplaced my dies and then realized when I went to make another card that I had put the dies with that set.

This was an easy way to create a beautiful card in a short time.  The gold bow is also part of that suite.

The sentiment stamped in Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler ink is also from the Christmas Rose Stamp Set.  Roses have been fussy cut and adhered to the corners of the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White panel.

Stampin’ Up! Toile Tidings

Welcome!  Hope your weekend is going great and you are having time to enjoy that second cup of coffee or tea.

The card I am sharing today is created using the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set, Toile Christmas Stamp Set and Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper.

Challenges are:  Cute Card Thursday — The theme is Christmas/Holidays.

Watercooler Wednesday — Anything Goes

My card base is Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock with background panels from Stampin’ Up! Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper. The two pieces of DSP are attached to a Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla card stock panel in order to give the two panels more stability for attaching to the card base.  A Stampin’ Up! The art piece is a 2″ square of Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock that has a Christmas Tree from the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper fussy cut and then adhered to the mat that has been created using half red and half green cut from Stampin’ Up! Real Red and Garden Green card stock.  Several Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels have been colored using Stampin’ Blends Dark Real Red and Shaded Spruce Markers.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas Stamp Set is stamped in Real Red in on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  A portion of a panel of the Toile Tidings DSP is adhered at the bottom of the panel.

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods

Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods

I hope it isn’t another rainy day, I know the earth needs it, but it is depressing so to help my depression all I can do is make cards!  Do you think that is the correct medicine?

My card today is created using Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Bundle.  I am happy Stampin’ Up! kept this set, it helps to make up for not having Lovely As A Tree!  My card is like one that Beth McCullough made but I used red, she used pink.  You can see her’s here.  I wanted to play in the Dragonfly Dreams Challenge.  The theme is to use black lots or a little.  So I needed a black card and Beth’s just happen to appear in my mailbox, so thank you, Beth, for this lovely card you made so I could CAS(E).

The card has a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black card stock base with a Basic Black panel embossed using Stampin’ Up! White Embossing Powder with some of the trees from the Stampin’ Up! Winter Woods Stamp Set.

Run a piece of the Stampin’ Up! Sparkle Glimmer paper through the Big Shot using the Stampin’ Up! In the Woods die that looks like a thin curvy piece of metal, this will make the slope for the snow.
Using the 1st and 3rd largest Stampin’ Up! Stitched Rectangles Dies crop a frame from a panel of Stampin’ Up! Real Red card stock. Adhere the snow slope to the back of the frame using Stampin’ Up! Mini Glue Dots or Stampin’ Up! Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals if you did not crop three of the frames to gives the frame stability and thickness.  You will then adhere the frame to the Basic Black panel using Glue Dots.

To make the evergreen Silver tree, use the evergreen dies from the Stampin’ Up! In The Woods Dies and Stampin’ Up! Silver Glimmer Paper.  Cut two trees and adhere together using Mini Glue Dot.  Color seven Stampin’ Up! Basic Rhinestone Jewels using a Stampin’ Blends Light Cherry Cobbler Marker then pop on the tree that has been popped on the card front in the left corner of the frame.

The sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black in on a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock panel that is matted on a panel of Real Red card stock.  The picture of my card not being straight in the pictures gives the allusion that the sentiment is crooked.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope you will join me on my stamping journey as I share my cards with you each day.  My hope and wish are that you will be inspired to create amazing creations yourself.
