Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Dreams

My card uses some new some old. New is the Stampin’ Up! Garden Lane DSP. The old is all the remaining products, some like the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Dreams and Incredible Like You stamp sets will be retiring June 3.

My challenges for today are CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #323. The focus is on the sentiment.

And… Global Design Project with the theme being Bees, Birds & Butterflies.

My camera must not pick up the Soft Sea Foam color of card stock, it doesn’t show up here as such. This DSP is such a lovely piece in person, the picture does not present its beauty! A label has been cut from the focal panel using the new Stampin’ Up! Stitched Nested Label Dies. This cut reveals the Stampin’ Up! Soft Seafoam mat behind it which the greeting from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set has been stamped in Stampin’ Up! Garden Green ink.

There is an envelope that coordinates with the card front. The Happy Belated Birthday is from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set. The dragonflies are from the soon to be retired Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Dreams stamp set.

The inside sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up! Incredible Like You stamp set. Part of it has been masked so it will say what you see.

Stampin’ Up! Share What You Love with Free As A Bird and Bird Ballad!

My card is created using Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala stamp set, Free as A Bird stamp set (available June 4), Share What You Love Designer Series Paper and Bird Ballad Designer Paper. The Bird Ballad DSP icon is not showing up in the List of Products use.

My design comes from the Try Stampin On Tuesday Challenge.

The card has a Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Tide card stock base. This card stock will be retiring June 3, so if Tranquil Tide is one of your favorite and your stash is low, you may want to order today or tomorrow. The card front is embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Subtle Embossing Folder. The strip of Stampin’ Up! Rich Razzleberry card stock is also embossed using the same folder.

The focal panel is from Stampin’ Up! Share What You Love Designer Series Paper. This gorgeous DSP will be retiring June 3. It is adhered to the Rich Razzleberry strip using Liquid Multipurpose Glue and then both are adhered to the card base.

The birds are fussy cut from a panel of Stampin’Up! Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (available June 4) They are popped onto the Stampin’ Up! Whisper White card stock circle that has been cut using the Stampin’ Up! Layering Circle Framelits Dies. The circle is then popped onto the card front.

The greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala stamp set is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Tide ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock. It is matted on a small strip of Tranquil Tide card stock and popped on the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three Pearl Basic Jewels are popped on the card front.

The sentiment is from the new Stampin’ Up! stamp set Free As A Bird (available June 4). It is stamped in Stampin’ Up! Rich Razzleberry ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and has a small bunch of poppies fussy cut from a small scrap of Stampin’ Up! Share What You Love DSP and is adhered to the right corner using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.

An envelope flap is covered in Share What You Love DSP to coordinate with the card front focal panel.

Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Wishes

My card is created using the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. As you can see a very simple easy card to create.

I am playing along in two challenges today the Double D Challenge.

And…

the Moving Along With the Time Monochrome Color Challenge.

As I said earlier, you can see how simple this card is to create. A card base from Stampin’ Up! Blushing Bride card stock A 2-1/2″ square from the same card stock that has been cut using the Stampin’ Up! Layering Square Framelits. The card front and the butterfly panel have been embossed using the Stampin’ UP! Subtle Embossing Folder. A butterfly from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits is used to cut the butterfly in the center of the square. It is then returned to its place and a scrap of Stampin’ Up! Lovely Lipstick card stock is adhered behind it to show the Lovely Lipstick color through the butterfly. The heart and the word LOVE are also cut from Lovely Lipstick and adhered or popped on with Liquid Multipurpose Glue or Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three pearls from the Stampin’ Up! Pearl Basic Jewels Assortment is scattered over the card front.

The inside sentiment is stamped on a panel of Whisper White using the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set bundle that is being carried over in the upcoming 2019-20 Annual Catalog to create my card for the Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge ending today.

My sketch is from the Hand Stamped Sentiment Sketch Challenge.

I started with a Very Vanilla card stock card base.

A panel of Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla card stock was cut and embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder. This panel will be adhered to the card base once the card front is ready to adhere.

A panel of Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow card stock is cut and one of the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Everything is Rosy Product Medley is used to crop the trim on the edge of the Mossy Meadow panel. (available until May 31, this is a set you want to get even though it is available for such a short time. It is one of those set you want to keep.)

A panel is cut from a sheet of the Stampin’ Up! Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper. This floral panel is adhered using Liquid Glue to the Mossy Meadow panel that has the decorative edge from using one of the dies in the Stampin’ Up! Everything is Rosy Product Medley. These two panels are adhered using Liquid Glue and then adhered to the panel that was embossed using the Stampin’ Up! Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder.

To create the flower that is popped on the floral panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I first stamped an image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set in Versa Mark ink and then to get the color I wanted, I used Stampin’ Up! Cherry Cobbler and Flirty Flamingo inks and stamped off once before stamping it over the Versa Mark ink. I used Clear Embossing Powder to heat emboss the image. The flower image was then colored using a Stampin’ Blends Light Flirty Flamingo and Light Petal Pink pens. I then fussy cut the flower out. I know there are dies for this flower, but I wanted the cut to be closer than you get when you use the dies. The Happy Birthday is from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set. It is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock and matted onto a Mossy Meadow scrap of card stock and then popped onto the card front.

The inside sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Everything is Rosy Product Medley is stamped using Stampin’ Up! Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla card stock. A smaller flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink. A Stampin’ Blends Light Flirty Flamingo pen is used to color the flower.

An envelope flap is covered with a panel of the DSP from the Stampin’ Up! Petal Promenade DSP to match the card front.

It’s Your Day! Floral Essence

Here is a sneak peek of the Perennial Essence DSP. I think I am going to love, love, love it. But… every time I use one of the new Designer Series Paper, I end up saying I love it. Guess I just love them all.

My sketch design is based on the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #321. I alter it a bit an put the triangles more in the middle.

My card is created using the Perennial Essence DSP and the Floral Essence stamp set.

Card Front

Card Base — Blackberry Bliss.
Balmy Blue card stock panel for a mat for Perennial Essence DSP. Adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A Perennial Essence DSP panel cut for the focal panel.
Mossy Meadow card stock mat for the Balmy Blue card stock triangles.
A scrap of Balmy Blue card stock for greeting from the Best Catch stamp set.
Greeting stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.
Butterflies cut from Perennial Essence DSP and Blackberry Bliss card stock using dies from the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies.
Blackberry Bliss butterfly is popped over the Perennial Essence butterfly with a Glue Dot.
Three Pearl Basic Jewel added to the card front.

Inside:

Balmy Blue card stock for a mat for the Whisper White sentiment panel.
A sentiment from Floral Essence stamp set is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.
A panel from the Perennial Essence DSP featuring a lovely flower is cut and added to the sentiment panel.
All panels are adhered using Liquid Glue.

The envelope gets some of the Perennial Essence DSP added to the flap.
